A bullet whistled thought the air, grazing Emma's earring, shuttering it before burying itself directly into kurtow's forehead. He slumped back, dead instantly.
" Who did that?! Who's there?!" Emma screamed, spinning around.
BANG!
Another shot rang out. This one struck Oka's mother, piercing her heart.
"MOM! NO! Oka's shrieked, collapsing over her body. Emma, you promised! You promised you'd save her!"
Emma stood in shock, her world spinning. Who is doing this? Why won't they let my sister's secret come out? What is happening?
"Emma,go! Get out of here!" Kuro shouted. "Don't worry about us, just go!"
Emma checked her watch-8:00 PM without a word, She jumped on her bike a sped toward the graveyard.
The Graveyard
She parked her bike at the gates and walked into the silent rows of Tombstones. A boy stood there, he is face hidden behind the mask.
"Who are you?" Emma demanded "And why are you bothering me with this letter?
The boy slowly reached up and removed his mask. Emma's legs gave out, and she fell to the ground, sobbing.
"I... I'm so sorry... She choked the out
The boy ,sumi, look the at her with cold, hateful eyes,"sorry for what?for killing my best friend? I know your friendship for him just an act."
" It wasn't on act!" Emma cried.
"Then why didn't you tell me he was dead?" Sumi spat. "Why did you hide it? If I hadn't come back, the secret would have stayed buried forever!"
"I was scared," she whispered."I was scared you would judge me".
"Judge you? I'm erasing you, " sumi said, his voice trembling with rage."you didn't even give me a chance to say good bye to my best friend. You killed him because he was in your gang, didn't you? Because I was on the another gang... You killed him for the Deccan!"
"No!" Emma screamed, her heart breaking." Don't say that! I could never even think of such a thing!".
Emma says, " He was our friend. Yes, he wasn't one of the Lions, but he was our life.... We would have even given our lives for him."
At that moment, the boy speaks in a deep heavy voice, as if holding back his tears," If he was your life and your friends life, then why did you give him such a punishment?"
Emma says while crying,"punishment? That punishment was for me. I lost everything that night -my brother, my love, and my friend. It was an accident...or maybe it wasn't an accident, but I didn't do it on purpose. He suddenly come in front of me and then..."
[Flashback start]
A flashback is shown where a meeting of The Lions is taking place. Emma is standing at the same ruined temple. Suddenly everyone shouts in unison," president!"
The Jack arrives. He is wearing the clothes of another gang, as if he has joined hands with the rival gang.
Emma say,"what kind of joke is this? Are you betraying us?"
Jack says, A joke ? The joke is that you considered me more than your own brother and then snatched the most precious thing from that very brother!"
Emma says," Jack, you made this rule. Do you remember? We are just following the rules. I also know how much the rules matter to us Lions".
[Flashback ends]
Suddenly the flashback breaks. Then sumi says," what happened? Are you remembering your friends before your death? Don't worry,Emma, I wan't kill you. I will snatch your most precious things from you, just like you snatched my most precious things from me."
Emma stands up and, wiping her tears, says in a heavy and terrifying voice-looking completely like a psycho while saying this -" sumi, what can you possibly snatch from me ? My family is already not with me. As for my friends, that is not possible in this lifetime. To put it in simple words for you, you don't even have the status to touch them."
Sumi looks into Emma's eyes and says, " The price...you and your 'never- say - die ' attitude haven't changed at all yet. But moving forward, this will break."
Saying this, he leaves from there with a terrifying laugh, but grief was hidden in his laughter.
Scene shift
Emma suddenly falls down and starts vomiting blood. Her eyes immediately start to close. Monster and Haiku were hidden behind a tree; they immediately come running.
Haiku places Emma's head in his lep and says while crying." Please open your eyes, Emma ! I don't want to lose you; I wan't let nothing happen to you."
Emma speaks in a painful and low voice," Haiku...is that you?"
Haiku says" yes" while crying. Emma vomits blood again; that blood falls on Haiku's hand. Emma's condition had become extremely bad this time.
Monster says." Who was that boy? And did he give Emma some poison that made her health deteriorate so much?"
Haiku says while wiping his tears,"I know him, he cannot do such a thing."Then haiku says, "This is not the time to ask all this, call the ambulance quickly!"
Scene shift
The clock shows 5:00 in the evening. The hospital is shown. Emma's eyes open. Haiku, kuro, Angel, and monster are standing near her. Haiku was handling kuro.
Emma says,"where is everyone else?"
Haiku hugs her as soon as he sees her and Shouts at her,"Do you know you have been asleep for four days? We were so warried about you! And why didn't you tell me everything?"
Emma asks again,"where is everyone else?"
Haiku says," They are all with doctor joya, fighting for you." Haiku then shouts, " Are you so fond of playing the actress? Why did you go to meet him alone?
Emma asks kuro for two lollipops. Haiku says,"Everyone is obessed with lollipops!"
Kuro asks,"why do you want two?"
Emma says."I' ve been asked question after question since I wake up. I said just give them to me."
Kuro gives her two lollipops. Emma opens one lollipop and put it in her mouth. Kuro says , "what will you do with the second lollipop?"
Emma says,"just watch" she opens the second lollipop and puts it in Haiku's mouth and says to Haiku,"Man, take a breath for once!'
[Scene shift: Hallway]
Emma comes out of the room. Dr joya sees her and signals the gang members to be quite.
Emma suddenly says,"everyone, SILENT!"
Seeing her, everyone shouts" president!" And bows down. Emma tells them, "I'm not used to this much respect," and says,"Get out of here."
She goes back to her room, but Haiku and kuro are not there. She asked the nurse where those two are; they say,"we don't know, maybe,they went downstairs."
[Scene shift outside]
Kuro says"I know you still love Emma."
Haiku says,"it's nothing like that".
Kuro says,"what do you mean nothing like that? When you found out Emma started loving Deccan, you didn't distance yourself from her like other people; instead, you supported her. You were breaking from inside. I know that too. But look now, she doesn't even have Deccan anymore, so why don't you go back into her life?"
Haiku says, "No. Man, She considers me her best friend and I don't want her to break the friendship with me."
Kuro says,"so you want your heart to break."
Haiku says,"If she is happy like this, then I have no problem."
Just then, Emma arrives there and says," what are you all talking about?"
Haiku says," Nothing. Are you okay?"
Emma says," yes ".
Then Haiku comes very close to Emma's face and starts looking at her, staring into her eyes.
Kuro says,"will this flirting of your stop?"
Haiku was about to speak... When suddenly Emma Punches him right on the nose and says,"yes, the flirting has stopped!"
Haiku looks at his nose, which is bleeding. Kuro asks Emma,"Is she okay?"
Emma says,"I'm not dead, I'm just fine."
