She turned and walked toward the neighboring cave.
"Xin Yu, who do you love?"
The male panted, answering without the slightest hesitation, "I love Yaya."
"Xin Shan, I want to be your Wife. Are you willing?"
"I am."
'Great. The two tools can finally piss off.'
'But to cheat on her so blatantly right before she got rid of them? This was something she absolutely couldn't tolerate.'
The commotion in the cave grew louder. Unlike last time, Bai Wanwan didn't barge straight in. Instead, she turned and headed for the center of the tribe, where the beastmen congregated.
"Aunt Hong, Xin Shan and Xin Yu hunted too much game, and we don't have room for it all. I'd like to invite everyone to my home for a feast today."
'Xin Hong was a female who loved food and gossip. She absolutely had to be there!'
Xin Hong's eyes lit up. "Really? There are only a few people in your household, yet you're still going to share with us."
"That's the thing. With so few of us, it'll go to waste if we can't finish it all."
Just then, another middle-aged female passed by. Bai Wanwan called out again, "Aunt Shui, my family hunted a wild boar and we don't have room for it! Come over to my home later for the feast."
In no time, Bai Wanwan had invited more than ten families. She even sent someone to fetch the Clan Leader.
Bai Wanwan even grabbed Xin Hong and two other females, pulling them directly toward her home.
"Wanwan, Aunt Hong just loves a generous female like you…"
The words were barely out of her mouth when everyone heard the commotion coming from Hu Ya's home.
Such things were common in the Beastman Tribe, so no one was going to shame them or hurl insults.
"These young ones have so much energy. They don't even know how to cherish their female. Going at it like this every day… poor little Yaya won't be able to take it."
"Oh, Xin Shan, you're amazing!"
The female who had just been speaking suddenly found the words caught in her throat. She turned in shock to look at Bai Wanwan.
Bai Wanwan immediately played her part, putting on an expression of shock and fury.
Just then, the other beastmen who had been following them arrived.
Everyone heard the commotion from inside and began whispering to one another.
"Aunt Hong, Aunt Shui, why don't you have a seat? I'll… I'll go inside and portion out the meat for everyone."
There was usually little entertainment in the tribe. Now that such a spectacle was unfolding, no one wanted to leave.
Word spread like wildfire, and more and more beastmen gathered.
By the time the Clan Leader caught wind of the situation and hurried over, half the tribe was already gathered in front of Bai Wanwan's home.
The sounds from Hu Ya's cave still hadn't died down.
The Clan Leader's face was black as soot, but he was still clinging to a sliver of hope.
"What is everyone doing here? Wanwan just came of age and formed her family. How could she possibly have enough meat to share with all of you? Scram, go on home!"
Having intentionally orchestrated this whole situation, Bai Wanwan had no intention of letting them leave so easily.
She hurried out and laid everything bare. "Clan Leader, you've seen for yourself. The brothers Xin Shan and Xin Yu are in love with Hu Ya. I am willing to let them be together."
The Clan Leader immediately lowered his voice. "Wanwan, don't be ridiculous. Xin Shan and Xin Yu are your Beast Husbands. Uncle will handle this for you. For now, let's just figure out what's going on. Just listen to me."
'Listen to him?'
'In his dreams. He wants me to be a breeding machine for his family?'
'Though, being bound to a procreation system, she supposed she already was one.'
'But at least she could choose which males she had children with.'
'If even that right was to be stripped from her, then she might as well let it all burn. She had no intention of continuing to suffer and make her own life difficult.'
She put on a wronged expression. "But their hearts belong only to Hu Ya. They don't want to be my Beast Husbands. Uncle, let's just forget it. I won't force them."
"Nonsense! You are the Holy Female! How could they not want you? Don't worry, they'll never dare do this again. After this is settled, you'll all get mated right away and have a couple litters of cubs. Then, no one in this tribe will dare to bully you."
The Clan Leader mixed coercion with threats. Seeing that Bai Wanwan had quieted down, he thought he had successfully intimidated her.
He failed to notice the sarcastic curl of Bai Wanwan's lips.
Suddenly, she raised her voice. "Uncles and Aunts! Everyone has seen it! Xin Shan and Xin Yu went behind my back to roll around with Hu Ya…"
"Bai Wanwan, shut your mouth!"
Bai Wanwan flinched theatrically, but her words remained sharp. "If we had already been officially mated, an act like this would have them punished by the Mountain God!"
The Clan Leader was so furious his beard was practically standing on end.
Deciding to quit while she was ahead, Bai Wanwan reined it in. After all, she was stuck in the Mountain Cat Tribe for the time being.
"Besides, I don't even like them, so this works out perfectly. Let them mate with Hu Ya. That way, the Mountain God won't have to punish them."
In the beastmen's culture, males were expected to be absolutely loyal to their partners. This was because females were both fragile and scarce. Not every male even got the opportunity to mate, and a large number of those with weaker Talents were destined to never have that chance.
Therefore, out of gratitude—and fear of the Mountain God's wrath—males would not betray their partners lightly.
In severe cases, they could even be exiled from the tribe, becoming Wandering Beasts.

The Clan Leader's face was grim. His tone, no longer negotiable, was a direct command for the beastmen to disperse.
Cowed by the Clan Leader's authority, the beastmen slowly scattered.
Bai Wanwan didn't stop them; her objective had already been achieved.
Suppressing his rage, the Clan Leader stalked straight toward Hu Ya's stone cave without giving Bai Wanwan a single glance.
A moment later, a scream echoed from within.
Bai Wanwan didn't follow. She simply crossed her arms and waited for the rest of the show.
Soon, the Clan Leader brought Xin Shan and Xin Yu before Bai Wanwan.
They were completely dejected, heads bowed, not daring to look at her.
"Wanwan, you haven't officially mated with them yet. As long as we pretend this never happened, you can still go through with it."
"Clan Leader, what are you trying to say?"
The Clan Leader's expression softened into a benevolent one. "This was these two cubs' fault; they have wronged you. I will teach them a harsh lesson, and they will never dare to do it again. In fact, let's do it today. I'll have the Clan Witch perform your mating ceremony. After that, if they ever dare pull a stunt like this again, they'll have the Mountain God to answer to, and they'll deserve whatever punishment they get!"
'Bai Wanwan couldn't believe how shameless the Clan Leader was. Even after everything that had happened, he still hadn't given up on forcing them on her as Beast Husbands.'

The Clan Leader forcibly suppressed his temper. "Wanwan, you need to think this through. The rainy season is almost here. A fragile female like you won't survive the coming snow season without a male's protection."
"Don't worry, Clan Leader, I've thought about it very carefully. I do need a Beast Husband, and I think Xin Feng would be a good choice. If he's willing, I'd like to mate with him."
The Clan Leader started to argue, but Bai Wanwan was done playing games with him.
"Clan Leader, if that's really not possible, it's alright. I can always go to another tribe."
That single sentence forced the Clan Leader to concede.
