The battlefield had turned into complete chaos.
Broken lights flickered above the HVIS plaza while the sound of fighting echoed through the empty CLASSROOMS
Hundreds of fighters surrounded Jay.
But instead of fear…
She looked bored.
Another group of attackers rushed her from the left.
One swung a long metal rod toward her head.
Jay ducked smoothly, the rod cutting through the air above her.
Before the attacker could react—
THUD.
Her fist slammed into his stomach.
The man folded instantly.
Jay grabbed his shoulder and threw him straight into two other fighters charging from behind.
They crashed to the ground in a tangled heap.
But there was no pause.
Five more attackers charged at once.
One lunged with a knife.
Another aimed a heavy punch.
Jay stepped forward instead of retreating.
Her hand caught the knife wielder's wrist.
She twisted sharply.
The knife fell.
With the same motion she pulled the attacker forward and drove her knee into his chest.
CRACK.
He collapsed immediately.
The second fighter swung toward her face.
Jay leaned back slightly.
His fist missed by inches.
Her counterattack came instantly.
A spinning kick struck the side of his head.
The man dropped before his body even finished turning.
Two more rushed her from both sides.
Jay moved between them like a shadow.
One quick elbow strike.
One precise kick to the knee.
Both attackers fell simultaneously.
From behind the battlefield barrier, Section E watched in stunned silence.
Thyme shook his head slowly.
"She's literally walking through them."
MJ laughed in disbelief.
"I'm starting to feel bad for those guys."
Kavin crossed his arms.
"Bad?"
"They signed up for this."
Kuya Angelo rubbed his forehead.
"My little sister…"
"…is beating up an army."
Keifer watched quietly.
But there was pride in his eyes.
Back in the center of the battlefield, the attackers had begun to hesitate.
Their numbers were still massive.
But fear had started spreading.
Every person who rushed Jay fell within seconds.
One of the fighters shouted angrily.
"Don't stop!"
"Attack together!"
Nearly twenty fighters charged at the same time.
Jay exhaled slowly.
"Finally."
The first attacker swung a chain toward her neck.
Jay stepped forward instead of back.
She grabbed the chain midair and yanked hard.
The attacker stumbled forward.
Her knee struck his face instantly.
Another fighter lunged from behind.
Jay spun around.
Her heel smashed into his ribs.
He flew across the pavement.
Two more rushed her with batons.
Jay ducked under the first strike and swept her leg across the ground.
Both attackers lost their balance and crashed down.
Before they could stand—
Two quick strikes knocked them unconscious.
More fighters surrounded her.
Ten.
Fifteen.
Twenty.
Weapons raised.
But Jay's movements became even faster.
Her punches landed like lightning.
Her kicks moved with perfect precision.
Every strike dropped another fighter.
The battlefield slowly filled with unconscious bodies.
Then suddenly—
BANG.
A gunshot echoed.
Everyone froze.
Jay's eyes flicked upward instantly.
Far above the amusement park, hidden on a rooftop across the street…
A sniper had appeared.
The red laser sight aimed directly at Jay's arm.
Section E saw it at the same time.
"JAY!"
But Jay didn't move.
Not even an inch.
Instead she calmly stepped forward and knocked another attacker unconscious.
Another shot fired.
The bullet grazed her hand.
A thin line of blood appeared.
Kuya Angelo clenched his fists.
"Why didn't she move?!"
Keifer's eyes narrowed.
"…She saw it."
Meanwhile Jay continued fighting like nothing had happened.
Her injured hand still moving perfectly.
Another attacker rushed her.
She blocked his strike and flipped him over her shoulder.
Then she kicked a fallen metal pipe across the ground.
The pipe struck another fighter in the legs, dropping him instantly.
Within minutes…
The battlefield fell silent.
The last attacker collapsed.
Hundreds of fighters lay across the amusement park plaza.
Jay stood in the center.
Still calm.
Still breathing evenly.
Not even looking tired.
From behind, Section E slowly walked toward her.
Thyme looked around the battlefield.
"…I think that's all of them."
MJ whistled.
"Two thousand five hundred fighters."
"And she handled most of them alone."
Kuya Angelo grabbed Jay's hand suddenly.
He noticed the blood.
"YOU'RE INJURED!"
Jay shrugged slightly.
"It's nothing."
Keifer frowned.
"No."
"We all saw the sniper."
"You saw him too."
Aries nodded.
"Then why didn't you dodge?"
Percy crossed his arms.
"Yeah."
"You could have avoided that easily."
Jay looked at them calmly.
Then she gave a small smile.
"I needed an excuse."
Everyone blinked.
"…Excuse?"
Jay wiped the blood from her hand casually.
"To take a break from school tomorrow."
For a moment—
Complete silence.
Then Thyme burst out laughing.
"You got SHOT…"
"…to skip school?!"
MJ almost fell over laughing.
"That's insane."
Kuya Angelo grabbed Jay's ear again.
"YOU IDIOT!"
Jay winced.
"KUYA! LET GO!"
Keifer shook his head while smiling.
"Only you would get shot just to avoid school."
Jay crossed her arms proudly.
"Worth it."
But none of them noticed something important.
From the shadows beyond the battlefield…
A powerful figure had been watching everything.
And now…
The real final test was about to begin.
