Chapter 146 - Asgard

These two matters—one concerning the safety of Earth and the Nine Realms, the other deeply intertwined with Asgard—provided the perfect material for a grand narrative.

Although Chen Chen hadn't yet found any trace of the "peculiar spatial passage" or the "Aether Particle" he'd mentioned to Thor, as a transmigrator who knew the plot of *Thor: The Dark World* by heart, he was certain of the Aether Particle's eventual emergence. Malekith's return was inextricably linked to this event; their appearances were bound by an inevitable causal relationship.

Therefore, Chen Chen wasn't afraid of his current lies being exposed. As the timeline converged toward the story's climax, even the Aether Particle, yet to appear, would eventually manifest—a fate fixed by destiny itself.

Moreover, as Chen Chen had stated, the Other Dimension, originally created by Thor's grandfather Bor to seal the Aether Particle, had its entrance hidden on Earth and would move around.

This characteristic made it exceptionally difficult to find. As the Son of Bor and King of Asgard, Odin should have understood this. He would also realize that with Asgard's technology, finding an Aether Particle that had been hidden for centuries would be no easy task. Therefore, Chen Chen wasn't worried about being discovered by Asgard in the short term, nor about them realizing his ulterior motives.

"Chen Chen, do you have any proof to support your claims?" After pondering Chen Chen's information for a long time, Thor looked up at him, his blue eyes slightly lowered. In a deep voice, he asked, "If what you say is true, this matter is of great importance. Without any evidence, it would be difficult for us to believe you."

"One must always be wary of others." This was a valuable lesson Thor had learned from his brother Loki's betrayal.

Moreover, for Thor, Chen Chen wasn't someone he inherently trusted. After all, they had once fought each other fiercely.

Chen Chen's timing was also quite opportune. He arrived just as the chaos in the Nine Realms was about to subside, which Thor found somewhat suspicious.

Although Thor didn't know how Chen Chen had gotten here or what his true intentions were, he believed that without significant personal gain, Chen Chen wouldn't act so rashly. Moreover, the fact that he had crossed multiple dimensions from Earth to Valheim, enduring such a arduous journey, suggested he had something substantial in mind.

*Regardless of what he's after, the first priority is to confirm whether his claims about Maquinquis and Aether Particles are true.* Thor thought, staring intently at Chen Chen's face.

"Evidence?" Chen Chen murmured, rubbing his fingertips together. *Click.* He snapped his fingers and said softly, "I have it."

Immediately, he inwardly called out, *System.*

*Respected Host, how may I assist you?* The cold mechanical voice echoed in Chen Chen's mind.

"Exchange for a trace of the Reality Stone's aura."

*Ding. A trace of the Reality Stone's aura has been successfully exchanged.*

"Good." Chen Chen extended his palm towards Thor. A faint, dark red fluid slowly floated from his hand, twisting and shifting in mid-air to form irregular shapes. The energy emanating from it allowed Thor to sense the presence of Aether Particles.

"This is a trace of the Reality Stone's essence, a part of the Aether Particles. When I first discovered it, I extracted it from the Other Dimension and preserved it using magic."

As Thor's sky-blue eyes caught sight of the Aether, a crimson glow flickered within them. He nodded. "This form is remarkably similar to the legends I've heard."

Turning to look at Sif, Fandral, and the others standing around, Thor asked, "The battle in Valheim has stabilized, hasn't it?"

"Yes," Sif replied, her heroic eyes shining with relief. "Thanks to the assistance of Lord Chen Chen, we've completely secured the battle. All that remains now is cleanup and prisoner processing." The fact that the war had ended without significant casualties was a cause for celebration, and Chen Chen was the primary reason. As this thought crossed her mind, Sif's gaze towards Chen Chen softened even more.

"It seems you've done us a great service," Thor said, flashing a wide smile at Chen Chen as he stood up. From Sif's account, he understood that without Chen Chen's intervention, the casualties would have been far greater. "Now that the battle here is settled, we'll return directly to Asgard. I need to investigate Chen Chen's claims thoroughly."

Thor rose to his feet and extended his thick, muscular arm toward Chen Chen. "To our continued cooperation!"

Chen Chen clasped Thor's calloused hand, a faint smile playing on his lips. "To our continued cooperation."

*Asgard, I'm coming!*

Asgard, the realm of the Aesir gods.

Viewed from the silent expanse of space, it stood apart from the other Nine Realms. Not a planet, but a demi-plane, its surface was adorned with countless colossal, resplendent structures, shimmering with golden radiance. Against the predominantly black backdrop of the cosmos, it shone with extraordinary brilliance.

Unlike the primitive, untouched state of Valheim, the outer layers of Asgard's sky were filled with countless spaceships of varying sizes. Their streamlined hulls, plated with two layers of shimmering gold, exuded an air of opulence and aesthetic grace.

At that moment, countless swirling, multicolored lights suddenly appeared in the pitch-black void of space. The next second, a radiant, seven-colored pillar of light erupted and shot straight toward Asgard.

*Boom!*

Simultaneously, within Asgard, a massive golden sphere—the closest to the cosmic sky and facing the seven-colored light pillar—began to rotate.

As the giant golden sphere spun, it rotated a uniquely shaped, elongated tubular component. As the sphere rotated, the tube aligned itself with the approaching seven-colored energy pillar.

*Boom!*

The immense energy contained within the light pillar caused no damage to the golden sphere or the tubular component. Instead, as the potent energy touched the tube, it formed a vortex that spiraled inward, swirling into the sphere's internal structure.

The sphere's interior was hollow, and figures began emerging from the tubular component.

These were Thor, Chen Chen, Sif, and their group.
