"What are you doing here?"
Andrew Shaw stared at the two of them in shock. They weren't far apart in age, and it was just after midnight—a time when everyone should be getting ready for bed.
Yet here was Felix Lawrence, a grown man, in Stella Sterling's room.
'Something's wrong. Very wrong!'
At that thought, his gaze toward Felix Lawrence immediately turned wary!
Seeing the look on his face, Felix Lawrence's mouth twitched. This kid really didn't act like a kid at all!
'And what's with that look?'
'I, Felix Lawrence, am an absolute gentleman, all right? How could he look at me like I'm some kind of scoundrel?'
Felix Lawrence turned to Stella Sterling and said, "Miss Sterling, this subordinate of yours is really something else."
Felix Lawrence shook his head as he spoke!
Stella Sterling looked at Andrew Shaw. "He came to see me because he has something to discuss. Get your mind out of the gutter."
As she spoke, Stella Sterling shot him a warning glance.
