After the call with Zero, I felt more determined to make some money for myself. I need money for a lot of things, but it would definitely be beyond shameless for me to just ask Zero for money. We aren't even family or anything, and he probably didn't mean what he said but was just being nice.
A sigh left my mouth as I exited the call area, heading straight for the kitchen. I caught sight of Jamie, the leader and I swallowed hard before quickly walking off. I was yet to forget about the creepy run in I had Witt that vampire back in the restroom some hours ago. Did the leader know that the vampire came to threaten me? Probably, since they clearly work together.
