Chapter 22 - C022 : Movements

Beltane, where Hera lived with her familia. A single bolt of lightning fell in a designated location clear of anyone, at any and all times. They arrived at their home, a place they would see for what might be the last time ever. They ran straight home to see Hera.

"Mother Hera, we're back! We've got news!!!" Gamelia cheered. "Huh?"

"Hera? Why are you all prepared to leave? We haven't said anything yet?" Ceraunius asked with a half knowing, and half confused smile.

"I'm going with you to see Zeus, and those adorable twins! I can't hold back anymore!!!! I want to see Meteria's boy and girl! Just once before they go to Orario." Hera said with a proud huff.

Gamelia and Ceraunius smiled.

"In that case, Mother Hera, I'd like to wait for an update."

Hera smiled knowing exactly what Ceraunius met, and proudly gave him a nod. "Then we'll do it like that. Let's go, I have this feeling like we might miss something if we don't go now!"

"Oh?" Gamelia smirked.

"Yes! I even packed up all of your important stuff for you. Now let's go." Hera said with anxiousness filling her heart.

Bheara had run over from bathing in the pond, holding her towel up to keep her mild modesty this time. "I'm glad I managed to catch you." She was breathing heavily, having just sprinted 500 meders at top speed, barefoot.

"What is it, Bheara?" Gamelia asked.

"I wanted to see you off. I don't know when we will meet again, or if we ever will. But if we do, I want you to know, having watched you grow, I know you'll handle everything thrown your way. So I will remind you, challenge yourselves, and continue to live up to the aspirations inspired by those heartfelt tears I saw the day you arrived."

Ceraunius and Gamelia were momentarily stunned, at first a little annoyed that they might have had their resolve questioned. But then, took a deep breath realizing what it was Bheara was doing, and what she was asking for.

Ceraunius released everything he had, holding absolutely nothing back, not even a single most tiny particulate of his furious might.

Gamelia at the same time, released everything she had in store, a show of her steadfast power she would use to flip calamity upon its head.

The two stood there, the full might they possessed, both showing proof, all the signs they were ripe for a level up. There was no question of their immense might, and resolve to see their vows through.

""Lady Bheara, from sadness born tears, our aspirations were born, we will see them through. Thank you, for everything.""

Their booming voices carried the strength of will, resolve, fury, kindness, and love filling their words, warming the whole of Beltane.

"Hmm, it seems I was worried for nothing. Good, make sure you come visit when you get the chance." Bheara said with a smile. "Hera's had some wonderful children."

Adding Hera to the traveling party, the three left Beltane, in search of a mountain village the married couple had visited multiple times. Only now, they would be arriving with a whole different purpose.

A mountain village, early morning, an old man sat at a table, staring at his meager breakfast with memories passing through his mind of different times, he glanced to the side where stacks of books full of the tales of heroes exploits, and their life stories rested, stacked up as a reminder he had failed in warning them long ago.

He looked ahead at his grandson, Bell and granddaughter, Zaria. Putting on the warm smile he couldn't help but have whenever he looked at these two. The two looked at him eagerly while they ate. And then, the three finished their meal.

"Grandpa, what's this story you wanted to tell us?" Zaria asked.

"Yeah, what kind of hero are they? Like the Argonaut? How about Fulland? Or what about…" Bell asked with a really enthusiastic expression. He loved hero stories and that was made abundantly clear with how he hopped in place like a cute little bunny.

"A completely different story, this is my story." He began.

Bell and Zaria listened to the whole story, both eagerly hanging on the edge of their seats with each and every word. It was as if the story was molding their very souls. Zeus carefully managed to avoid revealing that the story was about Zeus until the very end…

"That was a good story, Grandpa, but why didn't the hero go to fight with the others?" Bell asked, with a curious head tilt towards his sister.

"Yeah, and why didn't you say his name, grandpa? It was always a pervy guy or something like that." Zaria asked, tilting her head towards her brother.

Their grandpa smiled, and then cleared his throat. "Bell, the reason the hero of this story didn't go fight, is because of who he was. His name… And that name is… Zeus, god of thunder, King of the gods, Olympios."

Bell's eyes slowly started to light up with realization, and then widened with a big smile as he figured it out.

Zaria's expression was similar to her brother's, though she looked at the books again, and remembered the day she heard her grandpa say he'd failed Maxim.

"Our grandpa is Zeus? The god of the strongest familia in history!?" Bell practically shrieked with excitement.

"That's why you said all of that about Maxim." Zaria said with her friendly smile, masking the excitement she felt for having a god as her grandpa. "So, that means… Lady Hera is our grandma!!! I want to see her so much!!!"

"You will one day, Zaria. Perhaps sooner…" Zeus said, getting to his feat sensing the approach of it. "Much sooner than I thought. He's got a whole lot faster than before. Come, we have guests arriving shortly."

"Wait, really?!" Bell asked, looking at the door with curiosity.

"I don't see anyone, grandpa." Zaria questioned, but stood up, and took the dishes to the kitchen. "How many are we having?"

"Three. Set out 6 cups, Zaria. Bell, help me put the books back."

"Okay!"
