Robert sprinted along the forest on all fours brushing through the dark forest like a shadow passing by.
"Forget about everything and live on Yuki, this is my last gift to you as a father."

Yuki walked along the pathway wondering what kind of life awaited him from then on, he had to live like a normal human and keep his head low. For someone born as a noble this was a huge change for him.
"What am I even supposed to do when I get there??"
After walking for a while, he saw a tall wall with a gate in front and human soldiers armed with guns guarding the walls.
"That must be the city" he muttered then walked straight towards the city gate where vehicles were travelling in and out.
After walking close, one of the soldiers saw him and raised a hand to halt him. "Where are you coming from? Walking across the wilderness alone?" He asked with raised eyebrows.
"I was traveling with my father when we were ambushed by bandits, a wolf pack invaded at night and my father was killed I barely survived the attack." He said while indicating the wound he left on himself as an excuse before approaching the gate.
The soldier inspected the wound and confirmed it was really a wolf and since he looked young they didn't consider him as a dangerous threat so he let him into the city.
"Follow the rules around here and you'll be fine. Good luck, my condolences."
Yuki walked into the city confused about where to go so he just picked a random direction and kept walking while looking round for something he could do.
'Everywhere feels so strange' he thought while walking along the sideways.
After a while, he stopped near a restaurant, the aroma of meat coming out of the restaurant was making him feel dizzy, he could literally hear his stomach screaming at him.
'How long was I out for? I feel so hungry' he thought then looked around him watching the humans pass by with a greedy look on his face. His eyes already turned bloody red and his stomach growled even louder.
'Snap out of this, it's just food and I'm hungry I could do a few jobs for them and get some money for food.' he thought then walked towards the restaurant.
After a while he walked out again, 'Is meat supposed to be that expensive? I feel so dizzy, if I don't eat soon I might really go on a rampage. Father won't be happy.'
'I need to leave this place first, the aroma is making me lose my mind.' he thought then walked away from the restaurant and continued walking down the streets, his eyes getting blurry when he saw a girl getting cornered in a nearby alley by three men.
"What are they doing? Oh forget it, seems like they have bad intentions." He thought then walked into the alley.
"Who are you?" One of the men asked with an annoyed look on his face.
"Just a passerby, what are you guys doing here?" That's none of your business and you had better get moving before I get angry--."
The next moment Yuki dashed forward and threw a straight punch at the man, he could almost hear his skull cracking from the impact.
'I think I did too much, or my punch just got that strong since the awakening Ceremony.' he thought while looking at his fist.
The other two, hearing the audible cracking sounds turned and we're about to run without a shred of hesitation when Yuki called out. "Where do you think you're going to?"
The two immediately froze on the spot feeling like they were stuck in the trap of a predator. "Give me all your money before leaving, I'll take that as my fee." He said with outstretched hands.
The two quickly pulled out their wallets emptied it for him before turning around and running like their lives depended on it. He pulled out the third man's wallet and turned around to leave.
"Thanks for saving me--."
"I only did it for the money and I got my pay already, don't get caught in such a situation again or there'll be no one around to save you." He said then left the alley.

An hour later, Yuki left the restaurant with a satisfied look on his face while those in the restaurant were looking at him like a demon.
"Did he just finish all that alone?"
"Is he human"
Behind him in the restaurant were plates stacked up high with everything emptied down to the last one.
'It's so delicious and satisfying, I would've waited for more but I'm out of cash, I'll come back here later." He thought then left the restaurant with a joyful hum.
At night, he left for downtown to sleep in a little forest behind downtown because he couldn't afford the fees for a room.
"I should've saved some money instead of wasting everything in the restaurant earlier, now I can't even pay for a room. No regrets though, I'll go find a job to do tomorrow." He muttered then found a tree and climbed it and dozed off.
The next thing he saw when he woke up were four people looking down at him while typing him up.
"Is that him? Yes it can't be wrong, the tracker indicates it's him and the picture on the poster is the same." One of them said while tying him up. He tried moving but couldn't feel his limbs.
"Sleeping out here in the wild, he's really a bold one." Another one said with a chuckle.
"Forget that, we had to take a secret route here to avoid getting detected, we're lucky to get him without an hitch but we need to leave now."
"Jack! Pick him up and let's leave." He said then Yuki felt dizzy again and his eyes closed as he felt himself getting lifted.
