The next event was underway. For some reason there was a lot of cheerleaders. Wearing… interesting clothing.
'Stupid author trying to add stupid fan service.'
I looked away. Apparently there was some recreational games to do first.
Of my team, Jiro had to fight Midoriya, Sato had to fight Kirishima, Hagakure had to fight
Anyways the recreational games started, the first was scavenger hunt. I spent the entire time on Sato's shoulder.
After that Cementoss prepared a concrete platform to fight on.

The first match was Midoriya verses Jiro. The match started with Midoriya running towards Jiro with his fingers in a flicking position.
He used one finger at full power to blow away Jiro, making her go off balance, he then kept running and used a second way closer to her. This made her slip and Midoriya got close enough to her.
Midoriya ducked as Jiro's ear phones clams flying at him and gave her a firm shove causing her to step out of bounds.
The second match then went ahead after. Midoriya and Jiro walked off.
The second match was Todoroki against Sero, and that went as well as you would think. Todoroki quickly moved on.
The ice was so big that it extended outside the arena itself.
'Why's the edge lord so angry.'
Anyhow the next fight was Kaminari against a person from class 1-B who had a quirk that made her hair plants. Her name was Shiozaki, but that went in one ear and out the other.
The third match was Iida against Hatsume. Iida was equipped with some gadgets. The entire match was long winded and just an excuse for Hatsume to show off her 'babies'.
Yeah I fell asleep.
The next match will hopefully be more exciting. It was Ashido against Kurusu.
'Wait Kurusu? IM KURUSU?!'
I slipped down just in time to come out my entrance at the same time as Ashido.
Once we were on the stage Ashido cracked her knuckles. "Haha! Time for some revenge".
"Oh I'm sorry, but as soon as you take a step you will lose." I looked at her with pity.
"Tsk."
"Don't tsk me."
"Tsk."
…
Once the fight started, Ashido used her quirk to rush me by sliding on her acid.
She made it a whole meter before steeping her left foot into one of my portals. She managed to avoid it with a quick jump forward.
But now she was midair and had nowhere to dodge so as soon as she landed she fell into a different portal I had just placed and fell out into the out of bounds section.
…
Present Mic then shouted. "AND ASHIDO IS OUT OF BOUNDS MOVING KURUSU FORWARRDD!!"
'Heh… revenge my ass.'

The next match was Tokoyami against Yaoyorozu. It ended with Tokoyami pushing Yaoyorozu out of bounds through a barrage from Dark Shadow.

Next was Kirishima against Sato. The fight lasted for about a minute of Sato punching Kirishima, each blow from Sato hit hard and chipped Kirishima but Kirishima managed to dodge and counter most attacks.
This led to Kirishima winning but taking a lot of damage. Overall a nice fight.
Next however was Ururaka against Bakugo. This ended with Bakugo's win, Ururaka planned a big attack using broken parts of the stage and making them rain down. But Bakugo just exploded it.
'Yeah, makes sense.'
The explosion was so powerful it even pushed Ururaka super far back, and she tried to stand but fell down again.
'Oof. That's gotta hurt.'
Midnight herself came down to the stage and checked on Ururaka.
Now there was a break until round two started.

The first match of round two was Midoriya against Todoroki.
It was the first truly flashy fight. Todoroki started with his ice which Midoriya just flicked through. At some point through the fight Midoriya used his already broken finger to flick again and broke it even further.
'What on Earth, I can literally see the purple from here'.
Midoriya seemed to give a speech to Todoroki. After this and a gut punch from Midoriya Todoroki didn't use his flames.
This continued and I was getting bored. That was until I felt a blistering heat.
'Finally! I wonder how many flashbacks he went through.'
As they both readied their strongest attacks Cementoss had to intervene. It didn't do much. A huge amount of smoke billowed forth and once it cleared only Shoto was left on the platform.
The next fight was Iida against… plant person, I forgot her name already. It ended with Iida pushing her out of bounds though.
Next was Tokoyami against me, I was actually down there on time since I learned from my mistakes.
Tokoyami used Dark Shadow to lift himself upwards and fly towards me.
'Trying to avoid my portals huh?'
I patiently waited as he flew towards me.
Just as he prepared to fly straight into me, I aligned some portals, one on my chest and the other outside the bounds
Then he connected, and slipped right through my chest and appeared out of bounds.
Due to part of him being on the other side, once I tried to dismiss the portal it forcefully sucked him in, which is why even though all of him didn't enter, he still got pulled through.
'Skadoosh.'

Next was Kirishima against Bakugo. Bakugo's explosions couldn't get past Kirishima's hardening and so Bakugo was on the defensive, getting pushed back towards the out of bounds.
Then Bakugo let out a torrent of explosions, ultimately overwhelming Kirishima who had been overusing his quirk.

Next was Iida against Todoroki. The fight was fast and Todoroki quickly surrounded Iida with ice. Then Iida jumped up and over the ice before going full blast and trying to throw Todoroki out of bounds.
Unfortunately Todoroki has clogged Iida's engines with ice causing Iida to slow and get finished off in a prison of ice.
Next was Bakugo against me.
'This is going to hurt like hell.'
I walked up to the stage where Bakugo was waiting.
"Hey! In the first round, you stuck a portal on me didn't you." Bakugo gritted his teeth.
"Yeah I did, I thought you were going to get first place after all."
He growled. "Watch me."
