Immediately he shouted she jerk awake "Takeo?". Then she rushed over to his bedroom in her PJ's all rumbled while sleeping to see him under his blanket breathing heavily, having a serious panic attack and cursing the celestial world all together. "Misaki, I'm scared..." tears rolled down his face.
She went over to his closet and searched it for the noise cancelled headphones and she finally found them but just then there was another thunder crack and he shouted again and she rushed to his side with the headphones, putting them on his head covering his ears to block the sound of the thunder.
She hugged him tightly urging him to calm down "It's okay Zane, take deep breaths... In... and out" he matched the rhythm and slowly calmed down and hugged her back then said "Hontōni arigatō, shin'yu" then she replied softly "Dōitashimashite, Takeo. She tucked him in properly waiting for him to sleep before heading towards the door to leave and he muttered something in his sleep but she did hear him " Misaki, aishiteruyo". Thinking he must've said goodnight she said calmly "Good night Takeo"
She went to bed and slept muttering to herself in her sleep "Oyasumi sekai".
