"Yes, Your Highness," the soldier replied.
Anisha turned to Nhel knowingly. The both of them knew there was nothing like an intruder.
"Can I at least see her?" Anisha asked, but the soldier refuted apologetically.
Anisha hated that she couldn't do anything.
"Don't worry, she'll be alright," Nhel assured and guided Anisha out of the dungeon.
A few steps away from the dungeon, they came across Williams, with two guards strolling alongside him.
His eyes locked with Nhel's, and he gave him a piercing gaze. Nhel returned a small smirk.
Anisha instinctively gripped Nhel as Williams' eyes came to rest on her. His lips lifted into a somewhat mischievous smirk. However, to Anisha's surprise, he didn't say a word as he passed them.
Anisha stopped.
She glanced back and couldn't help but feel unsettled.
"What if he's harsh on her just because she's my servant?"
Nhel wished there was something he could do, but in this case, there was nothing.
