— Omake, Why Adem Doesn't Do Blind Dates —
His friend's fiancé had set him up with her maid of honor. The date went not that great, neither of them had anything in common except for the fact they both knew the same person. Not only that, apparently she had recently gotten out of a 3 year relationship and only gone to this date to get her confidence back, and 'Nothing is gonna happen'. Long story short, he was set up for this to boost her ego. So he got up, paid for his portion of the bill, told her she wasn't worth his time and walked out. After that, he got an angry call from his friend's fiancé, who began berating him. Adem told her to stop shouting, and she didn't, he ended the call, and after that she began to send him dozens of messages calling him a jerk in non so pleasant words. Adem then blocked her number, but then he got a message from his friend, telling him he wasn't invited to the wedding anymore. Adem was shocked as this was a childhood friend he knew for over a decade. He called his friend who told him his fiancé and her maid of honor wouldn't be comfortable with him there, so he wasn't invited. Adem then told him good luck in his marriage, and to not call this number again, and never talked to either of them ever again. But he did hear they got a divorce not one year into the wedding, which he found a little amusing.
— A Couple of Days Later, General POV —
"Have you ever masturbated to yourself?" Rufus asked
"Who the fuck starts a conversation like that?! I just sat down!" Adem said.
"Easy there, big guy, I was asking the lady man over there." Rufus said as he pointed towards Jordan Li.
The intro to Crime Fighting students had gathered up after classes in Luke and Andre's dorm room, and started to play Truth or Dare to get to know each other better. And it just so happens Jordan Li had picked Truth.
Jordan looked around the room before taking a sip from his drink, "Come on, you have to answer, or else what's the point?" Tyler nudged him.
"Yes..." Jordan said and everyone chuckled a little, except for Rufus and his two friend who burst out laughing.
After the laughter died down it was Jordan's turn to ask, "Truth or dare?" he asked Adem
"Truth" There was a small anticipation in everyone, they all wanted to know one bloody thing about Adem Aslan.
"Are you Homelander's illegitimate son?"
"Nope," Adem said. Causing half the room to groan, and the other half to grin. 20 bucks were exchanged amongst them.
Jordan actually gave Andre 100 bucks. Getting a "Told you".
The game continued for a couple more turns until it was Tyler's turn to ask, "Truth or dare?"
Cate's eyes widened. So far, Cate had been a non participant observer. She stayed in the corner, and hoped to be forgotten. After all, she wasn't really used to being in large groups… or out of her room for that matter.
But right now, she needed to make a choice. Since there was a lot she wanted to keep to herself, she ended up choosing "Dare"
"I dare you to kiss Adem," Tyler said with a grin.
The temperature in the room immediately dropped a little. They did not know what to expect, if it was any other girl, they would have laughed it up, but Cate was a Tactile Mind Manipulator, so telling she will be touching the strongest Supe in the college might set off the said Supe. Which in turn might not end well for any of them.
Except, it didn't.
'You sweat Caramel Angel!' Adem thought as he looked at his new best friend before looking towards Cate, "You don't have to if you don't want to…" he said but it was clear from his voice he really wanted to kiss the pretty blonde.
"It's fine," Cate said as she leaned in and gave a kiss that lasted a couple of seconds.
Her face reddened a little, and so did his. While the kiss itself was short lived, he enjoyed it very much, 'Strawberries… nice,' he thought before Cate turned towards him,
"Truth or Dare?" She asked him
"Dare," he said without thinking much
"I dare you to take me out for a coffee," she said and he quickly nodded his head,
"Um… did she brainwash him?" One of the kids asked in a low tone. Steve hit him in the ribs for asking such a dumb question, Adem was clearly into her. Although Steve wasn't into girls, even he could see Cate's appeal.
"Anyways, Adem, it's your turn." Luke interjected.
— That Night, New York, Vought HQ —
Annie January was an ordinary girl- well an ordinary bulletproof girl who can shoot photonic beams from her hands. At least she was until a couple hours ago when she was informed that she had been chosen as the replacement of Lamplighter in the Seven.
She was flown to New York City on a private plane, taken the Vought HQ.
Everything started great. She was introduced to the public as the newest member of the Seven, tens of thousands came to get a glimpse of her. To appreciate her for all the good she had done so far and will do in the future. She even got to meet her first crush- The Deep. But then Deep pulled down his pants and started stroking little Deep.
He instigated to her to suck it, or her position in the Seven might be in jeopardy.
And so she did…
