Ryuji follows Natsuya as he tracks the portal down. After around 30 seconds of running to the designated portal, they found it, but there were demons about the size of humans. Natsuya grabbed the Horn Dagger to exterminate the demons in front of him and Ryuji.
Natsuya: "*Checking the hunter system* E-Grades... Level 9... I can take care of this."
He swings the Horn Dagger horizontally from the back to the front, to start a move to sever the demons.
Hunter System: "Active Skill: Sawblade. Mastery Level 5."
The afterimage of the slashes repelled, as the demons evaporate with agony, with the effects of prolonged burning and bleeding. Natsuya and Ryuji run toward the portal, trying to end the source of the demons appearing near them.
Natsuya: "*Running inside the realm* Follow me."
They entered the realm, which resembled a catacomb, and then they saw the hallways of terror, where demons were hiding behind the walls.
Currently, Ryuji has no mana left; the only effective skill he can use is to track the nearby demons.
Ryuji's Hunter System: "Active Skill: Omniscient Vision."
The skill made him see the demons hiding behind the walls. He went behind the barriers and saw them lurking in the shadows with horror.
Ryuji's Hunter System: "Peeking Demons. Level 10."
He soon started to perform an attack without using mana.
The demon attempts to jump at Ryuji, but he gets hold of a demon and slams it to the ground. After getting hit, the demon bounces from the impact it dealt with the ground. He kicks the demon heavily with all of his right leg, gaining mana.
Ryuji's Hunter System: "Current mana: ~15.1%. Significant figures: 3."
Ryuji: "*Checking the mana bar quickly, close to ~15.2 mana.* 15.185%."
Ryuji's Hunter System: "Correct. Gained 65% mana, 20% mana boost, 30% speed boost, 11% damage, 20% resistance."
Natsuya sees Ryuji fight the demons. A large and crawling demon goes up to Natsuya, trying to crush him with its bare hands.
Natsuya: "*Checks the Hunter System* Level 12? I can handle that."
He grabs the Horn Dagger, performing another attack.
Natsuya's Hunter System: "Active Skill: Threefold Vertical Slice."
For the attack, he swings the daggers up and down for his right, front, and left side rapidly in under a second; it obliterates the demon instantly as soon as the giant slashes hit.
Natsuya: "*Reacts to the hunter system not replying, expecting him to gain a level* No level this time? This is below my level, and the experience points drop a few."
He looks at Ryuji, fighting the demons near him.
Ryuji runs fast at them, striking a fatal shot with his right fist, killing them in sight, draining and gaining mana at the same time, except for more mana. He sees another group of demons and guesses again with the significant figures.
Ryuji's Hunter System: Current Mana: ~70.8%. Significant figures: 2."
Ryuji: "70.835%!"
Ryuji's Hunter System: "30% damage."
He tackled the demons viscerally before jumping into the air and kicking them to the ground, killing a few of them.
Ryuji: "Serves you right, you're done for!"
Ryuji's Hunter System: Current Mana: ~82.7%. Significant figures: 4."
Ryuji: "Point 745!"
Ryuji's Hunter System: "40% damage. 20% life drain."
While grounded, he dashes and elbows the demons, injuring them, then infuses his mana with his hand and snaps his fingers, leaving out a large, deadly sound wave, shattering them into pieces.
The rest of them notice him killing their faction, and they form a horde to pin him down to end his life.
Ryuji's Hunter System: Current Mana: ~92.4%. Significant figures: 6."
Ryuji: "*Trying to lethally punch the demons with his right fist, infusing it with mana* Point 415."
The red energy within his fist hardens, as it fully flourishes around it, implying its strong and dangerous nature. At the same time, he critically blitzes and punches them, causing a large explosion and pulverizing them.
Ryuji's Hunter System: "Level up. Current Level: 44."
Ryuji: "Critical Strike. This is called the Perfect Angle."
After the strike, he stands in position waiting for the boss to come. For a moment, there was silence, except for Natsuya watching him and his daily quest menu updating.
Daily Quests: "23 hours, 26 minutes remaining. 4/5: Clear E-Grade Realms. 32/50: Level Up. 0/1: Clear the C-Rank Diamond Dimension."
Natsuya: "Nice technique! It's very versatile, and yet... precise. You had to put in math to perform one move that can kill off an entire horde of demons."
Ryuji: "Well, that's literally the name. Also, there is no boss, I believe."
Natsuya: "Really? I thought there were bosses in every realm! I cleared 3 realms with bosses in them."
Ryuji: "Well, this one is... different. Many realms have none, but I guess you were lucky finding them."
Natsuya: "If that's the case, I lost my luck now."
Ryuji: "It doesn't matter about luck, it matters on your own survival. Bosses can be deadly or fatal."
Natsuya: "The one I fought wasn't a boss; he looked like one due to the size difference and the highest level in this realm except us."
Ryuji: "But in the end, he's not. Let's find one more E-Grade realm for you to finish your quest."
Natsuya: "Yeah!"
