Then inside the cave, the man sensed a powerful presence, like death itself.
He immediately stood up, and the others did the same.
Joel walked slowly inside the cave. All his enemies burst blood from their mouths and died one after another.
At that moment, without realizing it, he reached the cage area. The first slave he saw suddenly trembled.
"What is happening to me?"
Blood flowed from her nostrils and eyes. Then she vomited her organs and died.
Her gaze was fixed on Joel's eyes.
"What did I just do?" he whispered.
What am I doing?
He grabbed his head and covered his eyes. The other slaves screamed when they saw that.
Suddenly, someone punched him in the stomach. It was the blind man, and Joel was thrown backward.
Meanwhile, Stephane ran toward them and attacked the blind man with knives.
Then he shouted,
"Take this! I will sew your eyes shut! This time I won't take long."
His face twisted.
"You're dead."
He sent multiple strikes, but the blind man avoided them with ease.
After that, Stephane was breathing heavily.
The blind man heard it and said,
"I thought you were stronger than this. What a shame."
He attacked Stephane, punching him in the jaw and finally in the chin. Stephane was thrown away as if he were a bag of stones.
The blind man smiled maliciously and approached him. When he got close, he kicked him.
Joel didn't want to see that anymore and approached him with a small knife.
"Haaaa! Stop what you are doing!"
The blind man struck him in the esophagus. Joel spat out blood.
"You're too dangerous."
He burst Joel's left eye with a knife. Joel screamed in pain, fell on the ground, and rolled.
"What a good sound," said the blind man.
Meanwhile, behind him, Stephane slowly stood up. Rage burned in his eyes.
How can you touch my tool?
Quickly and quietly, he pierced the man from behind five times.
The man staggered backward.
"Mm... what..."
He touched his back and saw blood.
Shit, shit, shit.
Then a black aura radiated out of him, and his wounds healed.
"You all are dead."
Stephane thought,
Maybe this will be the end for me.
But suddenly he saw a shiny object that attracted his attention, and he took a combat posture.
"I can't give up if there is gold in front of me."
Immediately, the man laughed and ran toward him.
He threw the first punch, and Stephane avoided it slightly. A second punch came, and he avoided it again, then counterattacked.
But his knife broke upon contact with the man's skin.
The blind man smiled maliciously and raised his arm for a final blow.
Suddenly, a monster came out of his shadow and devoured the man. Then a woman stepped out of the shadow, and it disappeared.
"Are you Stephane?" she said coldly.
He responded,
"Yes, I am."
After that, she went deeper into the cave and saw a small treasure. Then she opened all the cages for the slaves, and some of them fled.
One boy with black hair, whose sister Joel had killed in front of his eyes, wanted to kill him too. His eyes were terrifying.
He approached Joel, who was unconscious, with a knife.
Then the woman interfered.
"What do you want to do?" she asked.
Suddenly the boy shouted,
"He killed my sister! Why shouldn't I do the same?"
The woman, dressed like an assassin, whispered with frightening eyes,
"Flee if you don't want to die."
He froze for a few seconds and then fled. At the entrance, he saw all the dead bodies, blood, and organs.
"I make a promise to eradicate all the monsters... and kill him!"
Meanwhile, the woman left with them. She used a skill and appeared in a town building.
Stephane, tired and weak, said,
"Thank—"
He did not finish his words. She suddenly pierced his kidneys, left and right.
Stephane fell down, blood flowing like water from his body. Then the woman disappeared.
Joel was a few meters away from him.
Stephane was dying slowly, but he saw the warm smile of a child in his mind.
I can't die now... I need to... I need to say something.
He vomited blood on the floor.
Struggling, he stood up and approached Joel.
At that same moment, Joel heard a voice in his mind.

His eyes were burning in pain. He scratched them, and skin and threads came out.
The other eye regenerated, gleaming.
His gaze turned toward Stephane.
"Father... I'm sorry."
Stephane said with a smile,

Then blood burst from his mouth onto Joel's face, and he fell to the floor.
He died with a smile.
Joel shook his body, but there was no reaction.
