Proof of God
In the center of a pitch-black chamber stood a perfectly square table.
Beneath a single spotlight, seven figures sat upon stone thrones.
Each belonged to a different species.
One of them, an elderly human, turned his gaze toward the center of the table.
A hologram materialized.
The face of a young man appeared.
"Messiah Christ. The prophesied savior of all life, non-life, time, space, and dimensions—the one destined to fulfill our prophecy."
A creature whose body resembled an almost perfectly spherical mass of scales, with no discernible face, projected its thoughts through telepathy.
"And yet... there is no proof that he is a god."
Another being, a single enormous eye from which countless slender tentacles extended, responded.
"The fact that he can create life and move freely across the universe, dimensions, time, and space is certainly not something to overlook."
A being composed entirely of pure energy, shaped like a glowing ring, transmitted its thoughts.
"Those feats alone do not prove divinity. In time, all intelligent life abandons the physical body, becomes an Astral Soul, and ascends into a higher existence. We have approached the realm of gods ourselves. To such beings, time and space have little meaning."
The ring-shaped entity continued.
"If that is the case, then there is still no proof that he is a god."
A feminine figure enveloped in emerald-green flames shimmered brilliantly.
"His battles against the Devils and the Dark Core have produced remarkable results. Not a single prophecy has failed. Is that not what truly matters?"
An insect-like being spoke in a voice that sounded like wood striking against wood.
"The path toward the True World remains unobstructed. There is no cause for concern."
A life-form as thin as a single sheet of paper added quietly,
"Then... is he a god, or is he not?"
The ring-shaped energy being asked the question once more.
The elderly human finally answered.
"What we require is a god who follows the scenario exactly as written. Nothing more."
Silence followed.
No one offered another word.
The debate could never truly end.
Because...
God could never be proven.
Proof of God — End
