As soon as the elevator stopped, they stepped out and headed down the corridor. Lee and Chung led him to his door, handed him the keycard, and opened the room for him before all three stepped inside.
Lee: "These rooms are supposed to be the C-Grades, and you'd better be skilled someday since you wanted to be."
Chung: "*Bowing with respect* Well, Thank You for choosing the Corporation, and your Survival is your Safety."
The two close the door, and Natsuya contacts his friends. He checked his messages until he was ultimately shocked by the group chat.
Arayuki Jan 1, 5:23 pm: "Natsuya, we're finished with the orientation. Where are you?"
Akira Jan 1, 6:10 pm: "Natsuya?? Where are you???"
Arayuki Jan 1, 6:10 pm: "I'm in my house and checking the news... It's about an incident on a realm."
Akira Jan 1, 6:10 pm: "What is the Grade of the realm?"
Arayuki Jan 1, 6:11 pm: "It's not a realm."
Akira Jan 1, 6:11 pm: "What?"
Arayuki Jan 1, 6:14 pm: "It's a Dimensional Infusion."
Akira Jan 1, 6:15 pm: "What does that mean?"
Arayuki Jan 1, 6:15 pm: "It's when a realm leads to another graded or ungraded realm. Speaking of it, a body or a corpse is lying on that realm's ground. I'm not sure if it is real, but it looks like it."
Akira Jan 1, 6:15 pm: "Wait... is that... Natsuya?? I'm checking the news, and it said he died on the S-Grade realm."
Arayuki Jan 1, 6:16 pm: "It's true... he's deceased. I also see an empty bag that used to be our weapons."
Akira Jan 1, 6:17 pm: "He's dead?? No... NOOOOOOOO!!!!"
Arayuki Jan 1, 6:17 pm: "... I'm crying too."
Akira Jan 2, 12:19 pm: "It's not the same.... Not the same."
Natsuya trembled, trying to send a message confirming he's alive, until a User Interface popped up, and stopped his movement as he typed.
Natsuya: "Is this... the hunter system?"
Hunter System: "*Typing* Welcome to The Admin. The Assistant of The Hunter System. The System is activated from your body. What lies in your body is the Creation's Will."
Natsuya pulls up his shirt, trying to find the Creation's Will, but he couldn't find it, until The Admin states,
The Admin: "You may not find the Creation's Will from checking your body physically, but to see its existence, check the accessories equipped. It is currently equipped, and you cannot take it off."
Natsuya: "*Checks the Accessories Frame, finding a bright sphere surrounded by fragments of unknown material* Does it stay there permanently?"
The Admin: "It is a bond to the deal that if you escape death, you will face a big penalty. This is the penalty. The Creation's Will is unremovable till death. The benefits of it are activating the Admin, the Advanced Version of The Hunter System. Unlike the other hunters, you have a special ability to accept quests from the System, automatically perform advanced move sets, and, crucially, if you make a blunder, there may be serious punishments. Do not take it for granted; it can be fatal if abused too much. For the next three days, the Admin will be easy on you. When those days pass, it gets serious from there on."
Natsuya: "I always hate it when pros are not standalone, when cons are added, fair point! You learned the meaning of balance!"
The Admin: "I stopped the use of your phone because you have to hunt the right way. I have collected all the data from your memory, and it shows that you never put in effort. I am trying to help you, but the distractions are the priority. I know you are trying to confirm you're alive, but statistics show your friends are currently traumatized. Will let you know when they reach the state of acceptance. Other than your hunting gadget, I will be personal to you."
Natsuya: "What's my first task?"
The Admin: "I will give out your Daily Quest. If not completed within 24 hours, they will get progressively harder until you complete a quest that's more difficult than the current one. This is to improve your hunting skills, and eventually, they will become easier and possibly optional once I analyze your effort and skills."
The System shifts to a frame of daily quests, so Natsuya performs the tasks.
Daily Quests: "23 hours, 59 minutes remaining. 0/5: Clear E-Grade Realms. 0/50: Level Up. 0/1: Clear the C-Rank Diamond Dimension."
Natsuya: "Wiping E-Rank realms is impossible! Leveling up may be difficult, but not sure how it works. The C-Rank Diamond Dimension? Where can I find that?
The Admin: "This will be explained later, but for now, wipe the E-Rank realms and Level Up."
The Hunter System and The Admin close, leaving Natsuya ready for his quest. He had no weapons, but his fists to punch his opponents. Starting as Level 0, he wears his jacket, ties his shoes, opens and closes the room door as he goes out to hunt.
Natsuya: "*Closing the door, heading to the elevator* Where can I find the E-Grade realms? This is technically my first time as a hunter. I have no knowledge of which realms are which."
When he reached the elevator, a guide next to it showed:
"One: Upper Lobby (Realms)
Negative One: Quarters (Resting)"
Natsuya: "The Upper Lobby. Most likely, they will show me E-Grade realms."
