The Clan Leader darted forward, asking urgently, "Clan Witch, what's going on?"
The other Beastmen who were preparing to leave also stopped in their tracks, turning their heads to look.
The Clan Witch ignored the Clan Leader. She tremblingly cradled the shattered stones, a terrifying light bursting forth from her cloudy eyes.
"A female stone shatters for only two reasons. Either the stone has run out of energy..."
Her eyes were fixed on Bai Wanwan without blinking, as if she were looking at some priceless treasure.
Hu Ya had just started to breathe a sigh of relief when the Clan Witch's voice suddenly rose. "But for it to cause an explosion of red light, there is only one possibility."
Her withered fingers trembled as she pointed at Bai Wanwan. "She is a Holy Female, blessed by the Beast God!"
Dead silence.
Then, the entire Witch Cave erupted in a deafening uproar.
"A Holy Female?"
The Clan Leader stumbled back two steps, his old face flushing red. "The kind that legends say only a Super Tribe can have... a Holy Female?"
Amidst the storm of shocked cries, Bai Wanwan smiled calmly.
'So this is what showing off feels like. It's not bad at all.'
The way the Clan Leader was looking at her now was exactly like a starving wolf spotting a plump lamb.
'Tsk, tsk...'
'Too bad for him, I have no intention of being some helpless animal for the slaughter.'
"Impossible!"
Hu Ya's voice was so shrill it nearly pierced the silence of the Witch Cave. Her face was ashen, her nails digging deep into her palms.
"Clan Witch, Bai Wanwan was tested at birth! If she's really a Holy Female, how could she have been rated as having low fertility back then?"
The Clan Witch glanced at her, her withered fingers stroking the shattered female stone. "A young female's fertility isn't stable. If anyone still has doubts, I can prepare another female stone in three days to verify it."
"That won't be necessary," Bai Wanwan said, cutting her off.
The corner of her eye twitched upward, her gaze landing lightly on Hu Ya. "Since you're so concerned about my affairs, I'll prove it to you right now. I'll make you understand that my fertility is simply stronger than yours."
The Clan Witch, listening from the side, was stunned. "How will you prove it?"
As far as she knew, only a female stone could test a female's fertility.

Hu Ya spun around to glare at Bai Wanwan. "Bai Wanwan, aren't you just deceiving everyone because you don't want to go to the Female Cave? But even with a lie like this, you'll still be sent there in the end."
"Who said I was lying?"
Bai Wanwan's lips curved into a beautiful smile as she raised a hand to her flat stomach. "I'm already pregnant."

That useless female is pregnant?
Every Beastman in the Witch Cave was so shocked their jaw dropped.
The shocked expression on Hu Ya's plain face was particularly comical.
The Clan Witch darted forward and, without a word, thrust her hand, which resembled withered tree bark, under Bai Wanwan's Beast Skin Skirt.
Three breaths later, a bright light suddenly erupted from the Clan Witch's cloudy eyes. "Bai Wanwan is indeed pregnant with a cub!"
Her words struck like a clap of thunder.
After all, even a female with superior fertility had to mate with her Beast Husband day and night, and if she was lucky, she might get pregnant within half a year.
Yet Bai Wanwan had only just come of age and hadn't even taken a partner...
"Whose cub is that in your belly?" Hu Ya demanded shrilly, her fingernail nearly poking the tip of Bai Wanwan's nose.

Bai Wanwan lazily brushed her finger aside. "What's it to you?"
She yawned. She had been put through the wringer last night and no longer had the patience to deal with Hu Ya.
"If we're done here, I'm going back to sleep."
Yawning, Bai Wanwan turned and walked away, completely ignoring the Beastmen in the Witch Cave, who were still shocked into silence.
The Clan Leader darted forward to block her path, his old face crinkling into a wide smile. "Ah, Wanwan, the caves for the young females are too crowded. The largest stone house on the back mountain has already been prepared for you..."
Hu Ya was instantly furious. 'The Clan Leader clearly said that stone house was for me!'
"Clan Leader!" she cried, trembling with rage. "You promised me..."
"Ahem!" The Clan Leader coughed to cover his embarrassment. "Your stone house will be the one right next door."
Seeing that Hu Ya was about to protest further, he immediately put on a stern face. "It's the tribe's rule: the one with the best fertility gets the best treatment!"
Bai Wanwan watched this little drama unfold with cold detachment.
She didn't even spare the Clan Leader a glance as he obsequiously led the way.

The Clan Leader continued to ramble on, "These stone walls keep it warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Look how spacious this house is! In the future, if you were to have a few litters of cubs..."
"Are you done?" Bai Wanwan cut him off. "I'm tired. I want to sleep."
The Clan Leader's expression stiffened. He hurriedly called for people to bring in a dozen or so snow-mink pelts, piles of dried meat, and fresh berries.
Seeing that Bai Wanwan remained unmoved, he suddenly shouted toward the cave entrance, "Come in! From now on, Wanwan is your female, and this is your home!"
