Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: The World Beyond

There was no sound.

No light.

No darkness.

Only… existence.

Asad slowly opened his eyes.

"…So this is…"

His voice echoed strangely—

As if space itself didn't fully exist.

"…beyond the story."

Beside him, Leon appeared—

Falling slightly before stabilizing himself.

"…Where… are we…?"

He looked around.

There was no ground.

No sky.

Just endless white… stretching forever.

Asad observed calmly.

"…Not a world."

A pause.

"…More like a foundation."

Leon frowned.

"…Foundation…?"

Before Asad could answer—

A ripple spread through the space.

Like water reacting to a drop.

Then—

A figure appeared.

Not descending.

Not forming.

Just… suddenly there.

Leon immediately tensed.

"…That presence…"

Asad's eyes narrowed.

"…You're different from before."

The figure looked at them.

This time—

It had a clear form.

Humanoid.

But incomplete.

Like something still being written.

"…You have crossed the boundary."

Its voice was calmer than before.

But deeper.

More real.

Leon stepped forward slightly.

"…You're the Origin… right?"

The figure tilted its head.

"…That is one name."

Asad smirked faintly.

"…Meaning you have others."

Silence.

Then—

"…I am the beginning of all narratives."

The space around them trembled slightly.

Leon felt the pressure—

But it wasn't crushing.

It was… absolute.

"…Then this place…"

Asad finished:

"…Is where stories are created."

The Origin confirmed:

"…Correct."

A pause.

"…And destroyed."

Leon clenched his fists.

"…So you control everything."

The Origin didn't deny it.

"…I maintain structure."

Asad stepped forward.

"…By resetting anything that changes."

The Origin looked at him.

"…Change leads to collapse."

Asad smiled slightly.

"…No."

"…It leads to evolution."

Silence.

The two stared at each other.

Creator…

And anomaly.

Leon looked between them.

"…If this is the source…"

"…Then we end it here."

The Origin responded instantly:

"…You cannot."

Leon raised his sword.

"…Watch me."

But before he could move—

The space around him froze.

Not time.

Not force.

But existence itself.

Leon couldn't move.

"…What—?!"

The Origin spoke:

"…You are still part of the system."

Leon struggled—

But nothing changed.

Asad didn't move.

He simply watched.

"…So this is the difference."

He said quietly.

"…I can move here."

The Origin confirmed:

"…Because you are not bound."

A pause.

"…But you are incomplete."

Asad's eyes narrowed.

"…Incomplete…?"

The Origin raised its hand.

And suddenly—

Memories flooded Asad's mind.

Not from this world.

Not from the novel.

But from before.

A desk.

A screen.

A blank page.

"…What…?"

Asad's breathing slowed.

"…That's… me…"

The Origin spoke:

"…You created a story…"

"…but you did not create yourself."

Silence.

Leon's eyes widened.

"…What does that mean?!"

Asad didn't respond.

He was thinking.

Deeply.

"…I… wrote this world…"

"…but I don't know why…"

A pause.

"…or how I got here."

The Origin stepped closer.

"…Because you were never meant to remain outside."

Asad looked up.

"…Say that again."

The Origin's voice became clearer.

Stronger.

"…You are not just the writer."

A pause.

"…You are part of the narrative you created."

Leon froze.

"…What…?"

Asad's expression slowly changed.

"…So I was always… inside the story?"

The Origin nodded slightly.

"…Yes."

"…You are the bridge."

Silence.

The meaning settled in.

Asad looked at his hands.

"…That's why I can exist here…"

"…and there."

The Origin continued:

"…You are both creator…"

"…and creation."

Leon whispered:

"…That's… impossible…"

Asad slowly smiled.

Not shocked.

Not confused.

But… understanding.

"…No."

"…It makes sense."

He looked at the Origin.

"…That's why you can't erase me."

The Origin remained silent.

Which meant—

He was right.

Asad took a step forward.

"…Because if I disappear…"

"…the story loses its anchor."

The space trembled.

For the first time—

The Origin didn't respond immediately.

Leon felt it.

"…You… cornered it…?"

Asad raised his hand slowly.

Dark energy formed—

But now—

It felt different.

Not destructive.

Not chaotic.

Controlled.

Like writing itself.

"…You called this a structure…"

"…a system…"

A pause.

His eyes glowed.

"…But it's just a draft."

The Origin's voice sharpened:

"…Do not proceed."

Asad smiled.

"…Too late."

Energy surged.

Reality shifted.

"…I'm rewriting it."
