The next day, the air was fresh and of course cold from the heavy downpour and thunder storm of the previous night.
Zane was the first to wake up that morning by 5am. However unlike every other day he knew what he was feeling and he looked around before saying to himself "I shouldn't have said what I said last night so suddenly, I'm so dumb... This autism makes me speak exactly what I feel all the f**king time".
He was just hoping she didn't hear him say what he said because he was already embarrassed enough by himself.
Later it was 6am and the sun was rising, hiting all the wet plants and surfaces from the rain making it sparkle. The early morning birds sung a beautiful melody and Ashley woke up and headed to the living room and Zane came out at about nearly 3 minutes after wearing an over sized hoodie to hide his blushing.
She looked confused, 🤔 why he was covering his face and just said with a bright smile "Ohayou...".
He looked at her then turned away sharply and poured himself a cup of coffee and added a sugar cube hurriedly before gulping down all it's contents down under 5 seconds and went straight to his bedroom for a shower.
Zane's POV:
By her tone and expression when she greeted me just now makes it clear that there's a 70% chance she didn't hear what I said last night before I slept... THANK GOD!
Ashley POV:
What's with him? He's behaving like he committed a crime, murdered someone by accident or something else entirely... Anyway I should probably go for my shower too... I know Zane, he doesn't eat before his lectures 'cause is mainly on combat so he'll eat more later...
So she just had some toast and jam then took a shower, dressed up and headed out of her room to see Zane was already ready to go and they left together.
While they walked to campus Ashley decided to ask Zane why he'd been been behaving so strange but in a more different reproach "Takeo? Did I do something wrong?" He shook his head. "Then why have you been so distant today?". He replied calmly "I'm just really tired".
She held his han dand gave him a bright smile before heading to her department building, waving him from behind "Matashi". "Ha i" Then he started walking quickly in the direction of his Department site, face flushed a little "I'm such a big idiot"...
