The team tried sweeping off the large rocks in the entrance of the tunnel, but it wouldn't budge, as if it were a permanent structure.
Kazuto: "*Knocking on the rubble* SANG-GUK!!! AKUZEMI!!! JONG-DO!!! HOW DARE YOU BETRAY US!!!"
Natsuya: "I knew this would happen... why did I keep thinking about the corporation for too much?!?!!??"
Gyu: "Let's wait until death."
Natsuya: "*Remembers having the Infernal Slasher* OH! I REMEMBER! I HAVE THE INFERNAL SLASHER!! I CAN BREAK OUT OF THIS RUBBLE HERE!"
Kazuto: "Oh, Yeah! That would- hold on.. let me check.."
He uses his hunter system to check the type of weapon, but it is not a type to can cut through hard material.
"Sorry mate, this is not efficient for breaking out of this rubble."
Natsuya: "Does anybody else have a weapon?"
All Except Natsuya: "No..."
Natsuya: "I am very unlucky today. They took The Diamond Slasher, which can slice through rocks."
Kazuto: "Ah, crap! You had to bring this in the worst context possible!"
Natsuya was never this hopeless. He has anxiety running up, walking to the deeper part of the blocked tunnel.
Natsuya: "I guess, we will spend the rest of our lives- is that another realm?"
In front of him was a bright, green lighting inside a giant open gate, which we walked through, finding out it was a giant Temple. It had tall, large statues and torches that emitted green fire.
The Team, except Natsuya: "What is this place?"
The team walked inside the temple, seeing the giant statues resembling Joseon-era scholars. On the entrance, there were two blindfolded figures next to the frame of the gate left and right, On the On the left, two with helmets and scythes, On the right, there two with billhooks, on the center, there lies a statue wearing a gat, different from the other ones, on the left of the statue on the center are two holding anvils, and on the right shows two with holding clocks. In the middle of the temple, there are five unlit torches surrounding a closed well. No demons were around, and the temple is dormant.
Natsuya: "It's a giant temple, and empty. *Looking at a gate at the left* AN EXIT!"
Gyu: "Guys, follow him! We have hope!"
The team follows Natsuya to the left gate, ready for pushing it so the team can get out of here. They are not so sure for the gate being the exit, judging how old the temple is. The D-Grades told us to put our hands on it and to give all the strength they have to open up the gates.
Kazuto: "You sure this would work?"
Gyu: "We'll see! If it works, we have the chance to catch them jackasses! Curse Sang-guk!"
D-Grade Hunter: "Guys! Focus your strength on pushing! Think about the betrayal, convert that anger to your strength!"
Natsuya: "You guys ready?"
All: "YEAH!"
D-Grade Hunters: "*Hands on the gate* On 1- 3, 2, 1! PUSH!"
They started to push the gate; some hunters charged at the door for more strength. It would be a good method, but it ended up in failure, so they insisted on pushing.
Rest of the team: "*Pushing as hard as it can* PUSH!!!!!!!!!"
The team pushes the gate, but it didn't move. They tried pushing it hard again, still, no movement. That is when the torches on the gates turned green to red. It is like the throne sensed the team. The statues near the gate twitched, threatening them with its scythe. They opened their eyes, making a frightening eye contact, telling that they would kill them.
Kazuto: "The temple is alive! They know we are in here! Run!"
Kazuto tried running to the entrance where the team came from, the torch turned green, and on the high ceiling, giant bricks fell. He was very close to where the bricks would land, crushing him, leaving nothing but blood under the rubble.
Gyu: "*In Shock* Kazuto!!"
Natsuya: "*Whimpering heavily after witnessing Kazuto's death* We're all going to die."
This made him feel petrified, freezing in horror, as he saw every detail of his death, including him desperately attempting to open the gate.
