Finally our heroes returned to Yardrat University. It had been two years since
the great Calamity was predicted by Ebisu. They had two more years left before
this great Calamity would strike. The first to greet each other were Zaiyal and
Daniel. "I heard you trained with the great Maochong. Honestly I couldn't hate
you anymore if I tried Elf!" said Zaiyal. "Come on, Zaiyal, you'll make it to this
point sooner or later." Said Daniel. Zaiyal began to rage internally; "He said I'd
surpass him sooner or later?! This is so humiliating. I was striving to be more
powerful than Ungar, that was my first goal but then this Elf showed up out of
nowhere and now its just been a race to the bottom. I surpassed the Wolf but I was
almost killed by him during our first encounter, the Cyborg and the Demon bested
me, and the Saracen. This cannot stand! I strive to become the greatest warrior to
surpass God himself! I can't do that when this Elf is always one step ahead of me.
It's infuriating." Zaiyal thought. After this Mr. Gillum began to speak; "Well
students I'm sorry to inform you that Mr. Bear and Pon-Chow have transferred.
They've gone to another school along with Mr. Bear's friend Pasta-Man the
Gnome. But they still are in touch with Ungar and the rest so you will be able to
see them from time to time. More importantly, in their place we have two new
students : Gordo the Panda and Tito the Elf. Introduce yourselves." Said Mr.
Gillum. "Uhhh well my name's Gordo I'm a Panda and I love to eat and fight.
That's about it, nice to meet all of you." Said Gordo. Then Tito stepped forward;
"Hi, my name is Tito I'm a Light Elf obviously I have an IQ of 560 so I'm
intelligent I guess but I got kicked out of my last school for slacking off but don't
worry that's not happening this time. I get straight As when I'm not dodging class
and I can talk to you about all that nerd stuff science, history, mathematics etc. if
you want. I'm a pretty-good fighter and I love fart jokes, poop humor, bottom of the
barrel comedy and what else. Oh yeah I'm a Homosexual. Even though I'm not
remotely effeminate I am in fact a Homosexual. Almost forgot about that one." Said
Tito. All the girls jumped up and began to scream like Fag-Hags all of them
Aquarius, Athena and Atil were losing there mind. They took turns saying things
like; "Oh my god do you want to go shopping with us?!" When did you know you
were gay?! Are you a Top or a Bottom?!" said the girls. "I'm not a Top or a
Bottom, I switch and I told you I'm not effeminate." Said Tito. "Well I'm so happy
that you're Gay as can be but I honestly could care less. More importantly how
powerful are you I would like to fight you right here, right now." Said Zaiyal. "First
of all I appreciate being indifferent to Homosexuality and not caring it doesn't
matter girls! And secondly I'm a pretty decent fighter. I'm guessing in an IQ Test
I'd win but in a fight it's not so clear to me, I might bet on you actually." Said Tito.
"No disagreements here you are undoubtedly more intelligent than I am I only have
an IQ of 220 a little over the national-average. But as far as fighting I also would
be bet on myself. I don't think there's any comparison I think you're way
outmatched here." Said Zaiyal.
Daniel was in shock; "Zaiyal said his IQ is 220 like it was nothing; in fact
he said it was only slightly higher than the national-average. How smart are the
people in this world." Thought Daniel."Very well, you don't have to tell me twice."
Said Tito. "Should we stop this?!" said Mr. Gillum. "No let this happen. Trust me
Zaiyal has been through a lot the last couple of years he needs this." Said Ungar.
After this they stepped into the ring and the crowd went silent. And then Zaiyal
lunged forward but Tito jumped out of the way leaving a giant fart cloud. "Why
you little Elf do you dare underestimate a Solarian warrior!" said Zaiyal. After this
Zaiyal began throwing small energy waves as Tito began to pull childish pranks on
Zaiyal throughout the fight. But eventually Tito was actually losing his balance just
as it seemed like it was over for the Light Elf something unexpected happened. Tito
changed his form and took the form of Zaiyal VIII Zaiyal's father and he even had
the same booming voice. "What's the matter son, still can't land a punch on your
old man?" said Tito in the form of Zaiyal VIII. "W-What? F-father?! It can't be
my father. Father I'm..." said Zaiyal. Just then Tito appeared behind Zaiyal and
used his elbow when he was open and pushed him out of the ring. "Sorry I forgot
to tell all of you I'm a shape shifter, it's a pretty rare power among Light Elves so I
got lucky I guess. It looks like you have some daddy issues there Zaiyal, my friend.
Want to talk about it. I'm all ears." Said Tito. "THAT WAS A DIRTY TRICK! How
dare you invoke my father to win a battle that was nothing more than cheating pure
and simple." Said Zaiyal. "I'll level with you even though you probably already
know this but you're much stronger than I am and a better fighter you were about
to win if you didn't freeze up and give me an easy opening I would've lost if I didn't
trick you I didn't stand a chance not in a fair fight anyway." Said Tito. "So you
admit you cheated!" said Zaiyal. "No I didn't cheat, I just exploited a weakness.
Being the strongest physically isn't always enough. You need to be the strongest
emotionally as well. If you don't get your emotions under check you'll continue to
lose to weaker people like me. All over a careless-error. I would sort that big guy
out!" said Tito. "Sorry I'm late everybody, my name's Karzai-Massoud." Said the
Elf. It was an elf that had red hair and a strong build. "Since I'm late I'll introduce
myself my parents died when I was young and I was raised by my Elven
Grandparents I'm only half elf though my father was an Elf and my mother was a
human so I'm like a hybrid. I finally ladies I'm single. If you need a guy to give you
a good squeeze I'm right here for you." Said Karzai. "Oh I did forgot about that my
parents died of an illness when I was very young about 2 years and I was raised
from that point in an orphanage. I guess we have that kind of in common you know
are parents being dead except my parents were both Light Elves I guess that's an
exception, but its basically the same." Said Tito.
"You're also handsome though. So I guess you're my competition for the
ladies." Said Karzai. "Nope, you don't have to worry about me, I'm gay." Said
Tito. "You're gay, AWESOME! That means these chumps have no chance. I'm
gonna get the ladies." Said Karzai. "Actually those three are our boyfriends you
creep!" said Aquarius (pointing to Daniel, Zaiyal and Sarai). "Damn it I'm right
where I started. All well I'll still get some sweet boob grabs in! That's what I live
for!" said Karzai. "You're a freaking pervert, stay away from us you jerk!" said
Atil. "Well this could prove to be quite entertaining, no reason I can't watch the
fireworks." Said Tito. As this was all happening Ungar and Mr. Gillum broke up the
fight between the girls and Karzai. "Come on guys you're going to have to learn
with each other, you're roomates!" said Mr. Gillum. "Yeah we have to inform these
three about the great calamity coming in 2 more years we have room for this
silliness." Said Ungar. "Great Calamity, what's that mean?" thought Tito. All of
this escaped Zaiyal as he was just flooded by internal anger and could not focus on
anything else around him. "How could this be. He admitted it, I'm stronger and
he's objectively weaker but he beat me with a mental trick?! This is unacceptable. I
need to swallow my pride and I need to go see Father!" thought Zaiyal. Just then
Zaiyal took off and put a whole through the ceeling. "ZAIYAL, COME BACK!"
said Aquarius. "We should stop him!" said Daniel. "No he's been like this before
just give him some space." Said Ungar. "Are you sure?" said Daniel. "Positive, he
needs some time to relax and collect his thoughts. It's the best thing for him right
now." Said Ungar. "Did I do this?! Now I kind of feel bad. That's kind of rare for
me how strange..." thought Tito. The rest of the gang got ready for their classes
and a new semester had begun meanwhile Zaiyal was headed towards his father's
estate. Until he finally reached it walking about to one of the maids. "Hey maid, is
my Father home I demand to speak to him!" said Zaiyal. "Certainly he's in his
Dojo I'll take you there," said the Maid. "No need I can get there myself!" said
Zaiyal. Zaiyal entered the Estate and began to walk up the stairs his heart pounding
and his mind racing. But with no sense of fear in his voice as he entered the Dojo
yelled; "FATHER! I'M HOME! I don't care what you say I need to train with you."
Said Zaiyal. Zaiyal VIII turned around slowly. "Hello son, so you've crawled back
to daddy like a child. How pathetic! Its been a while though its been 11 years since
you did this last. What happened?! Something must have broken you if you came
all the way here. What is it? You lose a fight, sweety?!" said Zaiyal VIII. "If you
must know I lost a fight to someone weaker than I am." Said Zaiyal. "Wow that's
hilarious, if he's weaker than why'd you lose son?" said Zaiyal VIII. The
fellow-student was a shape shifter and if you must know he's a shape-shifter. I was
about to win and then he took the form of you and I froze... I left myself wide open
and before I knew it I was out of the ring." Said Zaiyal. "My god you were stronger,
you only lost because you have daddy issues. Honestly son, I would have had no
problem if you lost because the other guy was stronger but you lost because you
have daddy issues. Men lose because their weaker than the other man. Women lose
because they become too emotional and lose their concentration. Can't you just
lose like a man son you always go on about I'm gonna surpass God, I'll be the
greatest warrior of this Universe, honestly I don't care if it happens because you
took your mother away from us!" said Zaiyal VIII. "DO YOU THINK I'M HAPPY
THAT MY BIRTH ENDED MY MOTHER'S LIFE???!!!!! HOW DARE YOU
OLD-MAN????!!!! YOU'RE GOING TO PAY!!!!!!!!" said Zaiyal. "Zaiyal!" said a
voice. It was Ungar. "Stay out of this Ungar I need to do this." Said Zaiyal. "I
agree." Said Ungar. "What?!" said Zaiyal. "You're a man Zaiyal I didn't want to
admit it I was always so worried about you largely due to my curse but this is
what's right. I'll let you fight you're father just promise me this won't destroy you."
Said Ungar. "Fine!" said Zaiyal. "You've always hated me. You blame me for the
fact that my Step-Mother your current-wife is a Whore but you chose her. I'm just
you're scapegoat for everything. Isn't that right, father?! Treating me as a Vermin.
Less than a child. All I wanted was you to be proud of me." Said Zaiyal. "I know
you hoped by becoming the greatest warrior of all time I would forgive you. LET
ME MAKE THIS CLEAR YOU MISTAKE! YOU COULD BECOME THE
GREATEST WARRIOR OF ALL TIME, SURPASS GOD, AND USHER IN
ETERNAL PEACE! I WOULD STILL HATE YOU! I WOULDN'T MATTER TO
ME! BECAUSE YOU TOOK AWAY THE ONE WOMAN I LOVED! SHOULD
HAVE BEEN SNUFFED OUT AND ABORTED YOU LITTLE RUNT! ITS TIME
FOR YOU TO PAY, SON!!!!!!" said Zaiyal. "I think you got it the other way
around father." Said Zaiyal. Just then Zaiyal appeared as if he teleported behind his
father and sent him flying out of the mansion at first it seemed they were evenly
matched but soon Zaiyal would get the upper-hand. Zaiyal's father tried to use
psychological tricks but to no avail Zaiyal's determination let him surpass all of his
father's attacks until finally he used his most powerful technique the 'Buddhist
Palm!" His father was knocked to the ground. Zaiyal walked over to his father. "I
guess I surpassed you. Not that this matters, you would hate me no matter what I
did you said it yourself. I think I'm tired of you father. It's time to meet your end.
Any last words?" said Zaiyal. "That's right kill me just like you killed your mother
you evil shit!" said Zaiyal VIII as he spit on the floor. At this Zaiyal began to
explode with anger; "You're a dead old man!" said Zaiyal. But just as Zaiyal shot
his Solar Strike attack at his father Ungar bounced it off his cape. "What are you
doing Warlock, this man is a monster." Said Zaiyal. "You're right ever since your
mother died he's honestly been the opposite of your Great-Grandfather and
Grandfather who were honorable Solarian warriors but you still can't kill him. A
son that kills his father or a father that kills his son unleashes a darkness that
cannot be contained. I never did it myself even though I've done other unspeakable
things in my past, but I've seen others do it, nothing's the same afterwards it's like
their souls have been shattered into a million pieces. And I'm not gonna let that
happen to you. I'm sorry Zaiyal, I know you might hate me right now. But you're
going to have to forgive me. We all came. Aquaris will take you to the others." Said
Ungar. "ZAIYAL!!!!!" said Aquarius as she ran towards Zaiyal. "AQUARIUS!"
said Zaiyal. "Come on Zaiyal I heard everything. I'm so sorry I had no idea. I
always just assumed your mother died of a disease. I don't know what to say." Said
Aquarius.
"It's fine, the old man, as sick as he is, is right in his way." Said Zaiyal.
"What the hell are you talking about?" said Aquarius. "If I weren't born my
mother would be alive. Everything would be better if I never was born in the first
place." Said Zaiyal. At this Aquarius slapped Zaiyal and for Zaiyal everything
seemed to slow down as he heard the pain pour out of Aquarius. "You had nothing
to do with your mother dying it wasn't your fault! And why would you say that
don't you love me, don't talk about a world where we never met its too much for me
to bear. You can't do this to people." Said Aquarius. "Come on you'd just meet
somebody else if we never met." Said Zaiyal. "WHAT HAPPENED TO THE
EGO-DRIVEN WARRIOR THAT THOUGHT HE WOULD BECOME THE
GREATEST WARRIOR OF ALL TIME! Now you think you're disposable that
nothing would change if you were gone and perhaps it would be better. Stop being
so ignorant! Zaiyal we all care about you. I love you!" said Aquarius. At this
moment Aquarius kissed Zaiyal and Zaiyal fell into a romantic embrace with
Aquarius. When they finished kissing Aquarius who was shorter than Zaiyal but
her head on Zaiyal's chest and cried openly and now tears were seen on Zaiyal's
face as well. "Please promise me you won't say anything that horrible again
Zaiyal. Its too much, please don't tell me that's how you feel about yourself." Said
Aquarius. "I promise, Aquarius. Let's go see the others I'm ready now." Said
Zaiyal. After this they flew back to the Yardrat Academy just as the school day was
about to end and everyone was waiting outside. Back at the outside of Zaiyal
senior's manor. "I need to show you something tomorrow and you're much less
powerful than I am so you won't be able to say no. Me and my good friend the Slug
Man need to take you to the world of the Guru Maochong the Caterpillar tomorrow
you need to understand what you're doing to that boy and he's the only one I know
that can talk any sense into you. Try being a father for once in your life you
low-life!" said Ungar. As Ungar began to fly off Zaiyal VIII yelled; "That's rich
coming from someone who's killed millions, Ungar!" Said Zaiyal VIII.
Ungar arrived at the spot outside the school where Daniel and the rest of
them were waiting. All of the elves heard everything including Daniel but
something that Mr. Gillum even as a Non-Elf had the ability to do as well but
unfortunately Sarai and Atil as Wolf Aliens also had incredible hearing and heard
everything had to explain the entire situation to Gordo the Pando in real time and it
was tedious to say the least. The person who helped Gordo the most was Tito who
did not have romantic feelings for Gordo for one the Panda wasn't gay but saw him
as a genuine friend. The Elf and the Panda were becoming thick and thieves and
their friendship would grow stronger in the future to the point where they saw each
other as blood-brothers. Because Tito, Sarai and Atil explained this all to Gordo he
understood what had happened to Zaiyal and the deep impact it must have had on
him. When Zaiyal arrived everyone was welcoming of Zaiyal and Tito stepped
forward. "Listen man you had a lot harder than I did." Said Tito. "But you were an
orphan?!" said Zaiyal. "Yeah but I was never falsely blamed for killing my mother
and hated by any guardian. I can't even imagine Zaiyal. If I knew I wouldn't have
done it. Next time I won't." said Tito. "No problem, Homosexual! I can't believe
I'm saying this but its water under the bed my friend." Said Zaiyal. "I'm sorry for
any shit I gave you in the past Zaiyal, I wish I could undo it." Said Sarai. "Come on
Sarai, we're good friends now there's no need to grovel, you're ok in my book!"
said Zaiyal. "Hey Zaiyal, I just wanted to say I'm sorry for misjudging you. At first
I hated you, then I disliked you but I gradually grew to respect you and I'm sorry I
just assumed you didn't have your own problems. You didn't have a chance in the
start but we'll all help give you a second chance, my friend. A chance to have a life
of fulfillment rather than nihilism, apathy and self-hatred." Said Daniel. "Now
you're all starting to pity me?! This can't stand I guess I'll have to train even
harder. But seriously thank you Elf!" said Zaiyal. "You're welcome, my friend."
Said Daniel. "But don't think our rivalry is over. I will surpass you Elf!" said
Zaiyal. "I'm counting on it, Zaiyal!" said Daniel. After this everyone gathered up
their things and began to head to their dorm rooms. On the top of the building
stood Narcis with his cape blowing in the breeze he thought to himself. "Zaiyal
lived through that and he didn't become a tyrant or a villain. That doesn't make
any sense how could it?!" thought Narcis. "Just because someone's dealt a rotten
hand in life doesn't mean they will themselves turn out rotten." Said Ungar. "Oh it's
you. What did I tell you about reading my thoughts, Warlock." Said Narcis. "Can't
help it kid, its second nature." Said Ungar. "By the way, were you mistreated as a
child by Narcis, if it's not too personal." Said Ungar. "Quite the opposite my
mother and father prepared me for greatness. They knew I would inherit the
Imperial Title at first my father believed my grandfather to be a Psycho but then
after observing my abilities and the miracles I performed he was convinced of our
divine bloodline. They died at the ages of 105 and 107 respectively some 200 years
ago. It's my duty to secure their legacy and bloodline and secure my Imperial
order." Said Narcis. "I can tell you're telling the truth about your childhood. It's
one of my powers to tell if someone is being truthful or lying but the second half
about you believing you have a right to an Empire is nonsense now isn't it?!" said
Ungar. "What the hell are you talking about Warlock?! Said Narcis. "The evil in
your heart is slowly melting away I can feel it. You used to believe the lie that your
parents told you that you would inherit the fortunes of this Earth but now you are
starting to believe it was all a lie a big illusion. You can deny it all you want but
we're starting to rub off on you Narcis. Sooner or later you'll have to accept this
fact." Said Ungar. "Whatever you say Warlock, lets see how right you turn out
when I conquer this entire planet!" said Narcis. "I guess we will. By kid!" said
Ungar. After this Ungar took off and Narcis continued to be deep in thought he
would sleep outside that night as he often did instead of sleeping in the dorms. He
began to think; "Why is it that a guy like Zaiyal who's been mistreated and
emotionally abused his whole life turns out to be one of these foolish heroes and I
who was showered with gifts and praise by my parents and all of our servants and
nearly everybody else ended up being one of these so-called tyrants. I feel like it
should be the other way around. Then why do I want to be an Emperor and he
doesn't. I'm overthinking this. I need to stop and go to sleep." That night several of
our heroes confronted the Caterpillar at the same time.
First, was Acon 01 01 01 and Taiping who were confronted by the
Caterpillar. Taiping was told by Maochong that he was clearly suffering from the
fact that he killed too many people to be redeemed and Acon 01 01 01 -012 was
afraid of his death this is what he was running from this fear of death which robbed
him of life. The Caterpillar spoke the famous words by Alexander the Great in
relation to this; "He who conquers fear, conquers death." Its been a while since
these two have appeared in the story as they've been training with Ebisu in the
Wind Palace this whole time.
Second, was Tito who was confronted by the fact that he was a coward and
why he was a coward who ran from all danger and all relationships. He ran from
danger because he feared the same fate as his parents being of course death and he
feared forming bonds as he could never hold on to bonds in the past and didn't
want it to break him again.
Third, Narcis was confronted with the fact that he was living a lie and he
began to see Ungar as a father-figure now. And that Ungar was indeed right about
the evil in Narcis's heart growing weaker by the day. Narcis of course resisted the
words of Maochong but the Caterpillar simply told him he only told people what
he knew nothing more nothing less.
Fourth, was Sarai who felt he didn't deserve the new life he had that for the
first time in his life with his girlfriend Atil a fellow Izadoran-Wolf and the rest of
his friends he was starting to begin to feel happy. And he felt guilty as he had once
been a warlord who would go around the galaxy with his band of space pirates
killing and enslaving countless millions of innocent people. The Caterpillar simply
told him that people who had done worse such as Ungar the Warlock turned over a
new leaf; there was no logical reason why he could not do the same.
And finally last was Zaiyal, who wouldn't get the standard talking-to that the
rest of the Caterpillar's guests received when he visited them in their dreams within
the Dream World. He was confronted first by the Clockwork-Elves, a collective of
small Elves who introduced Zaiyal to the Caterpillar. "So you're the great
Maochong?!" said Zaiyal. "You've been through a lot today haven't you Zaiyal
everything that had been building up came out all at once but the only way to begin
the very long and difficult journey to cure you of this anger you must fight your
demons. You'll have to fight a few. Enough talk, get ready for the Dream
Gauntlet!" said Maochong the Caterpillar. "Dream Gauntlet?" said Zaiyal. As he
said this the Caterpillar disappeared into the mist of the Dream World and out of
the mist came two familiar faces being Taiping the Wolf-Demon and the Cyborg
Acon 01 01 01 -012 but this wasn't the redeemed friendly pair that had come to
ally with the heroes this was the old versions as if he was in a pocket of the past
somewhere within the realm of space time. "My real life counterpart wouldn't risk
hitting you too hard but I'm the real-deal so I'm going all out kid!" said Acon 01
01 01 -012. "Sweet, let's draw blood!"said Taiping. As they said that the fight
began Zaiyal quickly dealt with both the Dream Version of Taiping and Acon 01
01 01 . Next up was another current-friend and former enemy Sarai the Izadoran.
Just as before Sarai used the same attacks as he did back when he had almost
destroyed the Planet but Zaiyal made quick work of him once again showing that
he had improved as a fighter. The next fights were more of the same, defeating
Yuga (Qagar) the Merkit, Tito and Daniel with ease but now there was one last
demon he had to confront. This last demon made Zaiyal shutter in fear.
It was him. "You expected it to be your father, that would be too easy. You
already overcome the fear of your father but what you can't overcome is your own
self-guilt. It's eating you alive right now isn't it. I can only imagine the pain you're
feeling right now. If it weren't for you you're mother would still be alive today."
Said Dream Zaiyal. "Shut up! You're not me! I don't believe any of that nonsense!"
said Zaiyal. "That's hilarious, I had no idea you were such a talented Comedian.
But no Zaiyal I'm you, I'm your dark side. You always come off and brooding but
underneath that is your good side I'm the other half buried deep underneath that.
All I want to do is destroy everything, I have uncontrollable rage I don't can't
about anyone I'll kill all of them Daniel, Sarai, Narcis, Tito, and even that bitch
ARTEMIS!" said Dream Zaiyal. "You shut your fucking mouth, you better not hurt
my sweet Artemis you son of a bitch!" said Zaiyal. As he said this he lunged
forward but Dream Zaiyal dodged his punch gracefully. And then another punch
and another every blow that Zaiyal tried to deliver his dream counterpart he would
simply move out of the way like it was nothing at all. Zaiyal was getting nowhere
so he tried to elbow Dream Zaiyal in the gut. But Dream Zaiyal grabbed his arm
and threw him into a dream portal and they ended up in the middle of an
abandoned desert somewhere in the middle of nowhere on Planet Helios with no
people around and little to no wildlife in site. Not that it mattered this was in the
Dream World after all. "I wanted a nice change of scenery and thought the Desert
was a good substitute there's nothing quite like the desert. Maybe I could show you
my Final Strike technique which can destroy an entire planet, maybe than you'll
understand who you're dealing with," Said Dream Zaiyal. "You can't be me there's
no reason I would ever do something that terrible." Said Zaiyal. "Of course you
would. I'm the feelings you've repressed your entire life. They've been growing
inside you and they're ready to explode like a Powder Keg. You're just as unstable
as the Balkans or people with PTSD. What was the thing Otto von Bismarck said
while he was Chancellor of Germany oh yes, "The great European war will come
and it will be over some silly thing in the Balkans." And it did in 1914, 30 years
after Bismarck said this a Bosnian-Serb Nationalist shot and killed an
Austrian-Archduke which knocked over a series of dominoes in 1914 that would
start the First World War. And Bismarck was proven right 30 years later that war
began over some silly squabble between Austria and Serbia in the Balkans. But
with you my friend. You'll crack much sooner. Bismarck rightfully predicted the
First World War but that happened 30 years after he said his prediction. Your
emotional Powder-Keg will go off in 2 maybe 3 years max. You're a ticking time
bomb Zaiyal why don't you surrender yourself to me now and become who you
truly are." Said Dream Zaiyal. "You talk too much. It's time to shut you up!" said
Zaiyal. As he said this Zaiyal flew into battle and so did Dream Zaiyal and the fight
began similar to the last one this time at first Dream Zaiyal dodged all of Zaiyal's
punches with his head and upper-body and later he began to block all of his
punches with his hands. Smirking as he did this. It was clear now that his Dream
version had a traditional suit of Solarian Armor but it was dark in color and reaked
of energy just as Dream Zaiyal did himself. Eventually they stopped for a time and
then Zaiyal began to charge up some kind of strange attack and light began to form
around his body and glow larger and larger. "What the hell are you doing? What is
this?!" said Dream Zaiyal. But Zaiyal ignored him, building up more and more
energy until it looked as if he was ready to explode and then he shot across the sky
and punched Dream Zaiyal in the gut knocking a giant hole in his armor and
leaving him in intense pain screaming on the ground. After this Zaiyal used the
same attack over and over and Dream Zaiyal was beginning to get a taste of his
own medicine. Until finally he was knocked into the side of a stone wall and
catching his breath said; "Very good Zaiyal. But let's see if you can counter this?!"
said Dream Zaiyal. He began to raise himself up into the sky and began to charge
up an attack. "I know this is a Dream but it just feels too real. Maybe Fantasy can
inspire you to make this into a reality. So watch me turn this entire planet into
space dust with my Final Strike!" said Dream Zaiyal. After he said this Zaiyal flew
up and started to almost become like a beam of light from the sun he shot up and
neutralized the energy from Dream Zaiyal's final strike attack and following this
the light beam pushed through Dream Zaiyal's chest leaving a giant hole where it
went through. As the light came out the other side of Dream Zaiyal the light beam
materialized back into Zaiyal. And Dream Zaiyal fell to the ground. After this the
dust on the ground was blinding but Zaiyal walked slowly over to his Dream
Counterpart now with a huge gaping hole in his chest as he lay slowly dying. "You
did it! You beat me you literally went right through me. I'm so very proud of you.
I'm going away for a while but I'll be back eventually. I'm you after all." Said
Dream Zaiyal. After this he began to laugh Sekuacally and slowly disspeared as he
faded from his existence in the Dream World. After that the entire desert world
began to turn back into blue mist. And Zaiyal was now deeply confused. "You
confronted yourself which is your greatest demon as of yet." Said Maochong.
"Listen worm, what's the big idea! That wasn't me. I'm not evil!" said Zaiyal. "No
you are not, that's merely the darker side of you, be aware of it your enemies will
try to exploit if given the opportunity. In any event it's time to go to Zaiyal. You
can't stay in the Dream World any longer. Farewell!" said Maochong. After this
Zaiyal woke up from a cold sweat unlike with most dreams he remembered
everything. He walked outside in his pajamas and saw Ungar staring out a window
in the University hallway all at the stroke of midnight with a full moon in the
distance. "Ungar. What are you doing up." Said Zaiyal. "It's my curse Zaiyal. I
never sleep. I have no need for it and even if I wanted to for reasons of nostalgia
I'm incapable of it." Said Ungar. "Oh that's right, sorry I forgot." Said Zaiyal.
"You saw the Caterpillar didn't you," said Ungar. "I felt his presence in addition I
saw all of this I can peek into the Dream and Spirit Worlds you know, everything he
said was true Zaiyal. I used to have that same monster in me even after Ebisu
showed me the way for a long time. The darker side kept eating at my soul. It
eventually goes away but it won't come easy, always be vigilant." Said Ungar.
"Now that I know I will. Listen Ungar I haven't always been the nicest person to
you. I always said you coddled me and it's been hard for me to admit but you're the
only real father-figure I've ever really hard and even though I always give you shit
and it pains me to say this because it sounds so cheesy and stupid but, 'I love you,
Ungar! I love you like the father I never had the fortune of having." Said Zaiyal. "I
know it's hard but you need to forgive him. As long as you hold hatred towards him
you don't hurt him you only hurt yourself. You need to overcome his sick world
view." Said Zaiyal.
"Why are you standing up for him, I don't get it?!" said Zaiyal. 'It might
sound hollow and stupid but I promised your Great-Grandfather that I would
protect his bloodline as long as it continued. He was like the son I never got to
have. I was killed when I was merely a young adult. And I was the God-Father of
his child, your Grandfather. I always felt a bond with all of the Solarians even with
your father but I haven't felt a paternal bond like this you're Great-Grandfather,
you're the first in your family since him that I considered like a son. So if you want
me to continue to be your father I'm right here kid... You know over the last 20 plus
years I never hugged you once. I need to remedy that, Zaiyal. Give me a hug kid,
always remember that I'll always be there for you." Said Ungar with his arms out.
Zaiyal had begun to cry halfway through Ungar's speech. In fact, today was the
first day he cried all his entire life as his father had always taught him that crying
and fear was below a great warrior. Zaiyal began to ball, 20 plus years of pent-up
depression, sadness and anger exploded all at once only part of it came out when
he confronted his father and made up with Aquarius. "Ungar I'm so sorry for
everything I'll be better I promise. Please don't tell anyone about this by the way."
Said Zaiyal. "Hahaha! You never change boy! It's always about your image. You'll
get through this and I can tell you why not only did I change but the evil in Narcis's
decreases everyday. If there's hope for people like me and him you'll be just fine."
Said Ungar. "Thanks, it's gonna be nice to have Narcis not planning his sneak
attack after this all over if you end up being right anyway." Said Zaiyal.
Zaiyal and Ungar began to laugh but in the distance was the Elf known as
Narcis. Narcis pondered; "That Warlock is becoming a father figure to me too
according to that Caterpillar. But that can't be?! I'm the greatest conqueror of all
time. I'm the father-figure of the masses. I do not need one of my own." Thought
Narcis.
