Aurelius Viremont activated the energy within his body. Under the precise control of the Six Eyes, he funneled it into the corpses of Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight, and Cull Obsidian. Under the searing heat of that energy, their bodies—along with every stray shard of bone and fleck of flesh—were reduced to ash.
After disposing of the remains, Aurelius Viremont's X-ray vision revealed a swarm of Black Order soldiers rushing toward his position. As Thanos's most elite troops, even with their leaders dead and the odds impossible, they charged toward the enemy without hesitation!
Facing such a crowd, Aurelius Viremont might have previously used Hollow Technique: Purple to send them on their way, but he had a better idea now—one that involved neutralizing the Black Order without damaging the warship. After all, he had plans for this vessel; he couldn't just blow it up.
As the soldiers drew near, he raised his right hand, extending his index and middle fingers, then crossing the middle over the index. With the simple hand seal complete, he spoke softly:
"Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void!"
The energy in his body boiled, instantly converting into pure Cursed Energy and being consumed at a rapid rate. Infinite information flooded the entire warship. Every living being inside was dragged into the "inner side" of the Limitless, forced to undergo endless cycles of "perception" and "transmission," resulting in a massive influx of useless information!
The moment the Domain expanded, every soldier of the Black Order froze, turned into a living statue.
Seeing this, Aurelius Viremont's smile widened. His body vanished from the spot, reappearing five meters away. He flickered like a ghost, appearing beside each soldier and injecting energy directly into their bodies.
As Aurelius Viremont's silhouette blinked across the ship, bursts of light erupted throughout the interior—the light of the Black Order soldiers being vaporized from the inside out. The energy required to kill these soldiers was a mere pittance to Aurelius Viremont; even the energy he had absorbed from the ship's main cannon earlier was more than enough to turn them all to ash.
Utilizing the teleportation of the Lv.4 Limitless, Aurelius Viremont moved through every section of the warship in a heartbeat before returning to the bridge. Within that short span, every soldier had been eliminated, leaving nothing behind but scattered gray dust.
He paused for a moment in the control room. The physical strain caused by the rapid spatial jumping was instantly healed by the Reverse Cursed Technique. Within seconds, he was back at his absolute peak!
With the enemies cleared, Aurelius Viremont opened a portal to the Chitauri mothership, allowing Tony and the others to enter this vessel, the Sanctuary II. He turned to Tony, who was busy scrutinizing the alien tech.
"Tony, can you take control of this ship?"
Tony replied with immediate confidence, "Of course. You're looking at the world's greatest inventor; there's nothing I can't do... but wait, where is everyone else? I don't see any crew."
"Just finished cleaning them up."
"What?!"
Aboard Thanos's other vessel, Sanctuary I, the Mad Titan was becoming increasingly restless as time passed. He turned to Ebony Maw with a growl. "Why have Corvus and the others not returned?"
Maw was equally puzzled. "I shall contact them immediately..."
Ebony Maw attempted to hail Sanctuary II, but since the communication array had been destroyed by Aurelius Viremont and was currently under repair by Tony, the signal couldn't go through. As the silence stretched, a sense of dread peaked in Maw's heart.
"Could it be...?"
He immediately pulled up the internal surveillance logs of Sanctuary II. He and Thanos watched the playback: they saw the white-haired human swimming upstream against the main cannon beam; they saw Cull Obsidian's head crushed into the floor; they saw Proxima Midnight vaporized; and they saw the "immortal" Corvus Glaive crushed by opposing forces of repulsion before his "indestructible" blade was erased by a purple sphere.
Ebony Maw fell silent. Even the Mad Titan, who made the universe tremble, remained quiet.
Thanos's wrinkled face twisted with rage, but he understood he couldn't seek revenge right now. Based on the combat power displayed—specifically the ability to erase Corvus's blade—this human was already his equal, perhaps even his superior. Moreover, it was clear the human hadn't even gone all out; the Black Order hadn't been enough to force his hand.
In the deathly silence, the rage on Thanos's face faded into a cold, calculated calm. He couldn't retaliate yet; he had a Great Work to complete. He turned to Maw and spoke with a trace of helplessness:
"Put all our focus into finding the Power Stone. Only after we have the Power Stone can we consider invading Earth."
Facing the terrifying White Demon, even the Mad Titan—who feared no one and slaughtered half of all life—had to hibernate. Simply put: he couldn't win.
Thanos... had backed down.
Aurelius Viremont was pleased with Tony's response. He asked Tony to fix the bridge and teach Black Widow's team how to pilot the ship. This vessel would serve as the headquarters for Su-SHIELD for the foreseeable future.
Since it was now a base, it needed a new name. "Sanctuary II" didn't fit anymore. After a moment of thought, Aurelius Viremont decided: the ship would be called The Ark. A vessel of salvation that would bring "peace" to the cosmic powers in the future!
Leaving Tony and the crew on the ship, Aurelius Viremont opened a portal back to the penthouse of Stark Tower. He walked up to the portal generator. The Mind Stone floated out of his pocket dimension, and a massive amount of energy enveloped Aurelius Viremont's arm.
He reached out, his hand passing through the "indestructible" energy shield as if it were air, and snatched the Tesseract. Feeling the immense spatial energy within, Aurelius Viremont applied pressure. Amidst arcs of black and red lightning, the Tesseract shattered, revealing the brilliant blue Space Stone hidden inside.
Using the Limitless, he kept the two Infinity Stones orbiting him. Massive streams of energy poured into his body.

The system notifications sang in his ears. After his body reached its limit again, he had absorbed a staggering amount of energy. Combined with his steady accumulation over the past days, his integration surged:

He was closing in on 100%. The next character template was almost within reach. Aurelius Viremont's lips curled into a satisfied smirk, but there was one more thing that would make him even happier.
He opened a portal to the Helicarrier and found Agent Hill, who was now working for him.
"Tell me," he said, "the current locations of every high-ranking general in the military."
