She sobbed uncontrollably, hiccuping as her eyes grew red and puffy. Clenching the prayer mat tightly in her fists, she poured her heart out to Allah. "Ya Allah, grant me peace," she pleaded, feeling the weight of her fears and sorrow pressing heavily upon her.

The next morning, Iliana walked into the office wearing her baby pink abaya, looking absolutely radiant and sophisticated. As she entered with Asma, flipping through some documents, she suddenly heard loud, aggressive voices echoing through the lobby.
"Where is your CEO? Bring her here!" a man bellowed, clearly agitated.
Iliana paused, standing behind a column, watching the scene unfold. The man turned to her, his eyes narrowing. "Stop this drama, sir," she replied calmly, trying to diffuse the tension.
"Oh, then stop making that medicine , or we'll set fire to your industry!" he shot back, shoving a crumpled piece of paper into her hands. "Our leader wants to meet you at this location."
As Iliana took the paper, the man roughly pushed her aside. A sly smile crept across her face as she anticipated his next move. With a quick flick of her foot, she tripped him, causing him to stumble and crash to the floor.
Bending down, she chuckled softly, "Don't even think about coming near my company; trash belongs in the dustbin."
The atmosphere shifted as everyone around them glared at the man, their expressions a mix of disbelief and disdain. Angered, he scrambled to his feet and, in a fit of rage, seized Iliana by the throat. But to his astonishment, she remained eerily calm. With a swift, practiced motion, she kneed him in the stomach, forcing the air out of his lungs and leaving him gasping. The tension in the room was palpable, as Iliana stood her ground, unyielding and fierce.
Her colleague quickly dialed the police, and within moments, they arrived, swiftly apprehending the man. Just then, Eiden strolled in, barely glancing at the commotion.
"Green chameleon, your office is just as dramatic as you are," he chuckled, making his way into Iliana's office. She followed him, taking her seat with an air of calmness, letting out a deep sigh as she settled in.
"Check the recent documents, Mr. Archaeopteryx. The workers you've brought into the industry are furious. They spend more time listening to music than actually working," Iliana remarked, her eyes slightly red and puffy from the tears she had shed the night before.
"At least they're not worshipping a nonexistent God," Eiden shot back, a smirk playing on his lips.
Iliana fixed him with a steady gaze. "Fix it, or we'll have to reconsider the collaboration."
Just then, Asma entered with two cups of coffee in hand. "Oh, a coffee for me too? I didn't think you had it in you, but which one is for you?"
Iliana pointed to her cup. "That one is mine , I always use this."
Eiden quickly snatched it. " I need this one. From now on, whenever I come in, make sure to give me coffee in this cup with less milk, so I can see how the green chameleon manages," he teased, a playful glint in his eyes.
Asma quietly observed their banter, a smile tugging at her lips as Iliana rolled her eyes and muttered, "Idiot."
Afterward, Asma brewed a fresh cup for Iliana, ensuring it was just right before she left the office, leaving behind the lingering tension and light-hearted bickering.
Eiden and Iliana were sifting through documents related to cancer medications, reviewing the attempts of others who had tried and failed to create effective treatments.
"Ms. Green Chameleon, do you really think we can manufacture this medicine?" Eiden jokes, a hint of sarcasm in his tone. "It seems like everyone who's tried is dead, and I'm not ready to give up my evergreen youth just yet."
