Suddenly, someone grabbed Riser by the back of his hair and threw him with incredible force. He flew through the school wall, shot out of the building, then slammed into the ground and crashed through several trees in the forest.
"What!", Rias's eyes widened in surprise. Issei who was in her arm turned transparent before teleporting completely, to get medical attention. Rias stared at the man in front of her, as four pairs of wings extended from his back. He glanced at her with a smirk and lowered his sunglasses.
"You did good, though you do need some training princess Gremory."
BOOOM!
Adrien's eight wings flapped and he shot toward Riser at incredible speed, so fast he almost seemed to disappear. A sonic boom exploded behind him, and shockwaves spread through the area. Rias's crimson hair was blown back, and she raised a hand to shield her eyes as dust filled the air.
"No way! H-he's an Ultimate-Class devil...?", she said in a weak voice.
A hundered meters away, Yubelluna landed near Riser.
"Lord Riser what happen-"
Before she could even finish, Adrien appeared in front of him, grabbed Riser by the head, and slammed him into the ground. The impact was so brutal that blood burst out of his ears, nose and eyes. Flames quickly gathered around Riser's body and began healing him, he tried to get out of the ground by exploding flames from underneath himself but Adrien then seized him by the neck and forced him back down.
A magic circle appeared in front of Yubelluna.
"Don't touch him!"
At the same time Adrien his other other hand toward her.
The moment her explosive bolt fired, a magic circle barrier appeared right in front of her. The attack exploded at point-blank range, and she took the full force of it herself. Smoke quickly filled the area, and when it began to clear, Yubelluna collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
Adrien had read which magic circle she used and knew it was projectile attack, so all he did was make her take her own hit by placing a barrier right in front of her.
"Yo Riser, long time no see. I didn't really miss you though".
Riser's body erupted in flames trying to push him back so he could regain his footing, but Adrien didn't flinch, burns started accumulating on his hand and extended to his arm and shoulder. Adrien reinforced it with demonic power and squeezed Riser's neck even more.
Riser wasn't able to speak, he just uttered sounds of someone getting choked to death. His face was red and his eyes started losing color.
"You're regeneration is entirely dependent on your level of Demonic energy and your mental endurance. Can't really use the mental faculty thing, when the flow of blood to your head is getting cut off right?". After two minutes of getting chocked, Riser fell unconscious.
"No you don't," Adrien slapped his face once, twice, thrice on the fourth slap, Riser jolted open taking a huge exhale. "Yes, exactly, we're just getting started. Don't go to sleep so early."
Then a flacon appeared in Adrien's hand in a swirling vortex, he opened it's cover then forcefully made Riser drink it.
"Yuuk! W-what do you want! Do you know who I am!", Riser shouted. Apparently Riser didn't recognize him, well he wasn't to be blamed, he's seen Adrien less than three times his whole life.
Adrien smirked and removed his sunglasses, and they disappeared from his palm, entering his storage.
"AGARES! what do you think you're do-", he screamed but before he could finish his sentence.
Adrien slapped him again, "I hear you, no need to shout!"
This slap was different. Riser actually felt it. Normally, even if his limbs were blown off, he would not feel much because his regeneration would kick-in and start healing him Immediately. But this time was not the same, Riser's eyes widened in shock when he realized his flames were not healing him.
"No need to try, I fed you a poison that cuts the power line between points," Adrien grinned, "and no demonic power means no healing right?"
Adrien pressed his thumb against Riser's eye and screwed it in, blood exploded outward.
Kluuuk!
"AAAAAAARRGHHH!", Riser's screams tore through the forest. Blood poured out of his eye and covered his face.
"So loud", Adrien closed Riser's mouth by throwing in it a large amount sand, "you should have kept my sister's name out of your fucking mouth".
Riser's face contorted in agony, he was gagging again and again, his face was red and his remaining eyes was filled with tears.
"John, get the hummus", Adrien chuckled to himself.
'It might have been a good idea though'.
Adrien gathered demonic power in his fist then slammed it on Riser's face.
BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!
Riser's face was covered in blood, his nose was bent inwards, his front teeth were gone and his right cheek was caved in, his right eye was gone too. Adrien had controlled his power to not kill, he just wanted him to suffer. Splashes of Riser's blood hit his face, he used his thumb to remove the bits that came near his mouth. Then Adrien spat on his face.
"Filthy".
"AaAaaAagggHhhhH", His scream was weak and choked out, tears and snot fell down his face.
"I think this is enough!", a serious voice sounded from behind him.
Adrien glanced behind him and saw Grayfia in her French maid outfit. Despite her words and tone, her expression was neutral.
"Yeah I think so too, did Lord Sirzechs enjoy the show?" Adrien knew that Sirzechs could have intervened and stopped before he had injured Riser too severely. But, apparently, Sirzechs Lucifer had other plans.
Then a huge magic circle appeared mid air and teleported the remaining players and Adrien out of the dimension.
Adrien found himself back in back in the student council.
'So you return from where you entered.'
That means Rias should be in her clubroom right now. Adrien looked around the room, there was vomit on Saji's clothes and bits of his lunch on the table and the floor, he was still gagging while looking downwards.
'If that's enough to make you react like that, you've got a really long way to go'.
Tsubaki's face was pale, and Sona was still frowning while looking at the at the wall where the holographic screen.
Adrien didn't say anything, he knew that what he did was too much. Riser's face was totally deformed and they had probably watched Adrien torture him. Everyone had.
He walked toward the clubroom door when he felt someone tug on his shirt. He turned around and saw Sona staring at his burned arm while avoiding his eyes. Without saying a word, she gently placed her hands on his arm, and a soft green light began to heal the burns. Adrien was not really in pain, since his pain tolerance was much higher than something like that, but he was still a little surprised by Sona's actions.
After she finished, she turned back and walked toward her servants.
"Thanks, Sona". Adrien said, but she didn't respond, just nodded.
And that was how the nickname, 'the mad devil' was born.

By the time Adrien got back to his apartment, it was around three in the morning. He took a shower, washing Riser's blood from his face and hands. When he was done, he snapped his fingers and put on a pair of underwear. That was how he usually slept.
Just as he was about to hop in bed.
Knock Knock Knock
Adrien walked to the door and looked through hole, he could only see blonde hair, but the person was too short and too close to the door . He opened the door and found Mahiru standing outside. She was pouting for some reason.
"It's three in the morning you know?"
"I know, but I don't care. Where were you? When I knocked in the evening, you weren't home. Then you came back in the middle of the night."
With every question, Mahiru moved a little closer to him. Even while standing on her tiptoes, she still had to look up at him. Then Adrien lowered his head until their faces were only an inch apart. Mahiru's ears turned red. She quickly lowered her head, ran into his living room, and hid her face behind a pillow. Adrien let out a small laugh. After the conversation they had a few days ago, the two of them had become much closer.
Adrien walked in, the light's were still off. "If you come into a man's room in the middle of the night like that, he might get the wrong idea." He approached her and whispered in her ear.
She jumped in surprise after Adrien's breath tickled her ear. He then patted her head softly, Adrien had discovered that Mahiru like that for some reason.
Mahiru let out a muffled groan, her face was still hidden.
Then, all of a sudden a magic circle formed in the middle of the room and flashed a bright light through the room, Mahiru lifted her head, her eyes widened and her mouth opened slightly in surprise.
A bespectacled woman with pale green hair appeared as the flash in the room dimmed.
"Am I interrupting something?", she asked as her eyes met her brother's.
"Yeah, you are, come back tomorrow."
"I won't take long," she said. Then, with a flick of her fingers, the lights turned on.
Mahiru's eyes opened even wider as she watched Seekvaira sit on a sofa.
"Well... you did cause a lot of trouble, but I'm not here to talk about that today. We'll talk about it once we fully know the results of what you did"
Adrien didn't respond he just looked at Mahiru who was a few seconds away from losing it, Seekvaira then noticed her reaction and her eyes widened slightly.
"Wait she doesn't know?"
"Now she does I guess, well it was going to be sooner or later." Adrien leaned in toward her, "hey earth to Mahiru, earth to Mahiru are you still with us".
Mahiru slowly turned to Adrien. "Hey, Adrien... am I dreaming?" she asked. Mahiru's mind decided that the most logical answer to the current situation was that she was dreaming.
"No you're actually fully awake." Seekvaira answered.
Adrien grabbed her head and rested it on his lap. "Just sleep, I'll explain everything tomorrow." Mahiru reluctantly rested her head on his lap. Then he casted a spell and she fell asleep instantely.
'Such a pain, I wanted to reveal it in a flashier way'
"Why are you so close to a normal human?", Seekvaira asked.
"Why not? she's nice, she cooks for me and is an eye candy."
"But you knew you couldn't hide it from her for too long".
"Sure, but I was waiting for her sacred gear to awaken by surrounding her with demonic power bit by bit."
"She's a sacred gear bearer?"
"Yeah, and I think It's a powerful one. And someone just happened to ruin what I was planning"
"You could just erase her memory of tonight and continue with that plan of yours," She suggested.
"Nah, I don't want to do that to a future servant of mine."
"You're surprisingly kind-hearted despite what you did to Riser"
Adrien stayed silent for a second, "he shouldn't have made fun of you."
Seekvaira's smile widened, "So you did that for me?"
"Why else would I dirty myself with this asshole"
Seekvaira then walked toward Adrien and sat next to him and started ruffling his hair.
"Hey, stop that!", Adrien said as he tried flick her hand away, "why didn't you put him in his place back then anyway."
"I'm not you, Andy. Maybe I could beat him but not this easily and not without causing damage to the surroundings, we were in Rias's territory."
Adrien sighed, "you're becoming a political freak like dad".
"Well someone has to take his place one day".
"Yeah I'll leave that to you."
They stayed silent for a while, Seekvaira was in a good mood, "Dad wants you to come back" she said."
"Nah, I'm staying here, other than Mahiru there's two other students with potential. One of them seems especially cunning and well connected too". Other than Mahiru, Saeko Busujima and Sakayanagi Arisu were both on his radar. Even though the latter seemed very weak, Adrien could tell that her mind was incredible, maybe on the same level as Sona.
"So this is what you're using?"
"Yeah, dad wouldn't interrupt me from looking for pieces, he would never interrupt his son's growth".
"Yeah, he wouldn't".
Seekvaira decided that was enough for today. She was just happy that she had finally found him. Deep down, she was also a little happy that he had stood up for her, since Adrien rarely showed that he cared. It felt like she had seen a new side of him.
She stood up and walked to the middle of the room. A magic circle appeared under her feet. She looked at her younger brother and gave him a warm smile.
"Thank you, Andy"
Adrien smiled, "Shut up and do it yourself next time."
