As soon as Natsuya and Ryuji run out of the portal, they hear an explosion, and civilians screaming, and then to the point when blood splattering was heard. The sounds of terror were on their left, seeing a gigantic wave of piercing diamonds around the city, seeing the people dead and injured at the same time, from the sharp diamond projectiles from the portal the incident originates from.
The Admin: "C-Grade Portal: The Diamond Dimension."
Natsuya: "This is it! The final mission to complete my daily quest!"
Ryuji: "Man, you have a lot in your quest."
Natsuya: "But it's worth it, I've seen my significant power change ever since I killed the first D-Grade demon I encountered. Come on, let's clear the realm, then get the hell out of here!"
Ryuji: "Roger that!"
The two ran to the portal in seconds, distancing themselves from the projectile radius in order not to get impaled by the shards. Moments later, there was a mysterious being with knight armor, but with horns indicating its demonic presence. The material of its armor is sparkling, tough diamonds, and gauntlets with stinging fingers.
Natsuya's Hunter System: "The Diamond Guardian. C-Grade Boss."
Natsuya: "Maximum effort, Natsuya. C-Grades are a whole new level."
Ryuji: "It's between you and us, Diamond man!"
The Diamond Guardian runs up to them, attempting to slice through their body, which they ultimately do at such speed. Ryuji quickly punted the Guardian's foot, but it retaliated by grabbing him by his right arm tightly, which agonizes him as the grip is very sharp due to the diamond material.
Natsuya quickly acted by grabbing his Horn Dagger and hitting through its armor, which is very substantial. He saw Ryuji getting grabbed violently, as his arm kept bleeding from the Guardian's grip.
Ignoring his pain, Ryuji finally pulled his arm out and started to punch the Guardian heavily, which resulted in him getting bleeding knuckles from the sharp armor. However, he did not get any mana from this, which made him feel hopeless. The Guardian quickly slashed Ryuji's body with its claw, causing him to be moderately injured.
Natsuya: "Ryuji! Stay somewhere safe!"
Ryuji: "*Crawling away from the guardian* Don't worry about me... I'll be fine."
Natsuya roughly pushes the Guardian away from Ryuji, with the strength infused in his arm, despite leaving some bruises. The Guardian started to face Natsuya, as it sharpens its claws, and he holds his Horn Dagger tightly.
Natsuya: "These injuries are nothing. As long as it's not my heart, I will be fine."
Natsuya and The Guardian charged together, forming a clash between his dagger and the Guardian's claw. A few moments later, he noticed how strong the claws are; it aimed to crush his dagger, which was successfully and quickly taken out of its grip. But, Natsuya remembered he could bring back the dagger from the inventory, equipping it again.
Natsuya: "*Notices the Guardian leaving his head vulnerable, and thinking* The critical point should be the head. If I flashily cut it, it's going to die."
The Guardian instantly notices Natsuya's strategy and then uses its claw to grab his head violently, almost breaking his skull, sending him flying until the Guardian jumps high to slam him through the floor.
Natsuya: "*Getting back on his feet* H-He's fast!"
As he stands up holding his dagger, the Guardian charges at Natsuya at a breakneck speed, delivering four heavy scratches to his body. He tried blocking the attacks with his arms, but it provided some defense, but still hurt him.
Natsuya's Hunter System: "Current Mana: 15%."
With him gaining little mana, he performs a move to attempt to destabilize the Guardian's armor.
Natsuya's Hunter System: "Active Skill: Armor Breaker."
The Guardian cancels his move by spewing shards of diamonds through both palms, which hit his left arm, disabling his attack.
Natsuya tries to hide his pain, but it keeps tormenting him. He dashes behind the Guardian and kicks its head roughly.
It had shattered some parts of its helmet, but it notices him revolting and strikes him on his chin up high in the air, then it leaps high to kick him to a building, then dashes flashily to where he felt the impact, where there was debris from the building, which he instantly picks up and throws at him heavily. He threw a few of them right at his body after the first throw, dashing at him while he struggles in the air. It uses its foot to crash him to the ground, severely injuring him.
