"Oh my..." Sif found herself more shocked today than she had ever been in her life. This man, who claimed to be Thor's friend, kept shattering her perceptions, wrapping himself in a veil of mystery.
"What a mysterious man," Sif murmured.
"Come, tell me what's going on here," Chen Chen asked, approaching Sif and the Warriors Three after finishing off the Valheim invaders.
Initially, his sudden arrival on the battlefield had prevented him from noticing anything amiss. But now that the fighting was over, Chen Chen looked around carefully and realized the environment and atmosphere here were different from Asgard. Remembering the opening battle in *Thor: The Dark World*, he suspected he might have been transported to another dimension.
"Lord Chen Chen, this is Vanaheim, home to the Vanir, another tribe with whom we share common roots. Our Second Prince—no, the God of Mischief, Loki—made a wicked deal with a madman in the cosmos named Thanos, plunging the Nine Realms into chaos. Vanaheim has suffered greatly from this as well."
Sif answered Chen Chen's questions carefully, guessing that he had originally intended to travel to Asgard to find Thor but had made a mistake during the teleportation process, ending up in Valheim amidst the war. By chance, he had encountered their group.
"A mage who can effortlessly kill Krunan warriors with magic is far more formidable than Loki, the trickster. If he were to become our ally, it would undoubtedly be a tremendous asset to Asgard."
Stroking his fingertips, Chen Chen's face remained impassive after hearing Sif's explanation. Inwardly, however, he cursed Nick: "You one-eyed, bald fool! After all this time researching Asgard's coordinates, you still got it wrong? You're utterly incompetent!"
Fortunately, he had encountered Asgardians here. If he could return with them, it would spare him the embarrassment of having to re-calculate the coordinates.
"Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!"
At that moment, a dazzling, multicolored pillar of light suddenly descended from the sky over Valheim, striking the ground directly in front of Chen Chen and his companions. With a *whoosh*, the radiant light dissipated, revealing a man clad in silver armor and a crimson cape. His handsome face was framed by long, golden hair, and blue lightning crackled around the silver hammer in his hand.
"Thor," Chen Chen murmured softly.
"Hmm? Is that you?" Thor's face lit up with surprise at the sight of Chen Chen in his black attire. "What are you doing here?"
Seeing his long-unseen adversary, Chen Chen shifted his weight and slowly approached. "I came for you."
"Me?" Thor raised a golden eyebrow, his gaze turning wary. "What business do you have with me?"
"I am now the Sorcerer Supreme of Earth's Kamar-Taj, responsible for protecting our world from incursions from other dimensions," Chen Chen explained. He then produced the empty shell of the Eye of Agamotto and displayed it to the assembled group.
Even without the Time Stone, the artifact from Kamar-Taj, with its exquisite craftsmanship and magical aura, served as undeniable proof of Chen Chen's status as the Sorcerer Supreme. As the others began to show signs of conviction, Chen Chen's expression turned solemn and righteous. With a voice full of conviction and righteous indignation, he began to expound upon the great mission he now bore, completely bewildering Thor, Sif, and the others.
*At times like these, the reputation of Kamar-Taj and the Sorcerer Supreme is truly useful,* Chen Chen thought to himself, observing Thor's bewildered expression. Without further ado, he cut to the chase. "Recently, I discovered some strange space portals on Earth. They are invisible to the human eye and constantly shift their locations. But the portals themselves aren't the real issue."
"What matters is what they contain. During one of my investigations, I stumbled upon a space passage emitting a peculiar aura—an aura that reshapes reality. After further investigation, I believe it to be the Reality Stone, one of the Infinity Stones."
"You might not have heard of it by that name, but you've likely heard of the Aether Particle."
When Chen Chen mentioned the "Aether Particle," he noticed Thor's pupils contract momentarily. With a faint smile, he continued, "The Aether is the Reality Stone among the six Infinity Stones. It can manifest a person's thoughts into reality without exaggeration, rendering all physical laws meaningless in its presence.
"In the past, the Dark Elf leader Malekith—you've likely heard of him—this madman sought to use the Aether Particle to plunge the universe into darkness and claim it for himself. The Aether can transform matter into dark matter and seeks hosts to parasitize, draining their life force. While the Aether's initial power may not have rivaled the other Infinity Stones, its might grows exponentially with each world it consumes from the Nine Realms. When it devours all Nine Realms, its power will be sufficient to plunge the entire universe into eternal night.
"For the Dark Elves, even a fragment of the Aether can create powerful Cursed Warriors. Malekith once used Aether shards to forge Cursed Stones, thereby creating a vast army of Cursed Warriors known as the Cursed Army. But they were ultimately annihilated by your grandfather Bor and the Asgardian forces, and the Aether Particle was sealed away."
"At this point, Chen Chen paused, his narrow, mysterious eyes fixed on Thor's. 'Now that the Aether Particle has reappeared, it signals that Malekith will return with his Dark Elf army to strike against the Nine Realms once more. As the Sorcerer Supreme and protector of Earth, I cannot allow this to happen.
Given that your family, Malekith, and the Aether Particle all share a certain connection, I've come to you today to discuss and collaborate on how to handle this matter.' He conjured a chair from Extra-Dimensional Space, sat down, and quietly observed Thor.
To infiltrate Asgard, Chen Chen needed a legitimate excuse.
As the guardian of Earth's magical side, he held an "official" position. The title of "Sorcerer Supreme" allowed him to publicly demonstrate his stance.
As for Malekith and the Aether Particle (the Reality Stone)..."
