It is five o'clock in the morning and i am shocked to see that the lady of the house is still dreaming by this time of the day. Nothing is prepared,no lunch,no breakfast for his majesty;life will be very interesting in this house.
What makes me wonder the most is how their little princess is still sleeping by this time of the day when she knows that she is supposed to wake up and start getting prepared for school.
"Dalitso,"the beast has awoken,exactly at 6:15
"Yes,"i respond raising the tidal volume of my lungs so as to increase the speed of sound,i ran downstairs
"Yes ukumayankha ndan?"She starts to scold,"you will not answer me like that in this house if u understand what am saying,"she breathes out such cruel vapour
"Sorry mom,"i reply
"Where is A Naphiri?"she asks looking around
"She is not here yet,she comes at 6:30,"i reply
"And what time is this?"she asks
"I don't know,"i lie
"Who is supposed to make breakfast for us if she is not here no am changing the time ikamati 5:00 azikhala ali kuno,"She says,"why am i paying her if she is not fulfiling all of her duties on time,"she finishes her useless statement,i mean you can not claim to pay somebody when you are so lazy
"Ok,"i say
"And why is your sister not up?"she asks
"I don't know,"i say while going to sit down and have my breakfast
"Why are you sitting down when am still talking to you?"she asks
"Sorry ma'am it's just that am getting late for xul,"i answer
"Next time wake your sister up,and you are not leaving until she is done getting ready,"she says while she heads to the kitchen
"ok,"i say while i sit down
....After what seems to be hours,my dad decides to come out of his slumber.
"Princess why are you still here?"He asks,"this is 7:15,"he worries
"Your wife said that i should wait until that little brat wakes up and also gets ready but for some reason she is as slow as a snail thinkng that she owns the whole wide school,"i think to myself
"ehh you must be upset,what are you still waiting for?"He asks
"Mom said i should wait for Stacy to get ready,"i say
"But you are in a very serious class,why would she do that?"He asks me as if i read people's minds
"Go tell the driver to drop you off at xul and tell him to be quick you are already late,"he says
"Ok,"finally i carry my bag and off i go
"Desho,why were you late,"Sharma asks me
"Mh Desho it's hard to explain,"i say
"Eheh the names of late comers have flooded the list and they are going to be punished but don't worry am going to help you out,you know i got you,"she says
"thanks,"i say with atmost relief that atleast the teacher is not in the class yet
"Late comer,"Destiny says,this is also one of my friends,not good but not bad either
"Please,"i answer
"What happened for you to re-write history and come to school late,"she asks
"Traffic issues,"i lie
"Aaa ok well just wanted to invite you to my party this coming saturday,"she says
This is why i said not good,she loves partying and she doesn't hide that fact and the other reason i said not bad is because she is smart however and also invites me to those parties but ofcourse i refuse.
"Mmm this saturday i will be busy...sorry,"i say
"Mmmm when are you ever free?"she asks
"Never,"i answer while laughing
"Ok but it's fine,"she answers while she leaves
"Thanks for understanding honey,"i say
"Good evening mom,"i say to this woman i have to obey no matter what
"And why are you coming home by this time?"she asks while bitting an apple,how i wish she chokes on it
"I was at school?"i answer
"By this time?"she asks
"I was in class,"i answer
"Did i say you were at the bar?Don't i know where your'e coming from?Who dropped you off?"she asks now becoming annoying
"The driver did,"i answer
"Ok,"she says
...Walking downstairs i am wondering what she is wondering,this woman appears to beautifully dangerous,i just have to watch out for my life. I hear her choking on the apple and i feel like jumping so high while laughing but i hold that thought then i remember that i have been wanting to check up on aunt as she is calling out her name.
"Have you been ok?"i ask aunt
"Mmmmmm asisi mwatan kodi? Mukundiyankhulisa m'chingerezi as if mu kalasi ndinalowamo?"she jokingly says,"anyways,mmmmm you will need to be strong because this woman has got schemes up her sleeves,"
"I also thought the same but how did she treat you today?"i ask
"Mmm nothing that i can't handle,"she answers confidently
"Ok i was worried,"i reply
"I know,"she says as she is busy preparing dinner,"she commanded me to be sleeping here,"she starts up to what seems to be a very interesting topic
"But why would she do that?Does she know about your current condition?"i ask
"She doesn't care however i was able to find alternative ways and i can manage to be staying here,"she says
"She is asking you to stay so that she can maltreat you properly,"i add
"Hahaha,i can handle her ehe who prepared breakfast in the morning?"she asks with a such a curious face.
"I did ofcourse,sleeping beauty was enjoying her beauty sleep,"i answer
"Hehe,she better not hear you say that,"she answers signaling me to keep it to myself
"The number you've dialed can not be reached at the moment,please try again later,"the lady on the phone says
I have been trying my mom's number since yesterday but it can't go through,i am extremely worried.
"Hello,"i say
"Hello,can you call a bit later,i am busy with something,"aunt Melisa says
This has just increased my worry because atleast she is suposed to know the whereabouts of my mother but with her never ending busyness i am afraid that i will never be able to disclose my mother's current location.
"Dalitso,"my dad shouts loudly from downstairs,sounds like i am in trouble oh well let me go and see what it is.
"Yes dad,"i answer as i am running downstairs like a wild cat is chasing me.
"Who prepared breakfast in the morning?"he asks with a stern and sharp look,looks like sleeping beauty is going to get into trouble
"I did,"i answer
"Ok,that's all i needed to know,"he says now looking at my nemesis,"this should be the first and the last time i am hearing this from her,she goes to school and i would like to her to focus on her studies ,"he finishes.
I feel like bursting out in laughter because it is burning in the inside of me but i just decide to extinguish it and let the vapour come out as a smirk,a very malicious smirk to be specific.
"Darling,she is just a child?When will she learn to look after this family huh?She needs to practice,"she says in a very seducing tone
"I have made my point so clear,"he says unleashing his bitterness in him.
Up he goes and down she goes,wow what a scene.
"What are you waiting for,go and get ready,we are going out,"she says looking at me as if she has been chewing ginger and has just swallowed it,the pain hahahaha.
