His voice was low… but possessive.
"I'm not yours…" she whispered, though her voice trembled.
Rayan smirked and leaned closer.
So close… their breaths mixed.
"Then convince yourself of that."
His fingers gently lifted her chin.
Roshni tried to look away… but she couldn't.
Their eyes locked.
A strange pull…
Like she was falling into danger willingly.
"You're dangerous…" she murmured.
Rayan leaned near her ear.
"And yet… you can't stay away."
Her body shivered.
Her heartbeat raced wildly.
For a moment—
Everything stopped.
Just them…
And that forbidden tension.
Suddenly—
A gunshot echoed in the distance.
Rayan's eyes changed instantly.
The softness vanished… replaced by darkness.
He let go of her.
"Stay away from me…"
Roshni stood frozen.
Rayan paused at the door.
"Because I can love deeply… but I can destroy even more."
And then he left.
The room fell silent again.
But Roshni's heart wasn't calm anymore.
His presence still lingered…
And one question remained—
Who is he really… and why is it so hard to stay away from him?
