Chapter 38 - The Awakening of Blood

Far from the surface of the earth, inside the decaying palace beneath the sea, strange creatures gathered in silence around Princess Kalisa, who had finally returned, carrying with her a carefully sealed bag.

With calm and confident steps, she advanced toward the vat from which bubbles were rising, a sign of the faint remnants of life still lingering within that deformed body.

She stood there for a moment, then opened the bag and took out the liver of King Godea, gazing toward the vat before saying, "It is time."

She brought the liver closer to the vat and began squeezing it slowly, fresh blood flowing from it and streaming into the vat, mixing with the liquid surrounding the deformed creature.

Kalisa murmured as she circled the vat, "My king… it has been a long time since your absence, and now the time has come for your return… twenty years have passed since our kingdom was destroyed, and now you shall rise to reclaim your right."

The water began to evaporate little by little as the body absorbed the blood. A horrific transformation started to take shape; the decayed skin regained its vitality, deep scars slowly healed, while life gradually returned to the body lying within the vat.

The creatures continued to stare with eager anticipation mixed with dread, awaiting the moment when the life-hungry body would rise from its long slumber.

After moments of anticipation, in a majestic scene, the king rose from the vat and released a heavy exhale that shook the place, as the cries of the surrounding creatures echoed throughout the hall.

Long black horns emerged from his head, streaked with glowing lines pulsing with energy, emitting deep vibrations that made the ground tremble.

His skin was hardened and etched with interwoven patterns glowing with a blue shimmer, and his eyes shone with an unending light.

He raised his head high, then looked at those around him with an overwhelming gaze filled with dominance and power, and silence fell upon everyone.

Kalisa stepped forward, knelt before him, and said in a voice filled with reverence and submission, "My lord… we have long awaited this moment."

He spoke in a low voice, saying, "Kalisa… how much time has passed?"

Kalisa answered in a soft, emotional voice, "Twenty years, my king. Twenty years have passed since our fall, and since then we have been waiting for your return."

The king looked around, then in a voice filled with determination and vengeance, said, "Then the time has come to restore the glory of our kingdom, and we will make the Kingdom of Anomazon pay dearly."

The surrounding crowd began to roar and cry out with excitement until their voices filled the entire place.

Kalisa stepped forward with steady steps, carrying a spear with three heads, then knelt before the king and silently extended the weapon to him.

The king took the spear and stood tall, holding it firmly, his eyes overflowing with majesty and resolve.

He raised his head high, then his voice thundered through the crowd, saying, "Loyal followers, you have waited long for me to awaken from my slumber and return to you."

The king continued, saying, "After bitter patience and a long dark night, the time has come to reclaim the crown of our lost glory. We will wash away the shame of defeat with our blood, and we will avenge every soul that was taken by our enemies. We shall neither forgive nor show mercy… and we will erase our enemies from existence until not even their name remains."

"We will rebuild the Empire of Estlazon to be greater than it ever was. A power that dominates the world, and from the ashes of the past, we shall forge an unconquerable future!"

Cheers of joy rose from the creatures, filled with excitement for a new beginning under the leadership of their king, who had returned after a long absence to revive their dream of ruling the world.
