Chapter 44 - An alliance that brings nothing but ruin

In the depths of the waters, far from the palace halls and the battle of the walls, King Aziron moved forward in silence, followed by a group of his amphibious soldiers.

Amid the stillness that enveloped the place, one of the soldiers approached him and whispered in a voice filled with concern:

"Excuse me, Your Majesty… where are we going?"

Aziron looked at him with cold eyes and said in a calm voice:

"To 'Bloody Galimon.'"

Silence fell, and looks of unease spread among the soldiers.

After a few moments, one soldier moved closer to his companion and whispered cautiously:

"Is what they say about Galimon true?"

The other replied in a tense tone:

"Yes, everything I've heard is true… he is a monster. His obsession with blood and killing has made him more dangerous than one can imagine."

Then he added in a low voice, as if recalling terrifying memories:

"During the reign of King Atlazios, they tried to restrain Galimon, but he was a raging force, like a devastating torrent that sweeps away everything in its path."

He continued:

"One day, a wild urge for bloodshed ignited within him, so he killed a group of innocents out of mere boredom. That was when the king realized he had no choice but to exile him. Since then, no one has dared to approach him."

After a long journey through the depths, the outline of a small island began to appear, surrounded by raging waves and thick gray fog.

When they reached the shore, everyone was struck with shock at what they saw.

The sand was stained with the blood of mutilated sea creatures.

In the middle of the shore lay the corpse of a massive whale, its body torn apart in a horrifying manner.

Aziron moved calmly and approached the corpse, his eyes examining it closely.

Suddenly, something moved within the disfigured body, and everyone froze in place.

The soldiers stepped back, some gripping their weapons with trembling hands.

Before anyone could speak, a double-headed spear shot out like lightning and lodged itself into one of the soldiers' chests.

The soldier fell dead instantly, his blood spilling onto the sand.

And yet, Aziron did not retreat. Instead, he stepped forward with confidence and said in a steady voice:

"Bloody Galimon… I have come with an offer for you."

The movement stopped for a few seconds, then the whale's body split open, and a grotesque being emerged from within—his body covered in blood, his body covered in blood, his eyes gleaming with a wild gaze, and a terrifying smile stretched across his savage face.

He spoke in a hoarse voice, licking his lips:

"An offer? For me? I hope it's something that interests me…"

Aziron smiled coldly, raised his head slightly, and said with confidence:

"I know exactly what ignites your appetite… the people of Anomazon."

Galimon paused for a moment, then smiled and said:

"Anomazon? Their blood? An interesting idea…"

Then he added in a warning tone:

"But remember, Aziron… if you're planning to deceive me… your blood will be the first to quench my thirst."

Aziron smiled and replied confidently:

"Don't worry… you will have what quenches your thirst… and more."

And thus, the blood alliance between King Aziron and Bloody Galimon began.

An alliance that promises nothing but ruin, and heralds a devastating storm heading toward Anomazon—unaware of the danger rising from the depths of the ocean.
