I was scared shitless, pulling the leather jacket closer to me like that would change anything. It didn't make me feel a little protected as I continued to walk the long pathway that led to the platinum dorms. I was already tired, my legs still not used to walking long distances since I was crippled my whole past life. And the last time I was to walk this pathway, I was carried almost throughout the whole way by Kade.
The thought of that made me blush a little embarrassed. I still couldn't believe what happened, that the person I assumed was gonna do some dangerous thing to me after Jamie, our leader, left me with him. Surprisingly, he ended up being very cool. I already agreed to hang out with him and that's when I'll return this jacket to him.
