Dan slowly opened his blue eyes and closed his mouth after absorbing an enormous amount of natural energy that had just been directly converted from raw, violent solar energy through his unique technique, the Fermentation Seal.
The gigantic pale blue glowing spherical field surrounding him gradually disappeared. He stood silently in the vacuum of outer space facing the massive white star before him, a celestial giant that had radiated light and heat endlessly in every direction for billions of years. This sun was far from his home world, and he had specifically chosen it as a training ground.
Suddenly, a vast and majestic blue aura erupted from around him, spreading across the surrounding space for immense distances. It rippled with such overwhelming power that it seemed capable of distorting the very fabric of space itself. His blue eyes shone intensely for a brief moment like twin stars illuminating the darkness. Then the aura slowly receded and faded away under his absolute control until it vanished completely, while his eyes returned to their normal appearance.
Dan spoke quietly as he gazed at the colossal sun before him.
"It seems that the closer I get to completing the Fifth Vitality Seal, the more I need to focus on the finer aspects of controlling my power, especially my spiritual energy, which has been growing at a terrifying rate."
He was speaking only to himself, his contemplative voice unheard within the endless silence of space as he reflected deeply on the new challenges that appeared with every step forward.
Then he turned his attention toward a relatively large red rocky planet not far from his current position within this strange star system. It was a dead and barren world devoid of life, covered with red stone, dust, and ancient volcanic craters that had remained dormant for millions of years.
"I choose you."
In truth, Dan no longer practiced the Fermentation Seal, which absorbed raw solar energy and converted it into natural energy, within the same star system that contained his home planet. He was currently located in an entirely different and extremely distant stellar system. He had discovered it during his journeys through the depths of dark outer space using the Network and his spatial-folding teleportation technique.
When he first arrived in this new system, he had felt a degree of excitement and curiosity. The system contained eight planets orbiting a large central star, and he wondered whether he might discover some form of life or civilization there. Perhaps there would be intelligent beings, an advanced society, or at least primitive life inhabiting one of the worlds.
However, after inspecting the planets one by one, he found nothing. Every single world was dead.
Some were cold and barren rocky planets. Others were giant gas worlds without any solid surface at all. There was no water, no atmosphere suitable for life, no ecosystems, and not even the most primitive microscopic organisms.
After his initial disappointment faded, he decided to make use of the lifeless system in a different way.
First, he would use its star as a training source for the Fermentation Seal.
More importantly, after opening the enormous Inner World that would one day become the future home of the Walt Family, he decided to use one of the dead planets as raw material for constructing that world.
Technically speaking, he could use Yin and Yang Release to directly manipulate the matter and energy that existed throughout the universe in order to shape the Inner World.
Of course, this was not true creation from nothingness.
Creating something from absolutely nothing was a feat beyond the reach of any mortal being. Only the Creator God could accomplish such a miracle.
What Dan could do was manipulate existing matter and energy, absorb them, and reshape them according to his will. In essence, this represented the highest level of understanding within the domains of Yin and Yang.
Yet despite its elegance, this method would actually take much longer. It would require immense concentration maintained continuously for years or perhaps even decades.
In Dan's eyes, there was no need for such inefficiency.
As long as a simpler and faster solution existed, why not take advantage of it?
He could easily shatter one of the rocky planets in this distant system into countless fragments, refine it into pure raw material, and use its entire mass for his project. There was no reason to waste precious time gathering matter through more complicated and slower methods.
The dead red planet before him contained nearly everything he needed. Vast quantities of metals and countless varieties of rock and minerals. Perhaps even reserves of frozen water hidden deep beneath its surface.
He would take this planet apart completely, reducing it to its fundamental components and transforming it from a useless dead world into the foundation of a new living realm filled with prosperity and life.
There was no reason to waste valuable time on unnecessary complications when a more efficient use of available resources could achieve the desired result.
"Well then..."
A faint smile appeared on Dan's face.
"I suppose it's finally time for me to devour you."
He slowly raised both hands. Immediately, the layers of space around him began to tremble and ripple like waves upon an endless ocean.
