Chapter 4:Ahhhh the wickedness now begins,so sad
"And where do you think you are going dressed like that?"she asks me
"......,"i answer,hahahaha i didn't
"Am i not talking to you?"She raises her voice at me,"do you see any of wearing expensive sneakers?Do you see any of us wearing an exepnsive cardigan?Humble yourself and go change,"she tells me
"But thses are the kinds of clothes i have,"i honestly and modestly tell her
"Do you think you are better than us?"She asks all of a sudden totally out of the subject matter,"if you don't have anything else to wear then just stay,"she finally blurts out what she wanted to say all along'stay.'
"Okay,"i say then i turn back to start my peaceful journey back into the house
"And where do you think you are going"She stops me before i could even take a step
"I am going back into the house,i won't come along with you guys,"i say
"Who told ypu to leave?And who are you calling guys?Do i resemble those your stupid peers,why are you doing this?So that your father can shout at me and call me abusive isn't it?"she asks
"But you said...."before i could finish
"Ohh shut up and get in the car,"she finally says.
I presume this is going to be one of the most tiring days of my exeistence on this planet called earth
"Let's go uncle,"i say after i sit on the front seat of the car
She gives me a frightening stare like whooo i am in big trouble.
"Hello,"i say
"Yoo what up?"Bris asks,on a phone call that is
"Nothing just going out with my family,"i answer
"What?You going out and you did not take me with you,"he asks jokingly
"Hahaha,i'd rather spare you the brutality,"i answer back but madam gives me a huge stare especially at the phone
......After 25 minutes of being on the phone call,i finally decide to say goodbye.
"Yo i gotta get going,"i say
"Yep you should,have fun,"he says then pauses and then we both burst out in laughter like wow
"Ok i will,night,"i say then end the call
"Who was that?"She asks
"My friend,"i answer knowing the question to follow
"A boy or a girl,"she asks obviously
"A boy,"i answer
"Mh you better not get carried away with these your numerous boyfriends otherwise ypu might end up getting pregnant and then yoyur father will chase you away,better use condoms okay?"She confidently pukes such idiotious words
".....,"i just look at her like what kind of a mother would advise her child that
"Stacy i better not hear that you have a boyfriend otherwise i will kill you with my own bae hands,"she tells her daughter
Oh so now you are being a mother to your child
"Which phone are you using?"she asks me interestingly glaring at my phone
"Samsung,"i answer not wanting to mention the model
"Ahhh so it's not an iphone or a google pixel phone?Nice nice,i should tell your father to buy me those,it will show you who is the boss around here,"she says looking through the window while smirking really hard
"Okay goodluck,"i answer
She probably thinks that my dad bought this phone for me,hahahaha as cunning as my dad can be,he can't even dare to buy me this kind of expensive phone. I had to work for me to get this phone,first of all i was like his assistant,printing,typing,stapling,reminding him of his meetings and not to talk of working extra hard in class,this is the result of my effort and she thinks that he is going to give it to him for free?How i pity this selfish woman.
.......Tha tha tha,the dinner was suprisingly interesting as she placed the orders herself,how i wish i could laugh at her so mockingily but no i just kept quiet.She thought that if she ordered small for me and large for Stacy i would complain but no she was even shocked to see that i could not even finish the small meal,hahahaha. I had to excuse myself to laugh because i could not hold it,the expression on her face was just what i needed,the people at the restroom where just looking at me i was a lunatic but no am just a simple girl full of laughter.
"Dalitso,"my dad calls me
"Yes dad,"i run downstairs,the moment i hear him call me by name i know that is the moment where everything becomes vanity
"Sit down please,"he says now looking very serious
"May i have your phone please?"He demands and that's when my mind is bulging up those thoughts that the monstrous lady with a cute face must have told him lies
"Anything you want to tell me young lady?"He asks
"Yes,"i answer
"Speak,"he says while sitting down
"Apologies if i will sound disrespectful dad but i am worried about my mother and please help me find her.What if she is lost?What if she is not okay?"I say
"Where your mother is is certainly none of my business and don't you ever mention her name,if you feel like you can not live with this woman then you will have to leave my house and mind you the mpment you leave my house just know that i will no longer fund any of you expenses,"he seriously and arrogantly says,how broken i am
".....The second thing is about this woman,she is not who you think he is,she is rude and she will make my living in this house a living hell please do something about this dad,"i honestly and modestly confess
"It seems like i treat you like a princess excessively,let me remind you that i am still your father never talk to me like that ever again and never tell me what to do.You are taking after your mother,that poor witch,better watch your mouth young lady,"he says
"Sorry,"i say
"Now,you are in a very serious class so i would suggest that i have this phone for now and maybe you will be able to focus on your studies,"he now tells me the reason for taking my phone
"I promise i won't misuse it,"i beg
"I know princess and i understand but these things are just so temptious like you might never even know what you are doing with it,"he says
"Dad please you knpw how hard i worked for this phone and if you take it,i will not be okay,"i tell him trying to convince his brainwashed mind
"Promise me you won't misuse it,"he asks now convinced
"I won't,i promise,"i say
"Fine but don't use it around your mother she keeps pestering me that she wants a new phone,i wonder what is wrong with her itel,"he now blurts
"Okay i will,is that all?"I ask
"Oh yeah before i forget,i am going to a summit tomorrow so you probably won't see me around,"he says
"When will you be back?"I ask
"After 4 days,i won't stay there for that long,"he says
"Mmmmmm okay may i ask you for something?"I ask
"Tell me,"he says
"Share me money please,"i ask smiling widely like a desperate little child
"How much?"He asks
"Enough money for transport and lunch money,"i say
"Okay your mother will give it to you in the morning,"i say
"You can just do a trans id you know,"i say jokingly
"Okay let me transfer it now,"he says,"hide it from your mother though otherwise you will get in trouble for using an expensive phone while she is using an itel,"he jokingly says
"I will just ask a friend of mine to be keeping the phone for me,no problem,"i say
"ok no problem,be good,"he says while he carries himself to his room
"Dalitso,wake up,"my enemy tells me by 3:00
"Okay,"i say while waking up
"You will have to mop the house today since that woman made up an sxcuse for today,"she naughtily tells me like i asked her to
"Be quick you will also have to prepare breakfast,"she tells me as she leaves the room
.....The problem with this woman is that she thinks i will complain,she thinks that i don't know how to clean or do chores oh well,her loss.
...Leaving the house looking spotless and flawless,this woman appears to be in shock.
"Have you already prepared lunch?"She asks me trying to find more chores for me
"Yes i have,if you may excuse me,"i say whilst facing her backwards
"Stop there,what do you take me for?This is not London where you will be busy using that your fancy language with okay,so you better humble ypurself.As if i did not go to class?"she says
To be honest if she did she would not have had an affair with a married man but anyways who am i to judge,let me keep my mouth shut.
"Sorry,"i say then i head up to my room,to sleep and wake up at 6:30 as i am extremely worn out
.....I wake up at 6:45 oh boy and i feel like i am going to be late.
"Mmmm the driver has already gone to drop of your sister,"she tells me seeing me in a rush
"But i wan not up yet,"i say
"I thought you were busy sleeping like the princess you are,"she says while bitting an apple,what is with this woman and apples.
"Okay may you atleast share me the money for transport?"I ask not to make her suspect me
"Ask your mother not me,you did not give me money to keep for you so don't even vomitt such ultracious words,"she says
"Ultracious words?What's that?,"i mumble,"but how am i going to get to school?"i ask like am innoncent
"Call your mother to come pick you up if she has a car that is,"she mockingly says while laughing,oh my poor mother
"Let me get going then,"i say then start to leave with my house keys because i smell something fishy off this woman
....She just keeps on thinking that she is winning and yet she keeps losing,how i wish i could laugh in her face.The words of my mother keep echoing in my ears,make your enemies think that they are winning and you are losing to shock them at the word or as she calls it,the counter attack,how i wish she was here.
