Adrien shot toward the place where he felt the sudden spike of energy. He did not bother flying around the buildings, he simply smashed straight through them and kept going.
Adrien landed violently on an undead creating a small crater, and looked around him. He then instinctively ducked and a huge axe cut the air above him.
BAM!
Adrien twisted his body and slammed a powerful strike into the enemy that had attacked him. The creature was sent flying backward, crashing through a building and bursting out the other side. Adrien looked through the hole it had made and finally saw it clearly, it was a towering monster nearly four meters tall, its body stitched together from undead limbs. It had no head. One of its arms was shaped like a long blade, while the other looked like a massive axe.
The hole in it's stomach that had appeared from Adrien's punch closed by itself.
"The fuck is that?", Adrien tilted his head, he'd never seen or heard of anything like that before.
Then DNA by Kendrick Lamar suddenly started playing out of nowhere.
"I got, I got, I got, I got, realness, I just kill shit...", Adrien sang along as the monster charged at him, its blade-like arm thrusting straight forward.
"Wait a minute," Adrien said, raising one hand. In the next instant, both of the monster's legs were severed, and it crashed forward, sliding across the ground. He then pulled his phone from his pocket, glanced at the screen, and saw Sona calling. He answered.
"Adrien, Undead are flooding in from Tokyo, they reached Kuou! Where are you!"
"Sona how are you! short time no see. Right now I'm fighting some sort of chimera made from zombie legs and hands, and has an axe and swords instead of arms".
"..."
"Don't worry I'll deal with it, but send some back up to all cities next to Tokyo and inform Sirzechs Lucifer", Adrien ended the call.
The monster's legs grew back, and it slowly stood up again, but this time it did not attack. It seemed to understand that the person standing in front of it was far more terrifying than it was.
"So where's your boss?"
The monster stayed still for a moment. Then, without warning, limbs burst out of the ground behind Adrien. They twisted together and fused, quickly forming two more monsters. In an instant, Adrien was surrounded.
"Called your friends? As if it's going to help you".
The monsters towered over Adrien as he stood calmly in the middle of their triangle formation. Then all three rushed at him at high speed. Adrien shot toward the one in front of him. It thrust its blade arm forward and swung its axe upward at the same time. Adrien flew over both attacks. Demonic power gathered in his hand, and he drove a punch into the spot where its head should have been. The monster burst apart into a mass of limbs. Adrien landed on the ground but didn't have time rest.
The shadow of a huge axe came down at him from above, but Adrien calmly raised one hand and caught it.
BOOOM!
A massive shockwave burst through the area. Windows all along the street shattered, and broken glass rained down from the buildings. A crater formed beneath Adrien, and dust burst into the air. Adrien tightened his fist, and the axe shattered in his grip.
Adrien raised his other hand. "Dismantle."
Whoosh!
In the next instant, the monster was split in half vertically. Adrien snickered, "that shit is so cool!"
Dismantle was not a normal demonic slash. A regular demonic slash was just a simple blade of demonic power, so it could still be dodged. Adrien changed that. He compressed the slash until it became incredibly thin, but kept the same force behind it. Then he used demonic energy to push it forward at terrifying speed. That was what made it truly dangerous.
Most devils believed mass mattered more, but Adrien understood that speed was the real key. After all, kinetic energy is based on half the mass times velocity squared. In simple terms, increasing speed made the attack far more deadly than just making it heavier.
So he gathered demonic energy behind the slash, then released it outward like an explosion to launch the attack forward and make it accelerate even faster.
He of course got the Idea and the name from JJK, Sukuna's dismantle was almost instantaneous after all. A demonic core fell from the monster's split body and rolled across the ground. It had been cut in half. A moment later, the monster slowly began to turn to dust.
"So when you cut it's core it can't regenerate again."
Adrien's wings flapped once, and he shot toward the third monster at incredible speed. To anyone watching, it looked like a black flash passed straight through it. In an instant, Adrien had pierced its body and ripped its core apart from the inside.
Green liquid fell from the creature, it had an absolutely disgusting stench. Then slowly turned to dust.
"Huh, why did the other one not have that green vomit?", Adrien shrugged, maybe it was an incomplete one.
The first monster, the one that had exploded into pieces, started putting itself back together. But before it could fully reform, Adrien used Dismantle and cut its core in half.
Adrien stood in the middle of the street and brushed the dust off his clothes. Suddenly, a car was thrown at him. Adrien simply waved his hand, and the car was cut cleanly in half. The two halves flew past him, one to each side.
Boom!
Each half struck struck a shop by the side of the roads.
Adrien looked forward and clicked his tongue. Around thirty cars were floating in the air. Flying beneath them was a ghostly pale creature. She had long, thin white hair that reached all the way to her feet, and a single crimson eye in the middle of her forehead. Dark antlers rose from her head like dead tree branches, with red flowers blooming on them. Her hands were black, and long sharp claws extended from her fingers. The boss had come searching for Adrien itself, it saved him the trouble to go search for it.
"I figured it would be something like this," Adrien said, "But what is a Mother Licht doing in the human world? No wonder it's demonic power was vanishing instantely, these shits have amazing control over their leakage"
Mother Lichts were high-ranking Lichts. They were intelligent creatures with strong telekinesis, necromancy, and far greater abilities than normal Lichts.
Mother Lichts were considered on the same level as peak High-class devils and were already very rare in the underworld.
Screaaaachhh!
The Licht let out a sharp screech and sent the cars flying at Adrien at high speed. Adrien shot straight toward her, gathering demonic energy in his hands.
Slap!
He brought his hands together with tremendous force. A powerful shockwave burst forward in a single direction, striking the cars and sending them flying back toward the Mother Licht.
She instantly raised both arms and created a telekinetic barrier. It appeared as a glowing hexagonal grid in the air. The cars hit the barrier but did no damage to it.
Adrien shot toward her again at incredible speed and slammed his fist into the barrier. The point where his punch landed exploded, and the Mother Licht's eye widened in shock. Adrien raised his other hand, ready to finish her with Dismantle, but at that exact moment, beams of fire shot at him from above and below.
ROOOAAR!
Adrien lunged backward as he dodged the fire beams by a hair's breadth.
"And that's why Mother Lichts are so annoying to deal with, ladies and gentlemen,"
Then he watched as two wyverns charged straight at him. Both of them were completely black, with a faint red color under their wings, and two horns rose from their heads.
Adrien shot upwards, the wyverns flapped their wings causing powerful shock-waves and followed him. Adrien stopped his ascent then shot downward again, the best way to deal with wyverns was to not deal with them at all. Adrien could kill them, but it would be a pain in the ass. He just needed to kill the mother Licht and all the undead and wyverns would disappear.
Then, right in front of his eyes, a third wyvern burst out of the ground. Earth and broken concrete exploded upward, forcing its way out in one violent motion before shooting straight at Adrien. "That's some Skyrim shit right here!".
Wyvern scales were extremely tough, but their weak points were the stomach and the lower part of their neck. Adrien's wings flapped, and he sped up even more. The wyvern opened its mouth and fired a beam of flames at him. Adrien twisted his body in midair, slipped around the attack, and flew straight toward the softer skin beneath its scales.
Adrien used the fact that they were flying in opposite directions and turned that momentum to his advantage. He drove forward, piercing the wyvern through the neck, then dragged his bamboo sword across its body. The blade, strengthened with demonic power, cut all the way down to its lower stomach before finally breaking.
ROOAAR!
It was enough. The wyvern died on the spot, but its body had not fully disappeared yet, it crashed into the closest of the two wyverns chasing Adrien and slowed it down.
Adrien flapped his wings again and sped up even more. In less than half a second, he appeared in front of the Mother Licht. He broke through her barrier, grabbed her by the face, and kept diving downward before slamming her straight into the ground.
SCREACHHHH! BOOOOMM!
The impact sent shock-waves through the whole district. Then, with one dismantle her head rolled from her body and she died on the spot. The wyvern that was just about to swallow Adrien whole turned to dust mid air. Silence fell on the battlefield.
"That was easy enough," Adrien cracked his neck, he watched as all the undead around him fell to the ground, turning to dust.

Inside Seijo-high, just as Mahiru, Saeko and the others were about to face the last horde of undead. They suddenly fell on the ground and turned to dust.
"What! Is it over?", Takashi said in astonishment.
"Wasn't this supposed to be the kind of story where the world falls apart, quarantine zones and bunkers are built, the military takes control, and people survive in rough cities cut off from everything outside? Then a girl shows up who is somehow immune, so we go on a long journey to bring her to a research team so they can make a cure. But in the end, I save her because making that cure would cost her life?", a fat guy with glasses said, he had joined them at some point.
Mahiru sighed a sigh of relief, she just wanted to see Adrien now. Saeko looked at Mahiru, this first year girl had really saved their asses, but she knew that her captain, Adrien, that dealt with the outbreak. She still remembered the four pairs of wings on his back.
'So he's one of them, why am I not surprised?' she thought.
The whole group surrounded Mahiru and started asking her questions about her sudden power, she tried to answer their question without hinting at Adrien. Might as well tell them since everything went to chaos anyways.

In Kuou academy, Rias and Sona watched as all the undead around them started to turn to dust.
Rias sighed, "there's gonna be so much work!"
"Yeah, it's going to be a pain in the ass".
There were no casualties at Kuou Academy, unlike at Seijo High, because there were far more devils there to protect the area.
But the amount of work needed to hide what had happened will be tremendous.

The fights might seam short but don't forget that Adrien IS an ultimate-class devil, so it doesn't make sense that the fight drags out. when he will fight opponents on his level the fights will be much longer.
