Cursing and grumbling, Liu Heizi tracked down Gu Shulin. "Village Head, I absolutely won't take that house! It's way too cursed. We haven't even moved in yet and already found bones. You have to give me a different one."
Gu Shulin was busy clearing the foundation of his own plot. He froze at the news. "What bones? Didn't Chief Li say the guards had already cleared everything out?"
"If only they had cleared it out!" Liu Heizi's face was full of grievance. "They're still sitting right there in the cellar! When I went in, it scared the living daylights out of me. My heart is still pounding. Feel it if you don't believe me."
Gu Shulin was speechless.
"Village Head, say something! Are you going to give me a different place or not?"
"But hasn't every place already been assigned? Where am I supposed to find another empty house for you?" Gu Shulin frowned.
