Eldrin glanced at the now overwhelmed conquest with no surprise whatsoever.
Those two weren't normal Viltrumites, but hybrids artificially transformed by the Viltrumite serum; they were far stronger than the average Viltrumite, though not as strong as Conquest. They could definitely give him a run for his money with their combined strength.
Eldrin smiled.
And if you add Sebastian to the equation, his defeat becomes inevitable.
Conquest attempted to grab one Viltrumite by the neck, only to narrowly lose his remaining eye by a precise shadow spike.
The Viltrumite hybrids' fists clenched and shot forward, slamming straight into Conquest's ugly, scarred face.
Conquest however recovered instantly, only for him to be grabbed from the back and suplexed to the ground.
BAAAAAM!
The ground below cracked and shook.
Conquest's head was embedded in it.
The two Viltrumites took this opportunity and rained punches upon the stuck Viltrumite body.
There were brutal aimed directly at..vital spots causing...Devastating and eternal harm.
Eldrin's eyes flickered slightly at the too gruesome sight.
Even he wasn't that ruthless; to rid a man of his manhood was an unspoken taboo.
He shook his head.
Yet unfortunately for this man, it was kill or be killed; his Viltrumite durability left no other choice.
Conquest's agonising screams echoed across the desert.
Sebastian and Eldrin were manipulating shadows to keep Conquest stuck; it barely worked.
Eldrin approached Conquest's body, his right hand glowing dark purple.
The two Viltrumites already knew what they had to do, so they dragged Conquest's body, causing his head to get unstuck.
Conquest tried to fly away, yet those two Viltrumites held him in a death grip, their eyes bloodshot, their bodies flowed with the power of adrenaline.
Eldrin's hand turned bladed and shot towards Conquest's eye, piercing it with a gruesome sound.
Eldrin's bladed hand pierced through his brain, directly ending him.
Thud!
The giant of a man fell heavily to the ground, motionless, while the two Viltrumites wiped off the brain matter and gore from their masks with disgusted expressions.
Eldrin calmly approached them with a smile.
"Apologies for that, those Viltrumites have an impossibly tough durability, making the eye the most optimal option."
The Viltrumites casually waved off, not at all minding it,disgusting as that was; it was necessary, they had even targeted his manhood for physical and psychological agony.
The Viltrumites proceeded to explain their visits purpose.
Eldrin nodded with surprise.
"That Cecil hasn't forgotten us,that's surprising,truly... I wasn't expecting him to send a Viltrumite hybrid whatsoever. They are too precious after all"
Eldrin looked at the two Viltrumites, his voice curious.
"For how long?"
"Around a month, until we are assured that no more reinforcements will arrive"
Eldrin nodded and thought.
"Perhaps I should fetch some serums from Erskine, the people here need them"
LHS 1140 b,Erskine's office.
Erskine was sitting in his office watching the Holographic screen across from him that showed LHS 1140 C.
From his own shadow emerged a shadow clone of Eldrin.
Erskine wasn't startled, his was already numb to Eldrin appearing from literally anywhere.
He remembered that one time when Eldrin emerged from the bathroom's sink.
Let that sink in,like how the fuck did he even emerge from there?!
And there was that time when he emerged from the Coca-Cola that he was drinking, hell he even one time emerged from a....Magazine..yes.
And with that same calm face nonetheless, as if nothing strange had even happened.
Eldrin's calm but amused voice reached his ear.
"How are you doing old friend?"
Erskine's eyes narrowed in suspicion; his instincts were screaming to him in terror like something was terribly wrong.
In Eldrin's hand appeared something that made Erskine shake his head in sad denial.
Sob!
Sob!
"No..I refuse"
He screamed as he looked at the glowing pitch-black stone in Eldrin's hand.
It was responsibility and paperwork, Erskine's worst nemesis.
"YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME ELDRIN!THIS IS TOO MUCH FOR ME TO BEAR!"
But Eldrin's calm and serious voice echoed cruelly.
"This is the chaos stone, capable of destroying the whole multiverse in less than an instant"
Eldrin grabbed Erskine by the shoulder, his voice too serious.
"Only you can handle such heavy responsibility"
Erskine was on the verge of crying, wanting to shout that he couldn't, but he didn't get the chance as Eldrin continued.
"This stone is now yours. The moment I met you i knew you were the right person. I knew that you were fit to be a mighty king who could take any burden whatsoever with no problem at all"
Erskine broke crying when he heard the last part.
When Eldrin saw that, he smiled gently,But from the inside, he was dying of laughter.
If he wasn't an expert actor, he would have literally started laughing like a maniac.
Erskine looked at Eldrin with tears in his eyes, his voice cracking.
"I can't do it!I can't!"
Eldrin's expression turned casual, and he simply disintegrated the stone.
"Oh, that's fine, the stone is no more then"
Erskine's expression screamed.
"Excuse me?!"
"What?"
Eldrin spoke confused.
Erskine couldn't tell if Eldrin was playing stupid or retarded.
"The stone!DID YOU DESTROY THE STONE?!"
Eldrin nodded casually and said like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"You said you didn't want it, so I simply made it cease to exist"
Erskine grabbed his head in shock and disbelief.
"You just destroyed an infinity stone Eldrin!"
"Yes?I remember it clearly"
Answered Eldrin with a "No shit Sherlock" kind of expression.
Erskine was reaching a breaking point,he started thinking of all that paperwork that he could have avoided if Eldrin was normal upstairs.
Eldrin smiled secretly and he manifested the stone with shadow control and dark magic in front of Erskine's face.
Erskine shouted in anger.
"NO DON'T UNDO IT! DESTROY IT!"
