[At the End of the Battle]
In the pitch-black void, thunderous explosions reverberated as countless objects resembling droplets of mist vanished one after another.
This was the space beyond the Omniverse—a realm beyond the comprehension of human intelligence.
There, two giants were fighting.
Each point of light in the misty rain, each droplet seemingly floating in the darkness, was an Omniverse.
The universe continued eternally into infinity upon infinity upon infinity, and beyond its outermost reaches, infinity repeated itself forever, extending endlessly into yet another exterior realm.
In addition, there existed eternal timelines branching infinitely from every conceivable point in time.
And there were the creations of intelligent lifeforms, along with the countless possibilities that existed before those creations were ever completed.
The collective of universes containing all such worlds was called the Omniverse.
And within this space, they extended endlessly—an infinity raised to an infinity, raised to another infinity, and onward without end.
Yet there were beings capable of destroying them all.
The White Wilderness—entities that destroyed every world.
The gods and the Dark Cores.
But there were also beings beyond them, beings capable of destroying this world where everything had converged.
They were destined to fight for eternity.
No one knew when they had first appeared, nor when their battle had begun.
Perhaps what was happening now was merely a fleeting instant within a battle that had continued forever.
These giants, known as the "Two-Sided Ones," were so enormous that neither humanity nor any lifeform inhabiting the Omniverse could perceive their true scale.
They were simply that vast.
That overwhelming.
One was a humanoid giant resembling crimson flames.
The other was a giant formed from green flames, shaped into the likeness of a humanoid figure.
Were they living beings?
Machines?
No one knew.
Not even the gods.
All that was known was that their battle had already begun before human history existed, before the birth of the universe itself—and that even after the universe ceased to exist, their battle would probably continue.
What was their purpose?
What drove these incomprehensibly enormous beings to fight?
What existed at the end of their battle?
No one knew.
They simply continued to deny one another's existence, endlessly fighting, and every fist they threw, every single blow they exchanged, erased countless Omniverses from existence.
Eventually, the gods who comprehended the Omniverse would surely intervene.
But when that battle finally ended, would there still be an Omniverse left?
For now, no one knew.
