6 months had passed since the defeat of Emperor Narcis III in Yardrat and
the destruction of his empire but a new evil had begun to rear its head it had
positioned itself to both Emperor Taipei in the Demon Realm and Zargos in Hell
who both agreed to aid the being to get revenge against Daniel, Ebisu and Ungar in
the case of Demon Emperor Taipei. But when it approached Zargos III who was
living in an ancient Chinese Taoist temple but unlike Taipei and Zargos he refused
the dark being's offer and so concerned by this turn of events he actually decided to
make a deal with the Wind God, Ebisu. Meanwhile on Helios the Imperial Yardrat
Martial-Arts Tournament was commencing something that occurred every 4 years.
The tournament was an old one going back at least 250 years. And all of the
contestants had signed up. The first match was between Sun-Wukong Jr. and a
giant pig-man named Hamma, the second match was between Zaiyal and Daniel,
the third match was between Ponchow and Mr. Bear's old friend who simply went
by "Pasta Man," who was a gnome who stepped in as Mr. Bear had a stomach-ache
and the final match was between Sarai and a mysterious foreigner by the name of
Akira. This was only the first set of fights as there would be nine more rounds and
the winners of each of the ten rounds would compete in the finals. The first fight
was between Jr. and Hamma. The announcer began to speak; "Alright Yardrattians
give it up in the left corner of the arena we have the legendary son of the legendary
Monkey Kong Sun-Wukong himself give it up for Sun-Wukong Jr. and on the left
corner of the arena give it up for the champion of Northern Yardrat Martial-Arts
Academy the Pig-Man HAMMA!!!!! Alright guys lets have a nice clean fight!"
Hamma was a giant; he had to be at least 8 feet tall. He resembled a large fat
humanoid pig. Hamma began broke the tension; "Well aren't you adorable; I'll
make sure to go easy on you okay Monkey!" said Hamma. "Why would you go
easy on me? This is a martial arts Tournament?!" said Jr. YAHAHAHA!!!!! You
crack me up kid!!!!" said Hamma. After this the battle began but it ended as soon
as it began as Jr. had kicked Hamma out of the ring to the shock of everyone
including Jr. "Wait, did I win?!" said Jr. "Unbelievable, Jr. wins!!!" Hamma
approached Jr. after the match; "PLEASE MONKEY YOU HAVE TO TEACH ME
YOU'RE MARTIAL-ARTS TECHNIQUES!!!!!" said Hamma. "Sure I can teach
you. Its just what Pigsy and Sandy taught me on Flower and Fruit Mountain and
just call me Jr." said Jr. "Jr. Okay! Jr. it is!" said Hamma. The next match was
between "Pasta-Man," and the young Shaolin-Buddhist monk Pon-Chow. "Watch
out little Buddhist! In another life I was an MMA fighter!! You might as well quite
right now! There's a reason people refer to me as the Dark Lord!" said the idiot,
"Pasta Man." The battle began and it was over just like the other one as soon as it
began with Pon-Chow as the winner. "Unbelievable the young Buddhist monk
Pon-Chow defeat Pasta-Man. Hopefully our next battle will go on just a little bit
longer," said the announcer. The third match was between Zaiyal and Daniel. The
fight began and unlike the first two it was no each match. Zaiyal and Daniel
continued to fight for what was atleast 30 minutes until finally just barely Daniel
was able to knock Zaiyal out of the ring. The fight was over and finally the round
between Sarai and the mysterious figure Akira. "Who is this guy?! Something
about him seems strange," thought Sarai. "There's something off about him he
doesn't seem like he's a mere mortal. Wait a minute it can't be." Just before the
fight began Sarai yelled out; "I forfeit!" The crowd was in shock. "You forfeit?"
said the Announcer. "That's right." Said Sarai. After this Zaiyal began to mock
Sarai. "How can you call yourself a warrior after that Wolf! You gave up without
any effort." Said Zaiyal. "You don't understand. I felt something before I fought
him. He's not a mortal, I can tell you that much." Said Sarai. The next match was
between Pon-Chow who forfeited immediately and then Jr. who also forfeited
immediately and now the final match of round 1 was between Daniel and this
mysterious figure. Just before the battle began. "I know you are the new Gate
Keeper, Daniel." Said the man. "H-how do you know that?!" said Daniel. "Forgive
me but I have been watching your progress this entire time. My name is 'Akira!'
said the man. "Akira?!" said Daniel. "Yes, Akira. I am the son of the Wolf Demon
King and the heir of the Demon Clan. I have my own blade, the Shadow Blade and
I believe if we work together we can defeat the upcoming threat." Said Akira.
"Upcoming threat?! Ebisu told us about this. What do you know? I know what the
Wind God has told me he is the one who requested my aid as he knows I inherited
this powerful weapon from my father. You see, I'm a student of Ebisu. I was taught
by him to become the warrior I am today because my father, the Wolf King, died
when I was very young," said Akira. "I will be attending Yardrat University with
all of you for the next several years. I hope that's not a problem. But we must
forfeit the match now. Ebisu needs us to head to the Wind Palace right now Ungar
and the others are already waiting there you need to tell your friends." Said Akira.
After this Daniel got his friends together and they all headed off to the Wind Palace
with everyone else and eventually they reached the Wind Palace and were met by
someone they did not initially expect. It was Narcis III. "What is that tyrant doing
here?! He has no business being in the Sacred Wind Temple!" said Zaiyal. "He's
here because he warned me of an imminent evil that approached him for an
alliance that he refused." Said Ebisu. "HE'S PROBABLY LYING!!!! I don't trust a
word out of that brute's mouth." Said Zaiyal. "ENOUGH!!!!!! I'm just as cautious
of accepting aid from Narcis as you Zaiyal probably even more so as I confronted
his grand-father but we should hear him out first. Narcis why did you come to the
Wind Palace and I'll tell you this once speak honestly." Said Ungar. After this there
was a long pause until finally Narcis began to speak to the heroes. "I'll be
completely honest with you I'm here because I'm afraid of this creature. I believe it
wants to conquer this world and was just using me as some kind of pawn in its little
game. From what it told me it already recruited Emperor Taipei, Zagros and
countless other tyrants to its cause." Said Narcis. "Zagros is alive?! How is that
even possible?!" said Sarai now in terror. "It reached him through Hell." Said
Ebisu. "No, it can't be." Said Sarai. "I'll be upfront I did not have any change of
heart I still detest the Elf, that Monkey and the rest of you for foiling my plans of
world conquest. But that being said; I'm no fool. I'm not ignorant of the fact that I
can't defeat this being alone and that I'll need to work with all of you to defeat
him. But don't think I've changed my ways in the slightest. As soon as this threat is
neutralized I'll take out the rest of you and conquer this entire world myself!" said
Narcis. "And when you do we'll be ready to stop you!" said Daniel. "In the
meantime. Evil seems to be weak but it grows stronger. I would estimate that in
about 4 years time this darkness will make its move and you all need to prepare for
when that happens. Ungar. You will be responsible for training Narcis in the
magical arts. The rest of you I expect to practice in your own time. Make sure the
faculty at Yardrat University understands that Ungar will be working with Narcis
for the next four years and will be taking an extended break. In the meantime, I
brought an old student of mine to attend Yardrat University with you; he is here to
train all of you for battle when the time finally comes. His name is Akira. I know it
is Summer Break but make sure to get him accustomed to both your social lives and
your school life when your final years of University begin. It is time you all go now.
Me, Ungar and Narcis will see you in four years time. Good luck my children!"
said Ebisu. After this Daniel, Akira and the rest headed back to Helios. They
arrived at Zaiyal's house where Zaiyal's sister Zaiya. Was ready to meet them.
"Hey everybody. Its been so long. Has it been a year already. Oh.... Who are
you???!!!!" said Zaiya. "Uhhhh... my name is Akira. I'm the heir of the Demon
Clan. I'm an old student of Ebisu. I was sent here to help your brother and his
friends prepare for an upcoming battle, ma'am." Said Akira. "Oh what a
gentleman, Akira. But when was the last time you took a bath you stink." Said
Zaiya. "HUH????!!!!!" What?!" said Akira. "Come on I'll show to our shower.
The house is pretty big so I was worried you might get lost." Said Zaiya. "O-okay
then. See all of you afterwards." Said Akira. "Oh and by the way Zaiyal, father
hired some guy to help you train in the future. I'll call him over!" Hey dude!!!
Come over Zaiyal's home!!!" said Zaiya. After this Zaiya showed Akira to the
shower and a man showed up to meet Zaiyal. He was a tall elf with dark hair in a
pony-tail and dressed in traditional Elven armor with a sword he walked over
playing a handheld-gaming device with a lollypop in his mouth. "So you must be
Zaiyal, the name's Igor! I was hired by your father while he's off on business to
help your fighting skills improve." Said Igor. "Oh really... Elf. Tell me Igor what
are your qualifications." Said Zaiyal. "Well nothing besides the fact that I beat
your father in battle." Said Igor. "YOU'RE KIDDING ME!!!!! You defeated my
father?!" said Zaiyal. "Yeah that's why he hired me because I could do a better job
training you than he could." Said Igor. "But don't get anything confused kid, I'm
just doing this for the money if you're pops wasn't writing me a big check every
month I wouldn't be teaching you in the first place." Said Igor. "Why how very
noble of you." Said Zaiyal. After this Zaiya came downstairs. "Oh man that Akira
sure is dreamy! What a hunk." Said Zaiya. Zaiya wasn't wrong Akira was very
attractive he resembled an elf with his ears and long black hair. But he wore some
kind of light armor and of course carried his Shadow Blade. When Akira came
downstairs he was dressed like someone who was going to visit the Gap. "Oh great
you're here.
So what time does the training start tomorrow?" Said Zaiyal. "Training. Oh
no the two months of Summer is gonna be your only time off for the next 10
months. I was given strict orders by your father who insisted that the Wind God
Ebisu said you need 2 months every year to relax. You fought for a while go to the
city go to a mall you're young adults have some fun. I mean tomorrow is the first
day I'm getting paid. A small allowance to keep an eye on you kids the real money
will start to pour in when Summer's over and I start training Zaiyal and the rest of
you." Said Igor. "TWO MONTHS WITHOUT TRAINING?!" said Zaiyal and Sarai
at the same time. "That's right all of your girlfriends showed up because you're
going to the city in a couple of hours. Oh I think they're all here right now." Said
Igor. Just then all of the girls appeared Aquarius, Athena and Atil. Athena grabbed
onto Daniel's arm, Aquarius grabbed onto Zaiyal and Atil onto Sarai. "So you all
have your little girlfriends that's so adorable. I would be jealous but I'm kind of
falling for your new friend Akira. What do you think Igor. Akira's pretty fine isn't
he?!" said Zaiya. "Wait... why are you asking me?!" said Igor. "Well you don't
have a girlfriend so I assumed you were gay." Said Zaiya. "What are you some
kind of Fag-Hag?! NO I'M NOT GAY!!!! I'm just A-Sexual. It's fairly common for
warrior-elves. Honestly the only person I love is myself. If that's gay then I guess
I'm a flaming homosexual." Said Igor. "Got it, you're not gay. You're just a
self-absorbed narcissist. Yeah that's much better," said Zaiya. "I'm not sure about
your attitude, and I wouldn't use the word narcissist but yeah I'm honestly a pretty
cool dude!" said Igor. "My father hired this self-absorbed tool. In 2 months time
you better be worth the money my father is paying you Igor!" said Zaiyal. "Don't
worry kid. I'm the real dead. Hey speaking of that Akira guy. I think he's heading
down." Said Igor. "HE IS?!" said Zaiya. Just then Akira came down the stairs.
Honestly Daniel's thoughts on it were probably the most accurate; he did look like
he just finished trying on clothes at the local GAP.
"You mortals sure have an interesting taste in clothes. I honestly haven't
seen anything like it." Said Akira. "Oh you look adorable. So when guys head out
to the city can I go with you?" said Zaiya. Daniel and the rest said it was alright
and afterwards all of them got dressed up in their Summer Clothes and they stayed
at home playing Video Games for the next two hours and then got ready to visit
Seaside City rather than Yardrat City as it was nicer in the Summer Time in
addition to this Zaiyal and his sister had access to their father's Summer Estate in
Seaside City which was perfect for them to all stay out and it was perfect as there
was lots of books, films, video games and other entertainment and it was always
sunny. It was decided that all of the men being Igor, Daniel, Zaiyal, Sarai,
Pon-Chow and Akira would stay in one room followed by five others who would
be visiting tomorrow being Ungar, Narcis, Mr. Gillum, Mr. Bear and Pasta Man
who would all be staying at Mr. Gillum's Beach House in Seaside City but would
see them from time to time over the next two months of Summer. All of the girls
Zaiya, Athena, Aquarius and Atil would be staying in a second room. By the time
they got to Seaside City and arrived at the Summer Estate everyone was exhausted.
And when they arrived all of the servants at the Solarian Summer Estate took their
things for them and they went upstairs and went to bed before they did in each
room but there was a conversation in each one before the lights went off. Akira
asked a question; "Honestly three of you guys (Daniel, Zaiyal and Sarai), all have
girlfriends. They all come with us for the Summer after all so you three must know
a lot about women. What's going on with Zaiyal's sister, why is she so clingy?"
said Akira. "My sister clearly has the hots for you, you fool! It's as clear as day!"
said Zaiyal. "REALLY???!!!! Well I wouldn't know I haven't had much contact
with females in my life." Said Akira. "It's okay, tomorrow you can sort out how you
feel. In the meantime let's get some sleep. Ungar and the others we'll be meeting us
tomorrow. I gotta say it sucks that Jr. has to train with Pigsy and Sandy on Fruit
and Flower Mountain. It would have been nice to have him hear. But in any event.
We'll see him soon. And Ungar and the others we'll be meeting us at the house
tomorrow so we need to be up bright and early."
Said Daniel. "The Elf is right, let's all get some sleep." Said Sarai. After this
they all went to bed. The only one of the men that had somewhat of a hard time
getting to sleep was Daniel. That night he had a dream of a strange person who
looked like him talking to Ebisu but as soon as it began the dream ended and
Daniel drifted off into REM sleep. The next morning Ungar and the others arrived.
"Well, Narcis glad you could make it! I like the new look!" said Daniel. "I think it
looks dumb I don't have my cape. I had to get a haircut and wear these stupid
sun-glasses. Honestly for my new "master," you really suck Ungar! Why do you get
to wear your armor and your cape?" said Narcis. "Because this is literally my
body. And besides, your old look will just get you in trouble. In public call yourself
Michael by the way people will lose their mind if they hear the name Narcis. Don't
worry you'll get used to it." Said Ungar. "Fine whatever." Said Narcis. "So guys
remember my friend I told you about Pasta-Man A.K.A. Mr. Pasta A.K.A. the Dark
Lord, well here he is. This guy is a genius. He created the incredible PC Video
Game "Warm Stir-Fry," he's written a series of Fantasy Books, a series of Comic
Books, is working on a film based on his Comic Book series and has an IQ of 267.
The guy is incredible." Said Mr. Bear. Mr. Pasta was a gnome who was balding
and had a silly expression on his face. "What you have to understand is. I'm a
genius." Said Pasta-Man. "See what I told you! The guy is an intellectual giant!"
said Mr. Bear. "It's good to see you, Sarai. You really have changed since our time
on my home planet." Said Mr. Gillum. "He sure is Sarai is the best boyfriend ever!
He's really become a different person from that monster who invaded our planet
over a year ago." Said Atil. "Come on babe, not in front of my friends, you're
embarrassing me." Said Sarai. "Well we're all heading to the beach hopefully we'll
all bump into each other again." Said Ungar. "Sounds like a plan." Said Daniel.
After this they split up and Daniel and his friends decided to head to the peer to
play at the Arcade. Igor, Zaiya and Akira came along too and all of them began a
nice and sereen day even as crazy as Zaiyal and Sarai were getting without their
training even though they were enjoying themselves with their girlfriends Aquarius
and Atil. And just as usual Daniel and Athena were just as close as ever while at
the same time Zaiya tried to woo Akira while Igor took the 2 month Summer time
opportunity to be the biggest gluttonest pig as he possibly could and was paired
with the Buddhist-monk Ponchow for the summer who could not believe how
much of slob Igor was. A bright summer had begun before their next year back at
Yardrat University began and they would have to resume their training. They began
the first day of this incredible summer at the Arcade Peer by the Ocean's Coastline
before they would end up heading to the beach but the arcade was first on their list
so they were off.
"Daniel what game is this?!" said Athena. "That's Street Fighter II Turbo
do you wanna play Athena?!" said Daniel. Athena agreed and Daniel and Athena
began to play against each other in Street Fighter. Daniel chose to play as E-Honda
and Athena chose Chun-Li. Meanwhile; Zaiyal find an old arcade cabinet for
Punch-Out!! For the Arcade from 1983 and Aquarius asked if he had ever played
Punch-Out!! "Of course I've played Punch-Out!! My sister is a gamer. I've played
here copies of Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! On the NES. This game will be a piece of
cake." Said Zaiyal. "Whatever you say," big guy. Said Aquarius. "I wonder where
Acon 01 01 01 and Taiping are right now." Said Zaiyal. "You didn't here they're
training with the Monkey King and Jr. on Fruit and Flower Mountain." Said
Aquarius. "Unbelievable, and we're stuck here screwing around while they get
stronger!" said Zaiyal. "Just lighten up and play the game, jeez!" said Aquarius.
"Fine. They're isn't much choice anyway. Lets see. My first apponent is this guy,
the Champion of France, oh this is too easy. This will be a piece of cake!" said
Zaiyal. But as the fight began Zaiyal ended up getting destroyed by the first boxer.
"This is ridiculous. I lost to the first fighter. This game is clearly broken. I'll just
play something else." Said Zaiyal. "Its not broken. The Arcade versions of
Punch-Out!! Are just much harder than the home-console versions. Watch I'll clear
all five fighters." Said Igor. Igor sat down as Pon-Chow, Zaiyal and Aquarius
watched and one after one he defeated all the fighters in Punch Out and finally
defeating the heavy-weight champ. "You see I defeated all the fighters. How about
a two-player game Zaiyal we can call it some early training. How about Mortal
Kombat! Come on theres a machine right there!" said Igor. Igor and Zaiyal sat
down at the Arcade machine and each picked there character. Igor chose Scorpion
and Zaiyal chose Sub-Zero. In the first round Igor's Scorpion absolutely crushed
Zaiyal's Sub-Zero. And this continued round after round, re-match after re-match.
Until Zaiyal was on the verge of blowing a gasket. "That's it for today. I'll teach
you more tomorrow." Said Igor. "Are you gonna be okay Zaiyal." Said Aquarius.
"I'll be fine let's just go fool around in the Bumper-Cars I guess!" said Zaiyal.
"Sounds like a plan." Said Aquarius. Meanwhile; Sarai and Atil were playing
Bubble-Bobble and Zaiya and Akira were playing Dig-Dug. Zaiya was excited to
show Akira her game-collection as she had a large one that was mainly in the
Summer-Estate as she always had to study at their home back in central Yardrat.
Soon though it was time to head to the beach. And they all got into their bathing
suits.
It was a particularly nice day at the beach even for Seaside City. But when
they got home the atmosphere was quite different. After they all entered the room
with the exception of Igor who now had his own private room as their guardian
there was a long silence as everyone began to unwind. But Zaiyal broke that
silence; "Did everyone enjoy their time in the sun today? I do hope you did.
Because Aquarius told me something very interesting earlier today. Do any of you
want to guess what that thing is?" said Zaiyal. "I'm in no mood for Zaiyal games.
Just spill it!" said Daniel. "Taiping and Acon 01 01 01 right now are training in
martial-arts with Sun-Wukong the Monkey King on Fruit and Flower Mountain!"
said Zaiyal. "You're kidding me! Has this all been a ploy to distract us from our
training?!" said Sarai. "Calm down guys. It's only because you're young and
they're older. Ebisu and Ungar are worried the training will strain you if you
practice too much so he decided you would all have 2 months out of the year of
break, i.e. the Summer." Said Akira. "Yeah, and besides we beat them before when
they were our rivals. Now that there are our allies how much could that really
change." Said Daniel. "It seems that the Wolf is the only one of you that has any
sense. Sarai, in the past we didn't always see eye-to-eye but its becoming
increasingly clear to me that you're the only serious member of our group." Said
Zaiyal. "If you're trying to butter-me-up that won't work. Nothing against you, but
that doesn't work on me period." Said Sarai. "I'm well aware of that fact and I'm
not just saying that as a compliment. I'm simply stating facts that is all." Said
Zaiyal. "Well I agree with Zaiyal, his logic is sound. I'm done here! I'm going to
Flower and Fruit Mountain to train the rest of you to stay here and grow weak."
Said Sarai. "Well perfect, I guess we'll be on our merry way." Said Zaiyal. "You
guys can't leave this was an order directly from Ebisu!" said Daniel. "Feel free to
join us anytime you like, you'll know where to find us." Said Zaiyal.
"Oh is that so?" said Igor. Igor burst into the room. "I'll let you leave her
but you have to defeat me first." Said Igor. "I thought there was no training," said
Akira. "I won't tell if you don't let's head down to the Dojo in the Basement and
I'll take on Zaiyal and Sarai at the same time and I promise I'll win." Said Igor.
"You're going to fight both of us and win the battle. That's really some sense of
humor you have there." Said Zaiyal. "I agree. You know we're both powerful
warriors even for our age, it isn't wise to take on more than you can chew." Said
Sarai. "Well lets just see who's on the floor and who will win this fight!" said Igor.
