Coco transformed into a giant thunderbird as they all climbed onto him.
He flapped his wings and, soon enough, he flew into the sky. Capricorn's hand created a path of clouds so that they could all be hidden by the clouds.
Adam smiled and closed his eyes. He leaned back to feel the wind brush his strands and face… last time he felt so free was a long time ago…
William scooted closer to Adam and muttered under his breath.
''So… how will we find the crew mates?''
Adam cracked an eye open to look back at him. He sighed before answering groggily.
''Capricorn knows what she's doing… she knows her crew better than anyone.''
He smirks and closes his eyes again.
''Just lay back and enjoy the view.''
William looks down at the ground. They were really high…
He felt arms wrap around him tightly, yet shakily. He looked back and saw Leyla cling onto him. He smiled and wrapped an arm around. He had to admit he was scared too… but either Coco, Capricorn or Adam would jump to rescue him if he fell.
He felt…
Safe.
He lied down onto Coco's huge back with her and looked up at the starry sky with a small sigh.
He could feel how tense both of their backs were.
William was stressed out because of his parents getting kidnapped… it was the first time in his short life that he was without them…
They would always take care of him, make his favorite food for him, he rarely left the house without them… all of this was so… foreign to him.
And he was at the presence of not just one, but twoGods.
He looks over at Leyla, whose eyes were closed, and his expression slowly falls…
He was so weak… and she was beginning to become stronger than him. It shouldn't be like that… he's the older brother.
He should be the one protecting her.
He should be the one taking all the hits…
He… should be the one training.
He sits up and looks at Capricorn and Adam's backs.
These Gods helped them… because he couldn't.
They felt pity, because they are pitiful.
''What a joke…''
He mumbled under his breath.
He buried his face in his hands.
Leyla deserved so much more…
He was lost in his thoughts, when suddenly, something shook Coco.
Coco groaned in pain.
Capricorn suddenly stood up and looked down.
''W-what's happening…?'' Leyla asked shakily.
''The King.'' Capricorn answered firmly.
Her expression paled as she held onto her brother tighter.
William gritted his teeth.
Capricorn took off her hat and coat, letting them fall onto Coco's back.
''Coco, hold on a little longer. Lead us downward''
She glances at Adam with a dark look.
''I assume you won't help us…''
He flashed a smirk at her and nodded.
She rolled her eyes and looked down at the direction of where the missile got thrown.
She takes a deep breath and grins.
And suddenly…
She jumps.
William's eyes widen as he tries to catch her in vain.
''Captain—!!!''
Captain? Even he was confused at that.
Capricorn's back grows some black, torn wings as she flies towards the ground.
Arrived there, she smirks at the people around and stretches her whole body nonchalantly.
''Hey guys~! The party's over. I know you all have been sent by The King, but can't we talk it out~?''
''You monster!'' One says.
''You think we'll fall into your traps again, you demon?!'' Another one says.
She snorts as her wings retract into her back.
''Oh, but you already did~''
She vanishes.
They all tense up and hold out their spears, their shields close.
A second later, she's behind the general.
''Hi there~''
Before he could turn around…
A breath.
A flick of steel…
Everyone's eyes widen.
A woman's eyes fill with tears.
She probably was his wife.
The head dropped to the floor with a loud silence.
Everyone was holding their breath as Capricorn slowly licked her sword…
''Mmh~ I preferred the last chief's taste.''
The woman's weapons drop to the floor as she grits her teeth.
She takes several angry breaths while clenching her fists, her knuckles turning white.
''I'm… going to KILL YOU—!!!!!''
Her head turned red as she lunged forward— too fast, too reckless.
Her tears made her vision blurry, but would it have changed anything anyway?
She was already blinded.
Blinded by fury.
