Today was the first board meeting Salvar was going to attend as a shareholder.
So, Salvar thought it would be good idea to set alarm at the earliest of the morning.
The alarm went off once.
Salvar did not move.
It went off again.
Salvar moved slightly.
Specifically his hand, which found the phone and addressed the situation temporarily.
The third time the alarm went off, Salvar sat up with the energy of someone who had lost a negotiation with himself and was accepting the terms ungracefully. His eyes were doing that thing where they were technically open but not yet processing. His hair remained tangled, and he ran a hand through it without consciousness.
He sat on the edge of the bed for a moment.
Then he stood.
He walked down the hall and knocked on Skyler's door.
"Skyler."
A sound came from inside that remained buried in the pillow at best and did not bother coming out properly.
"I have a meeting. Manage Milo."
