Eldrin's eyes narrowed slightly and then he smiled.
"It seems that Cecil has some conscience after all"
Sebastian nodded approvingly, his voice calm.
"Perhaps with those two Viltrumite hybrids, it won't be impossible to defeat Conquest and Anissa"
They both disappeared from the throne hall, appearing in a desert and looking at the clear blue sky.
BOOOM!
BOOOOM!
Two figures landed across both Eldrin and Sebastian, blowing dust clouds.
A deep, cold voice came from the dust clouds.
"Stand ready for my arrival..Worm"
A small shockwave blew away the dust cloud, revealing two figures.
One was a lean woman with short brow hair wearing the classic white Viltrumite uniform and the other was a giant of man built like a tank. He looked old, his face scarred with a bald spot on his scalp and grey hair at the sides. His right arm was a prosthetic one, grey in colour.
He looked coldly with his one functioning eye at the two figures standing across him,but then he looked up, his eye narrowing.
BOOOM!
BOOOOM!
Two figures landed heavily beside Eldrin and Sebastian, clad in black, wearing black masks and hoods; their suit and attire was the polar opposite of Viltrumites.
Anissa paid them no mind and looked at the Eldrin with a strange gaze; her eyes held an emotion that could only be explained as cold curiosity.
She glanced at conquest, her voice cold.
"You take on those three, I will take on the tall one with wings"
Conquest nodded coldly, his figure disappearing in a cloud of dust.
Anissa's gaze was locked on Eldrin's figure with predatory intensity.
BOOOOM!
Her body shot forward at blinding speed,to the point that Eldrin could not react, but he didn't need to.
A slender fist pierced Eldrin's stomach, causing a powerful, precise shockwave that blew a hole in the ground.
However, to Anissa's shock, Eldrin stood there unfazed; the place where Anissa's hand was, was misty black.
She didn't feel like she punched flesh and blood but air.
Eldrin's cold but amused voice brought her out of her shock.
"Normal attacks cannot harm me,miss"
Eldrin backhanded Anissa right in her face, but to no avail; she wasn't fazed in the slightest, after all, this was Eldrin's clone, not the original one.
Anissa looked at Eldrin with newfound interest,as if observing an interesting specimen rather than an enemy to be killed.
Eldrin, knowing her strange character, spoke.
"It is of no use, I cannot procreate the same way most species do"
But Anissa wasn't buying that and tried to restrain him, only for her hands to pass through his body harmlessly.
Eldrin's gaze was calm, his voice "Regretful".
"A rather tempting offer that I will have to unfortunately refuse, as I said, I do not possess the capability to impregnate you"
Anissa looked coldly at the man before clearly not believing him. She poked his body, trying to understand the mechanics behind his intangibility.
Eldrin's hand glowed dark purple, his fist slamming on Anissa's Adam's apple.
Crack!
Anissa stumbled back with wide eyes, holding her Adam's apple while gasping for air.
Eldrin walked towards her with clear confusion.
"You let your guard down so easily. Did you assume I wasn't strong enough to harm you after that slap?"
She looked at Eldrin with cold malice while holding her Adam's apple. Such an injury would have been grave for any normal person, but for a viltrumite its not much.
Instead of feeling fear or vigilance, she smiled, her voice came rough due to her still-crushed Adam's apple.
"You have to turn tangible to attack, don't you?!"
She shot forward with blinding speed, appearing in front of Eldrin but without attacking.
She simply waited, her eyes sharp, awaiting for Eldrin to attack.
Eldrin looked at her with barely contained amusement, his hand shot forward only to be effortlessly grabbed by Annissa, who proceeded to pin Eldrin down with both his hands grabbed by Annissa's.
Eldrin was even more amused at her boldness.
"Oh my, you're quite the bold one, aren't you?Unfortunately, I can turn intangible even if you restrain me"
Anissa's eyes widened as she lost grip of Eldrin's hands. Eldrin proceeded to get up, passing through her body like mist.
He made an attempt to backhand her in the face, but she grabbed it and restrained him again, but this time she hurriedly tried to tear off his pants only for his body to turn intangible again.
His mischievous but also malicious voice whispered in her ears.
"You are starting to piss me off, lady. You want it,well you can't have it because it's not even there"
Eldrin's voice became impatient.
"I am not a biological being!I don't procreate the same way that you do,get it through your head, you barbarian!"
Eldrin dusted off his body and wings, looking at Anissa with disgust. She reminded him of kings with too much power and lust, raping slaves they bought, using them as toys rather than humans.
Eldrin's Clone however, was not powerful or fast enough to do anything to Anissa, so he simply stood there.
Anissa crossed her hands with barely contained lust, her eyes analysing possible flaws in this man's intangibility.
After three minutes, she signed in annoyance and asked.
"So how do you do it then? You cannot convince me that you don't procreate"
But Eldrin answered coldly.
"Irrelevant to the current situation, your question will go unanswered"
Anissa snorted in annoyance, her eyes rolling. She glanced at Conquest, who was actually getting pushed back in surprise.
Her cold voice filled with shock.
"Impossible! They are actually winning against conquest?!"
Her head snapped to the smirking man,who had appeared behind her.
Eldrin's hand glowed dark purple, his hand turned bladed and shot towards Anissa's neck, only for her to narrowly dodge.
Eldrin teleported behind her, making another attempt at her neck, but she dodged it.
Suddenly, 4 more clones appeared, grabbing Anissa by a limb each; two grabbed her feet and another two her arms.
Eldrin teleported behind her, his hand finally landing on her neck, knocking her unconscious.
Thanks to his fist being coated with black magic, he could actually hurt her,but he chose not to,instead he knocked her unconscious.
He was thinking if she could be redeemed, though to be frank, every Viltrumite had caused mass genocide in the past to conquer planets.
However, Eldrin determined if someone could be redeemed by looking at their heart, and that's what he did.
Eldrin wasn't surprised when he saw a pitch-black heart. Nolan himself probably had a pitch-black heart before coming to Earth, but after Mark and Debbie, his heart had a small spark of light.
The only reason Eldrin didn't kill Nolan is because Eldrin arrived after Nolan came to Earth, not before.
Eldrin looked coldly at Anissa. She technically has a chance at redemption if she has her way with Mark or someone, but he will not allow such a vile act to be her cause of redemption.
Eldrin's hand glowed an intense dark purple, heading straight for Anissa's skull.
BAAAAM!
Crack!
And just like that, Anissa was no more.
