Chapter 7 - (Snooping.)

Chapter seven:

Travis has been all over the place, trying to find Frodo. Hours have went by and he still cannot find Frodo. He looked inside rooms and went down hallways, however, he was still not able to find any trace of Frodo. They have not once crossed paths and he was beginning to worry about that. He needed to find the ring for his father Sauron.

Travis was walking outside, near one of the buildings when he saw more elves on horseback. Travis stopped walking and looked down at the elves. There was one in particular that caught his attention. She was in front of the other elves. She had a long brown ponytail and her eyes were a crystal blue. She hopped off her horse and immediately started looking around. She eventually saw Travis in the distance. Their eyes locked only for a minute, before he walked away.

Travis continued to search for the ring and Frodo, but he was still unsuccessful. He eventually stumbled onto a library. He walked into the library and started looking at all of the books. Some were laid out on the table, while others were on shelves collecting dust.

Travis ran his fingers on the back of books. There was one book that caught his attention the most. The book cover was black and had a carving of an iron crown of Morgoth. It creeped Travis out, but at the same time, it reminded him of his father Sauron.

Travis took the book and began reading. He got so involved with the book, to the point where nothing around him mattered. As if time has stopped, so that he could read. Everything the book said about his father Sauron. The things that he and Morgoth did and what they are capable of. Travis couldn't believe what he was reading. The book gave him another perspective on things. Is his father really suppose to rule Middle Earth?

Just then, as he was reading, someone behind him put their hand on his shoulder. Travis quickly stopped reading and turned around, only to find the elf who he saw on horse back.

"Forgive me sir, I did not mean to sterile you." Said Princess Arwen.

Travis did not reply but smiled at her.

"It's okay. I was just leaving." Replied Travis.

"Oh I see, that is a bummer though." Said Princess Arwen.

Travis laughed. There was something about her that intrigued him so much, but he didn't know why.

"What is your name?" Replied Princess Arwen.

"I'm Travis. What is your's?" Said Travis.

"Princess Arwen of the Rivendell realm." Replied Princess Arwen.

They then bowed to each other. Nothing further went on between them because the guards came to fetch Arwen. They said goodbye to each other and Travis headed out of the library. He made his way back to his horse, where he changed out of the clothes and put the cloak back on.

Travis hopped on his horse and rode a path near the building, but not near enough to where he could be seen. Travis knew that there was something important taking place today because elves, dwarves and humans were assembling. So, he needed to find a place where he could see what was going on.

(In Mordor.)

The Witch-king of Angmar stood before Sauron. He bowed his head to his master, who was wondering why he returned without his adopted son, Travis. Sauron was growing tired of waiting. He had plans for the days to come and he wanted everything in order.

"Where is my son?" Said Sauron.

"Travis is currently following the ring, my lord. He demanded that he keep looking for the ring." Replied the Witch-king of Angmar.

"Why has he stayed then? Certainly my son has a reason to disobey my orders." Said Sauron.

The Witch-king of Angmar was not pleased to say this, but it was better than nothing.

"Travis claimed that we let you down, since we could not retrieve the ring, my lord." Replied the Witch-king of Angmar.

"He is not entirely wrong, Witch-king of Angmar. Travis is many things, but he has never been one to be sloppy or let me down. You would be wise to learn from him. I will let him follow in pursuit of the ring, but if he does not have it in my certain time then I will need him to stop pursuing the ring so that my plans can take affect." Said Sauron.

"Of course, my lord." Replied the Witch-king of Angmar.
