Far away in the Underworld, inside a grand and quiet office, a man with bright red hair sat at his large desk.
This was Sirzechs Lucifer, the Crimson Satan, and Rias's older brother.
He was holding two magical reports in his hands.
One report was written by Rias, and the other was written by Sona Sitri.
Sirzechs read every single word very carefully.
When he finally reached the end of the pages, he let out a very long, heavy sigh of relief.
He leaned back in his chair and rubbed his tired eyes.
"Is the news that bad?"
A sweet, slightly worried voice asked.
Sitting on the comfortable sofa across the room was Serafall Leviathan.
She was another powerful Devil King, and she was Sona's older sister.
"It *was* bad, Serafall,"
Sirzechs answered, putting the papers down.
"Kokabiel brought a massive army of Fallen Angels to Kuoh Academy. He purposely attacked the school to force our hands. He was trying to start a new Great War."
Serafall gasped. Her hands flew to her mouth, her eyes wide with fear.
"Sona... is my little Sona okay?"
Serafall asked quickly, her voice shaking.
"She is perfectly safe,"
Sirzechs smiled softly, wanting to calm her down right away.
"Both Rias and Sona are safe, and the school is fine. But it was an incredibly close call. Kokabiel was much stronger than they were."
Sirzechs's gentle smile slowly faded away.
His bright blue eyes turned dark and dangerous.
For a brief second, the air in the quiet office felt heavy and terrifying.
"If Elias hadn't been there..."
Sirzechs whispered. His voice was quiet, but it was trembling with suppressed anger.
"If Kokabiel had actually hurt Rias... I don't think I could have controlled my wrath. I would have destroyed everything in my path to make him pay."
Serafall nodded slowly. Her own playful attitude completely vanished. Her eyes turned as cold as ice.
"I feel the exact same way,"
Serafall agreed, her voice dead serious.
"If anyone laid a single finger on my Sona, I would stop at nothing to tear them apart. I would freeze the entire world to protect her."
They both sat in quiet thought for a moment.
As Devil Kings, they had to be calm and logical leaders.
But as older siblings, the thought of losing their little sisters was absolutely terrifying.
They owed Elias a massive debt that they could never truly repay.
"This boy, Elias..."
Sirzechs said, breaking the heavy silence.
"He is truly unbelievable. He single-handedly stopped a Cadre and saved our sisters. Rias even reported that he forced the White Dragon Emperor to surrender."
"He is our sisters' hero,"
Serafall said with a warm, grateful smile.
Sirzechs looked at the reports on his desk again.
He tapped his finger against the wood, thinking very deeply about the future.
"Serafall, you know we have been talking with Michael of the Angels and Azazel of the Fallen Angels,"
Sirzechs said seriously.
"We want to hold a three-faction summit. We need to sign a formal peace treaty to stop things like this from ever happening again."
"Yes,"
Serafall nodded.
"It is going to be a very tense meeting. The three sides haven't sat in the same room since the Great War. Why do you bring it up?"
"Because Kokabiel's attack proves that our current peace is too fragile,"
Sirzechs explained.
"And Elias is standing right in the middle of all of this. He is incredibly powerful, and he just saved the sisters of two Devil Kings. Even Azazel respects him deeply."
Sirzechs stood up and looked out his large window, looking out toward the human world.
"When the time comes for the peace summit,"
Sirzechs decided, his voice full of firm resolution.
"I think we need to pull Elias into the meeting. If we want this peace treaty to actually work... having him there might be exactly what we need."
Sirzechs raised his hand.
A bright magical circle appeared over his desk.
It was a special, high-level communication spell that connected the leaders of the three factions.
A moment later, two voices filled the quiet office.
The first voice was relaxed and a little lazy. It was Azazel, the Governor of the Fallen Angels.
The second voice was incredibly warm, gentle, and calm. It was Michael, the leader of the Angels in Heaven.
"Gentlemen,"
Sirzechs started respectfully.
"We need to discuss the upcoming peace summit. After the mess Kokabiel made in my sister's territory, we cannot delay this any longer."
"Agreed,"
Michael said softly.
"Too many lives were put at risk."
"Yeah, yeah. I am already handling the cleanup,"
Azazel sighed through the magic circle.
"But what is the main problem, Sirzechs?"
"I want to change the guest list,"
Sirzechs explained.
"I want Elias to attend the summit with us. He is heavily involved in this now, and his power is undeniable."
Azazel burst out laughing. He laughed so loudly that the magical circle actually flickered.
"Attend?"
Azazel chuckled.
"Sirzechs, if Elias comes to the summit, he shouldn't just sit on the side like a regular guest. He needs to sit in the Central seat."
Sirzechs blinked in pure surprise. Serafall also looked shocked.
"The Central seat?"
Sirzechs asked, completely confused.
"Azazel, that seat is for the absolute center of the meeting. It is for the ultimate mediator. You want a teenage boy to sit above the Devil Kings, the Angels, and the Fallen Angels?"
"You have no idea, Sirzechs,"
Azazel smirked, his voice filled with deep, hidden amusement.
"You look at Elias and you just see a really strong teenager. You have absolutely no idea who he is going to become in the future. The things he is going to do... it makes our little faction war look like a joke."
Azazel took a slow sip of his drink.
"And,"
Azazel added playfully,
"You definitely have no idea who his quiet, cute little girlfriend actually is. Trust me on this, Sirzechs. If we don't treat them with the highest respect, and she gets angry... our entire universe will turn into dust. Giving him the Central seat is the smartest thing we can do."
Sirzechs frowned deeply. What did Azazel mean? He knew Elias was strong, but Azazel was talking about him like he was a god.
And his girlfriend? Did he mean Dee, the pale girl who lived with them?
Before Sirzechs could ask any questions, Michael spoke up.
"I actually agree with Azazel,"
Michael said gently.
"Elias should take the Central seat."
"You too, Michael?"
Serafall asked, leaning closer to the magical circle.
"Why?"
"Because I just finished reading a very long report from Irina,"
Michael explained warmly.
"She is one of the young exorcists who was sent to Kuoh town. She told me everything that happened."
Michael's voice filled with deep respect and relief.
"Elias is incredibly powerful, but he is also incredibly fair,"
Michael continued.
"He easily defeated my holy knights, and he took their sword. He could have killed them for attacking his family. But he didn't. He showed mercy. He taught them a harsh but valuable lesson about blind pride, and his family showed them pure kindness when they were starving."
Michael paused, his tone turning very serious.
"Elias does not belong to the Devils, the Angels, or the Fallen Angels,"
Michael stated.
"He is completely neutral. And as we all saw tonight, he has the strength to back up."
Sirzechs looked at Serafall. She slowly nodded her head. The logic was completely sound.
"Alright,"
Sirzechs said firmly, looking back at the glowing magical circle.
"Then it is decided. When the three factions meet, Elias will sit in the Central seat."
