Chapter 10:
It took Travis a while to reach Isengard, but he finally made it. He slowed his horse down into a walk, so that Sadron could rest and have a breather. Just seeing the tower made Travis angry and disgusted. He hated going there so much but there was nothing he could do. He had his orders and he needed to follow his father's wishes.
Travis rode past the wall and saw many orcs. Some were bringing in tree's, while others were making weapons and armor for the battle that will soon come. Travis didn't like the orcs. They were so annoying and filthy. When he was younger, he had a temper, so when ever he was in a bad mood or didn't like the orcs around him he would just fight them so he had an excuse to kill them. He wanted to hop off his horse right now and kill the one's staring at him, as he rode by. But, he didn't because he knew that would put his father's plans back and he would severely be punished for a mistake like that.
Travis held his head high and didn't make eye contact with any of the orc's. They stared at him and stopped their work, as he rode towards the tower. They must have thought that he was the Witch-king of Angmar because of his cloak, but sadly for them, it was their masters son.
Travis stopped in front of the tower. Saruman quickly came out of his tower to greet him. Saruman was dressed in white and held his staff in his hand.
"Travis, my lord it's good to see you again." Said Saruman.
Travis didn't reply right away to Saruman. He took off his hood and looked around the orc's, who began to tremble with fear. He flung his right leg around his horse and hopped off. He held the reins in his hand, while he walked forward.
"I wish I could say it's nice to see you too, Saruman." Replied Travis.
Saruman immediately had a sad face. Travis could tell that he was getting to him, like he always did. Travis didn't think he has ever gotten over the fact that his father preferred his work over his, but oh well. He can't help being his master's son.
"You there, help our masters son with his horse." Said Saruman.
The orc was hesitant at first, but he slowly went over to Travis. He took the reins from his hand. Travis walked around the orc and over to Saruman. He led him into the tower, where they walked into a private room, that had the Palantir of Orthanic in the middle of the room.
"I heard that the fellowship has taken the Cardhras pass. I take it you had something to do with that." Replied Saruman.
"Skip the friendly conversation, Saruman. I hope you summoned me to Isengard for more than just a friendly conversation." Said Travis.
"My master Sauron, would like you to follow the fellowship as much as possible. However, when the time comes you will meet my army at Helms Deep for the battle that is supposed to come." Replied Saruman.
"I very well know the plan, Saruman. Don't worry, I'll meet your army at Helms Deep." Said Travis.
Saruman smiled at him. But it felt weird and made Travis uncomfortable. So, he quickly turned around and walked down the stairs. Saruman followed him outside. Travis saw that the orc's not doing what they were supposed to do. He was angry. How could Saruman let this happen? Their plans would be delayed if they don't start doing what they were supposed to do.
Travis walked over to the orc that was holding Sadron. He then quickly took out his sword and sliced the head off of the orc, that was holding his horse. All of the orc's backed up and panicked. Travis looked at Saruman, who stared at him with anger. He knew that he didn't appreciate him killing his orc, but he needed to do it so he could prove a point.
Travis then pointed his sword at Saruman. "I think it's time that you stop focusing on me and start focusing on your army and what you are supposed to do. So far, I haven't seen an army, but a bunch of orc's who won't stand a chance at Helms Deep. Fix it!" Said Travis.
Travis then put his sword away and galloped out of Isengard. He needed to make his way towards Lorien, so he could meet up with the Fellowship of the Ring. Before he falls too far behind.
