"Hahahaha! Fake! It's all fake!"
"This world has no Uchiha Madara! No Sage of Six Paths! And certainly no Otsutsuki Kaguya!"
Beneath a crimson blood moon, in the very center of the Fourth Shinobi World War battlefield, Uzumaki Menma stood atop the head of a black Nine-Tails, laughing wildly as eighty thousand Allied Shinobi Forces surrounded him.
The countless experts of the ninja world below all wore grim expressions. Over the past two years, they had grown accustomed to this madman who constantly proclaimed that "this world is fake."
After his maniacal laughter faded, Menma removed the white three-eyed fox mask from his face, feeling the strange pulsation from the transplanted Sharingan within him—along with the growing sense that the world itself was rejecting his existence.
Fifteen years had passed since he had transmigrated into this world.
As a transmigrator, he originally believed he was Uzumaki Naruto. Only later did he realize he was actually Uzumaki Menma. His parents—Namikaze Minato and Uzumaki Kushina—were both alive and well, which made him understand the truth.
The world he lived in was nothing more than a false "Limited Tsukuyomi" reality.
In order to find a way out, he had spent over a decade growing stronger, collecting various kekkei genkai and secret techniques. He had even transplanted a pair of Three-Tomoe Sharingan into himself and subdued the Black Nine-Tails, becoming a powerhouse beyond Kage-level.
Yet no matter how hard he searched, he could not find even a trace of Uchiha Madara, the Sage of Six Paths, or Otsutsuki Kaguya in this world—no legends, no records, nothing.
So Uzumaki Menma launched a "Great Spiraling Wheel Devastation" at each of the Five Great Shinobi Villages, igniting the Fourth Shinobi World War.
The Five Villages assembled an army of eighty thousand ninja to oppose him, and Menma used the opportunity to reveal the truth of this world to everyone.
Regardless of how many of those eighty thousand believed him, the false world had already begun to reject his presence.
Feeling the rejection of the "Limited Tsukuyomi World" growing stronger and stronger, Menma looked down at the faint white light beginning to radiate from his body, his expression filled with joy.
He was finally leaving this world.
He just didn't know whether he would awaken in the real Naruto world at some point in the past—or if it would already be the late stage of the Fourth Shinobi World War, during the Infinite Tsukuyomi.
"This is my farewell gift to this world."
In his right hand, Menma condensed a dark purple sphere of energy. At its core was highly compressed dark-attribute chakra, while a ring of wind-style chakra formed a star-like halo around it.
As the Great Spiraling Wheel Devastation crashed to the ground, blinding white light shot into the sky. A massive explosion engulfed over half the battlefield and swallowed tens of thousands of ninja!
Uzumaki Menma himself vanished within the brilliant radiance.
———
October 10th, Year 51 of Konoha.
Late at night.
In a secret delivery room hidden within the forests outside Konohagakure, protected by multiple barriers, Uzumaki Menma slowly opened his eyes.
"As expected of the Yellow Flash."
"But what are you going to do next?"
A voice sounded from very close by.
Menma's eyes widened as he saw a man wearing a tiger-striped mask holding him in one arm.
Turning his head slightly, he saw Namikaze Minato holding a blond-haired infant in his arms.
"Minato!" Kushina cried weakly from the bed not far away.
'The night of the Nine-Tails attack?'
'Wait… Minato is holding Naruto. Then who am I?'
Before he could think further, the explosive tags left behind by the masked man detonated, blasting Minato out of the room.
In that same instant, Uchiha Obito used Kamui to drag both Menma and Kushina into the Kamui dimension.
"Menma!" Inside the Kamui space, Kushina struggled to rise, but her body was weak from just giving birth.
Uchiha Obito, still wearing his tiger-striped mask, threw out two chain-wrapped kunai, binding Kushina in place.
Then he looked down at the baby in his arms.
"Not crying… not fussing at all, huh?"
Obito suddenly felt that killing this infant like this would be far too boring.
A bag of rice carried up several floors!
No—he wanted to make his teacher Minato experience the agony of losing someone dear!
What if he raised this child into a villain and had him destroy Konoha in the future?
That sounded like an interesting game.
Imagining a future where Minato's two sons ended up killing each other, Obito couldn't help but let a small smile creep onto his lips beneath the mask.
'But raising a child for more than ten years is too slow.'
Obito had no interest in playing house with a baby.
After glancing once more at his former teacher's wife, his body was swallowed by Kamui.
When he reappeared, he was already outside the Konoha Orphanage on the outskirts of the village.
"Menma, huh?"
Obito looked down at the baby staring back at him with wide blue eyes, recalling the name Kushina had called out earlier.
He left a Kamui coordinate on Menma's body, wrote the name "Menma" on a piece of paper, and placed the infant—still wrapped in swaddling clothes—at the entrance of the orphanage.
Obito was confident that neither Namikaze Minato nor Uzumaki Kushina would survive the night.
"Ten years from now, I'll come find you."
With that, he disappeared into the Kamui dimension.
'Hey, at least knock on the door first!' Menma screamed internally as he watched Obito leave him behind in the cold night air.
The chilly wind blew across his face, and as a newborn infant with no strength, no mobility, and not a shred of chakra within him, all he could do was open his mouth and cry at the top of his lungs.
Boom!
In the distance, inside Konoha Village, a gigantic Nine-Tailed Fox was summoned and began wreaking havoc.
The entire village was instantly thrown into chaos. Civilians awakened from their sleep fled frantically toward evacuation shelters, while ninja rushed to the front lines in an attempt to stop the rampaging beast.
"Director, why is it so noisy outside? Did something happen in the village?"
A childish voice came from inside the orphanage.
Creak—
The door opened, and Yakushi Nonō—dressed in a black-and-white nun's habit—stepped outside with a gray-haired child beside her.
"Ah!"
Upon noticing the crying baby lying on the ground, Nonō hurried forward and picked him up.
"An abandoned child?" Kabuto stepped forward from behind her, looking at the now-quiet infant in her arms before glancing around.
Nonō checked the swaddling cloth and found a wrinkled little note.
"Menma… Is that his name?" she murmured softly.
In the direction of Konoha, a massive black silhouette loomed faintly in the night, radiating an overwhelming and terrifying pressure even from afar.
Seeing those nine enormous tails, Nonō—who had participated in countless wars and gathered intelligence across various nations—immediately realized that a Jinchūriki had likely lost control.
She quickly instructed Yakushi Kabuto to wake the other children, preparing to evacuate them to the nearest emergency shelter.
It wasn't until the next day, after ensuring the children were safe and going into the village to gather supplies, that Nonō witnessed the devastation firsthand.
The village was in ruins, and grieving civilians mourned the loss of their loved ones.
After asking around, she finally learned the truth about the previous night—the Nine-Tails disaster, and the deaths of the Fourth Hokage and his wife.
