Mahiru yawned as she slowly opened her eyes, she was in Adrien's bed again.
'Ah, I made him sleep on the sofa again!', she thought to herself.
Suddenly she felt something twitch to her right, she looked to her side and saw a boy sleeping next to her, he had nothing but his underwear on.
"W-What?!" She flinched and stumbled backward until she reached the edge of the bed. Sitting up, she stared at Adrien's sleeping form. He hadn't slept in the living room. He had slept next to her.
'W-w-why is he here? No that's his bed and It was my fault to fall asleep in his house again b-but...'
She crawled toward him slowly, trying to not wake him up.
Mahiru stared at his face, "He looks cute when he's sleeping...". She poked his cheek gently, and giggled to herself. Then her gaze travelled from his face to his body, her face became red.
She ran her finger lightly across his abdomen, tracing the lines of his abs. Her breath started getting heavier and heavier and she started touching his muscles, his chest, his arms, his core. Her gaze shifted to his crotch, she immediately used her other hand to stop herself.
"Have you finished inspecting me doctor?"
"E-Eeek! N-no I wasn't doing anything weird!!". She immediately hid under the blanket.
Adrien chuckled, he expected she would become bolder. She's a devil now and devils are way freakier than normal humans. He knew some terrifying devils that couldn't live without sex for one day.
"Want me to pretend I'm still asleep?" he asked, clearly teasing her. Mahiru let out an embarrassed groan and stayed hidden under the blanket.
After a while, Mahiru finally came out from under the blanket, though she still avoided Adrien's eyes as he kept teasing her without stop.
They ate breakfast, got dressed in their school uniforms, and Adrien teleported both of them to the kendo club dojo. He had already placed a magic circle there so he would not need to walk to school every day.
"My Pawn and personal maid will be moving in with us tomorrow. Her name is Lynn, so try to get along with her, alright? She's one of us, which means she's your teammate and your ally."
"Wait, there's another member? I'm not the first one?", Mahiru seemed weirdly saddened by the news.
"Yeah, I met her three years ago as I was illegally touring the underworld, her parents were killed by a High-ranked demonic beast that suddenly attacked their village, even though her parents weren't really that strong, she had a knack for demonic power and her control was excellent, so I saved her and made her my pawn."
After hearing her story, Mahiru felt deeply sorry for her. Even someone like Mahiru, who did not really understand parental love, thought it would be painful to see parents die so suddenly. So for a girl who truly loved her parents, it must have been absolutely heartbreaking.
Mahiru looked at Adrien. "You didn't just take her in because you saw her potential. You also did it because you felt bad for her, right?" She smiled softly. Adrien looked away at once, but Mahiru could tell he was only trying to hide it. He always acted like he did not care, yet she already knew that was not true.
Adrien walked and took a bamboo sword in his hand and it disappeared in a swirling vortex.
"Whoa! what's that? where did it go?"
"I put it in a dimensional storage, I'll teach you how to make your own sometime."
Mahiru became really excited, a dimensional storage would be extremely handy.

Adrien was sitting in his class bored out of his fucking mind.
'Why the fuck do I have to watch that shit again? Ahh yeah, attendance. Fucking slavery.'
Suddenly, the classroom door burst open. The boy who walked in was Adrien's classmate, Takashi Komuro. He was of average height, with brown eyes and spiky black hair. Without hesitation, he headed straight toward the girl sitting behind Adrien, Rei Miyamoto. She was a curvy girl with orange-brown hair that reached her waist, tied back in a small ponytail behind her head.
"Couldn't just skip class, could you? You also have to disturb others learning environment too!", the teacher snapped.
'What's up with him?'
Takashi grabbed Rei's arm and jerked her up from her seat, "Come on, we're getting out of here!"
"W-what!"
"What's going on Takashi?" Hisashi Igou, Rei's boyfriend asked as he approached Takashi.
"Some people at the school gate just got killed. It's too dangerous to stay here."
Murmurs erupted throughout the classroom.
'Huh, some people died outside? How? There was no shooting, nor did I sense any weird energy'.
"Seriously?" Hisashi asked, slightly taken aback.
"What do I gain from lying about it."
"Back up!" Rei shouted and freed her arm from his grip, "I never understand what you are thin—"
Slap!
Takashi suddenly slapped the shit out of Rei.
'Damn boy! The feminists gone have your head on a stake by tomorrow morning. But really, what's going on, I need to check it out.'
"Shut up and listen!"
Adrien stood up from his seat, "Calm down Takashi, tell us what you saw".
Takashi turned to Adrien, his voice a little shaky. "I don't know… someone was trying to get into the school. The PE teacher went over to talk to him, but then that guy suddenly bit him. After that, the teacher got back up and started attacking the people around him."
"What!"
"No way, isn't that like a zombie!"
The class erupted even more, everyone was losing their cool.
'Undead? they ain't that dangerous, but they spread fast. Though why are they appearing here, this is not good at all, what a drag!'
Adrien rushed out of the classroom, and a few of his classmates followed right behind him. As he ran through the hallway, he pulled out his phone, tapped Sona's number, and called her. He needed to know how far this had spread. The problem with the undead was that they had no real energy or power, so Adrien could not sense them. He couldn't get to Sona, there was no line.
He sighed, then headed to Mahiru's class. He swung the door open.
Everyone's eyes turned to him, including Mahiru. "Everyone stay in the class, Mahiru protect them with everything you got, use your sacred gear if need be."
Mahiru's eyes widened, "Wait what's happening, and I don't know how to use it!". Mahiru started panicking.
"Undead are spreading everywhere, they ain't strong, trust your instinct and use your power".
As soon as he closed the door again, the class erupted in screams as everyone crowded the windows to see what was going on outside.
"If undead are appearing, that means some kind of necromancer is summoning them. I've been too careless. I should have followed the energy I sensed yesterday."
Four pairs of wings spread from his back, he then felt a presence behind him. He turned around and saw Saeko staring at him wide eyed.
"Adrien..."
"I'll explain later, protect your class", Adrien flew out of the window rapidly and shot upward cutting through the sky. Below him, the world had fallen into complete chaos, with smoke rising and fires burning everywhere.
"Fuck sake! I'll tear you to shreds", as he was about to fly toward the city, a pink barrier spread out, engulfing the school. It was shaped like a half sphere with the ground as it's base.
Adrien smirked and shot toward the city at high speed.

A minute earlier.
Inside Mahiru's classroom, screams filled the air as her classmates saw the undead surrounding the school. They were already at the gate, trying to break it down and force their way inside.
Mahiru trembled in fear, not knowing what to do. It had not even been 24 hours since her reincarnation, and she was already trapped in a situation like this.
"Aaaaaarghhh!", a scream came out of the hallway, Mahiru peeked out of her classroom and her eyes widened. She gagged.
On the ground, an undead was crouched over a fallen student munching on his intestines. She recoiled in horror. Then a figure burst past her. Saeko Busujima rushed at the undead and slashed at its neck, knocking it off balance, before driving her sword into its throat with all her strength.
"Busujima-senpai!"
Another undead came up the stairs. Saeko stepped in and brought her sword down toward its head, but a hand suddenly shot out from under the staircase and grabbed her leg, throwing off her balance. The undead in front of her opened its mouth and lunged at her, and she quickly raised her wooden sword to hold it back, blocking it's mouth.
Mahiru realized that if she did not help Saeko, she would die. Instinct took over, and Mahiru sprinted forward without thinking. She was already athletic, but with the boost from her demonic power, she moved even faster now.
She lunged and kicked the hand that was grabbing Saeko's leg, now free Saeko pushed the zombie back, she freed her sword and swung at it's neck, the undead was knocked out and Saeko finished it off.
"Busujima-senpai!" a voice called out from above them. Takashi, Rei, who was crying uncontrollably, and Saya Takagi came rushing down the stairs until they reached Mahiru and Saeko.
Clang!
"Shit! It must be the gates, they're flooding in!", Takashi shouted, "Have you seen Adrien, he was just with us when he disappeared?"
"Eum...", Mahiru didn't know what to tell them.
"I saw him running outside the school, but he's very strong, so there's no need to worry about him." Mahiru looked at Saeko for a moment and could tell she was obviously lying. She did not know what had happened between the two of them, but it was clear Saeko was hiding what she had seen for Adrien's sake.
"He is?" It was Saya Takagi who asked.
"Yes, but we have no time to think about that," Saeko said as she pointed to other end of the hallway, tens of undead had entered school through the main entrance.
'there's too many, we're gonna die'. Mahiru thought, she was trembling. Then she remembered what Adrien told her, 'trust you instinct and use your power'.
The group tightened their grips on their makeshift weapons and got ready to fight. Mahiru stepped forward, drawing everyone's attention. She grabbed the silver bracelet on her wrist with her other hand and shouted, "Sacred Gear, give me strength!"
She poured all of her demonic power into the bracelet. At once, the pink jewels set into the silver band lit up one after another, shining like small stars. A soft pink sphere then erupted outward from her body, expanding in a heartbeat until it covered the entire area around them. The zone looked almost like a transparent bubble, its surface shimmering with layers of pale pink light. Everyone's eyes widened in shock as they felt their tired bodies grow lighter and their strength return.
"What is that?", Takashi clenched his hand in a fist, he felt incredibly refreshed.
Saeko closed her grip on the hilt of her sword and dashed forward, her speed and strength had skyrocketed, she thrusted her sword and pierced an undead's throat in one move, blood exploded outward. Her eye's widened.
"Whatever that first-year girl did, she not only made us stronger, but weakened them too. We can take them on!" she shouted.
And just like that, the battle to defend the school began.

Adrien flew through the city at high speed.
Screams echoed through the city, some were running on the streets, some were hiding in their cars, some trying to fight back.
"What the fuck is going on, what kind of Idiot would expose the supernatural world like that?"
The problem was that he could barely sense them, which meant they had incredible control over their energy leakage. That alone put them at least on the higher end of High-class.
Adrien stopped mid air. He used his demonic power to shut off his five senses, then poured a huge amount of power into a devil's sixth sense, the ability to detect demonic energy. He spread his senses outward until he felt a small spike of demonic power.
"Caught you motherfucker", Adrien's wings flapped and he shot toward him.
