Four days later, the scene shifts to the hospital where Emma is in the ICU. Her vomiting of blood has stopped, but her condition remains critical .
Doctor joya asks Angel,"when I was in the gang , Emma used to be fine... So what happened to her now ?"
"I told you not to give her any stress," Angel replied.
Angel then says,"what stress? Emma never mentioned anything like that to us".
Dr joya counters,"If she doesn't tell you, did you never try to find out after seeing her condition?"
Angel replies," it's not like that . Haiku and I asked her everyday if anything was wrong ."
Dr joya Sighs,"I didn't know anything else. All I can say is that if Haiku doesn't return, whatever little will to live she was left vanish. So, whatever you need to do, do it fast."
The camera pans to Monster and Haruto watching Emma through the ICU gate. Haruto vows to himself," Emma, I promise, I will bring Haiku back at any cost."
Just then, Angel receives a message from
Dark: "Has Haiku gone mad?"
Followed by a message from Rai: "I don't know why Haiku is doing this, but what he's doing right now isn't right."
Rai's message continue:" Right now, we have no president, no vice president, and no kuro. Therefore, we have decided that until Emma, Haiku,or kuro returns, you will lead the gang."
Seeing the message, Angel smashes har phone in rage." They have absolutely no sympathy for Emma's condition,"she thinks.
The scene shifts Angel asks Haruto,"where is monster?"
"He went home," Haruto replies. Then he asks,"Angel, will you help me?"
"With what?"
" I promised Emma I'd bring Haiku back."
" Fine,"Angel agrees
Haruto asks,"can you tell me something about Haiku?"
" Yes,"she says,"but can we talk about this leter?"
" I'm already late; I can't afford any more delays," Haruto insists. Angel relents," Fine, but you have to come to my house, I'm already late, and if I'm any later, my mom wan't let me inside."
Scene shifts to Angel's house, which looks no less then a palace.
Haruto is stunned." Is this your house?"
"Yes," Angel replies simply.
As the enter, Angel 's mother asks,"why are you so late?"
"Scold me later, Mom. A new member joined our group. I'm taking him to my room; please bring food there," Angel says.
In Angel's room, Haruto sees numerous gang photos on the walls -mostly of Emma and Monster.
"What are all these photos doing here?"
Haruto asks.
"This gang is everything to me. I'd give my life for it," Angel says.
Suddenly, there's a knock at the door. Angel opens it to find monster standing there. He immediately hugs her. "I was so scared ! Why didn't you pick up my phone? I thought I..." "Thought you what? Finish the sentence!" Angel teases.
Haruto interrupts, " I'm here too, Angel, in case you forget."
Monster look surprised." How long have you been here?"
"Ever since you hugged Angel," Haruto retorts.
Monster starts blushing.
Monster breaks the tension ," I got a message from Haiku. He says 'Mission money' is complete today."
" What does 'Mission money' mean?" Angel and Haruto ask.
"Money means the enemy," Monster explains.
They both burst out laughing." What are name- Mission money!"
Done laughing ?" Monster says, " listen Emma has regained conciousness, and Haiku is calling as all to the hospital."
" All right, let's go. I'll come with Haruto."Angel says.
Monster pouts," you could come with me too."
" Fine,no problem," Angel agrees.
The scene shifts. Angel is on the back of Monster's bike. Monster asks," why weren't you picking up my call?"
"Dark and Rai 's message were annoying me . They only care about the gang, not Emma. I broke my phone in a fit of rage."
Haruto pulls up beside thei." Aren't we getting late?"
" Here comes the third wheel," Angel thinks.
Monster tells Angel," Hold on tight. I'm going to ride fast; we need to get there quickly."
Back at the hospital, Haiku is sitting outside the ICU, crying. He approaches Angel, Haruto, and monster, dropping to his knees." S... sorry. Emma is in this state because of me. I don't deserve her. If only I had told you everything earlier, this wouldn't have happened. But I acted like a fool, trying to be a solo Hero."
Angel and monster hug Haiku. "Don't worry. This isn't your fault."
Haiku sobs,"but I don't have the courage to look her in the eyes. I failed. I did this to the person I love. It's all my fault."
Angel comforts him," No, we told you it's not your fault. We are with you. You were trying to protect her too."
Dr joya steps out." You know Emma is awake, right ? So calm down. Only two of you can go inside at a time. And Haiku, you can't go in yet. Sorry Haiku but her condition is still unstable; seeing you my trigger another relapse "
"I understand,"Haiku says.
Angel and monster enter the room. Before they can speak, Emma says,"Haiku is outside, isn't he? I could hear him crying.
How is he?"
She adds,"can you to send him in"?
Monster is about to refuse, but Angel drags him out and tells Haiku, " Emma is calling for you."
Haruto tries to follow Haiku inside, but Angel grabs his collar." Where do you think you're going?"
"Inside, to see Emma," Haruto says.,
" Emma called for Haiku , not you ? Stand here quitely," Angel commands.
"Fine," Haruto grumbles.
Inside the ICU, Emma asks HaiKu, "what's wrong? Afraid to look me in the eye?" Haiku is speechless and starts crying again. Emma slowly sits up and hugs him. "It's my fault. I doubted my own best friend."
" No, Haiku replies," It's mine for not telling you nothing."
Outside, Haruto sneaks a look through the ICU window and sees Emma hugging Haiku. Angel stands behind him, fuming."I told you not to look!"
Haruto snaps," Forget that! Why is Emma hugging him? You 'third wheel', can't you be quiet for once instant of constant Chattering?"
Angel replies, "Fine, since you asked... Haiku is in love with Emma."
Haruto immediately falls into a state of depression.
Monster adds," But Emma doesn't love him back. She only sees him as best friend . So, you still have a chance.
Angel mocks Monster," you just had to poke your nose into this too, didn't you Monster just laughs.
"This is going to be fun," Monster says."watching Haruto and Haiku fight over Emma."
" It is quite funny,"Angel agrees. Haruto starts muttering angrily," Haiku, I'll ruin you! I'll keep Emma away from you!" Angel grabs Haruto by the ear. "Pipe down !" Are there more ears behind this two?" Haruto jokes.
" No!" Angel snaps.
The seen shifts back to Haiku and Emma. "What's the plan ? " Emma asks." From the time I spent with them, I've learned they plan to attack our gang on March 11th, " Haiku reveals.
He continues," I'm really sorry I don't visit you for four days. Oka had his Lackeys watching me. But don't worry, when the day comes , I'll we fighting by your side".
Haiku adds one more thing", there is a Spy from their side in our gang. You need to find them before March 11th. So we can use them to our advantage.
Today is March 6th; you have five days left".
"Understood," Emma says.
The scene shifts outside where kuro has arrived."where is Emma?" He demands." She's in the ICU with Haiku,"Angel replies. Hearing this, kuro face twists with rage as he begins to force open the ICU door.
