[The Colossal War]
Emperor Achilles, who had brought countless Omniverses under his control, had assembled a fleet of colossal vessels, each measuring more than 10 Graham-meters in length. The fleet numbered an astonishing 12 quadrillion vessels, and now it was advancing beyond the boundaries of the Omniverse.
Carrier-based craft known as Horus Machines were launching one after another.
Behind the fleet, the walls of the Omniverse reflected the Emperor's armada like enormous sheets of glass.
Activating their phase-space engines, capable of breaking through dimensional barriers, the fleet emerged beyond the outer boundary of this Omniverse.
The beginning of this immense war had been caused by something remarkably trivial.
Emperor Achilles had been holding a conference with another version of himself from a parallel world.
Throughout his journey, he had traveled across countless worlds and multidimensional universes. By bringing his alternate selves under his command, he had succeeded in constructing this enormous fleet.
Yet the Emperor's enemy was another version of himself from a different Omniverse.
That was the truth.
He had come into conflict with himself—and that conflict had eventually escalated into war.
It had happened two months earlier, according to Earth Standard Time.
Another Emperor, who had been expanding his influence within a different Omniverse, had proposed an alliance.
His purpose was to confront yet another opposing Omniverse.
Naturally, Emperor Achilles himself had been willing to accept the proposal.
But then it happened.
The moment the protective field surrounding the Omniverse was deactivated and the emissaries were allowed inside, a massive enemy fleet suddenly surged into the Omniverse.
Enraged by the betrayal, the Emperor immediately annihilated the invading fleet and began preparations for an emergency counterattack.
This time, the Emperor had no intention of allowing the battle to drag on.
His strategy was simple: swiftly end the battle outside the Omniverse, then immediately launch an invasion into the enemy Omniverse.
However, Emperor Achilles was not the type to devise elaborate strategies or intricate schemes.
He chose instead to break through with overwhelming force in a direct frontal assault.
And so, a newly constructed ultimate weapon was prepared outside the Omniverse.
It possessed a humanoid form, but its appearance was that of a gigantic warrior clad in armor.
It was comparable in size to the entire Omniverse itself.
It was so unimaginably enormous that its full form could not be comprehended by the naked eye.
"If we win, give me a planet. I want one all to myself, okay?"
The pilot was one of the Emperor's oldest companions.
Standing on the enormous bridge, the Emperor gave a faint smile.
"Anything you want. Go fight however you please."
That was the signal.
The ultimate weapon began its advance.
It was only one being, yet its colossal body surpassed every weapon possessed by the enemy.
The outcome of what lay ahead was already painfully obvious.
