Chapter 76 - | Don't Worry

And so, after the doctor finished checking my vitals, he said that I'm good to go. Yeshua assisted me throughout the process and when we got out of the ER, Tabitha and the boys quickly walked towards us.

"Maria!" Each of them called out as soon as Yeshua and I walked out of the hospital's ER. All of them ran towards us while I heard Yeshua's chuckle.

"Are you okay?"

"What did the doctor say?"

"You're not injured, are you?"

"No chemicals found in your body from that drink?"

"Just say the word and we'll tell the doctor ASAP."

To be honest, I didn't track who were the ones that said those but I am glad that they care for me. "She's laughing." Said Andrew. "You sure you're fine now?" Simon. "She's okay now, Simon. She's okay." Answered Yeshua, making me look at Him with a smile and He also looked at me with a smile.

And suddenly, a hand was put under my chin and made me look at the owner of the hand. "Why are your eyes bloodshot though?" Asked Tabitha while still holding my chin and looking at me eyes. "Cried." I answered while looking at her. Tabitiha then nodded and removed her hand from under my chin.

"Shall we go then?" Asked Thomas with a smile. "Where?" I asked, looking at him confusedly. "At the hotel that Naomi booked for us." Answered Simon while he's standing behind me, and then I saw Yeshua talking to a man in a suit not much far from us. "Who's that?" I asked them while still looking at the man Yeshua is talking to.

All of them followed where I was looking at, "It's Boaz's secretary. He also helped Simon and Jude surrender the spiked water to the police." Answered Matthew. "The catering service will have a tainted reputation now." Said Thomas. "It wasn't the bartender himself. It was the adversary." I said, not looking away from Boaz's secretary.

"What do you mean?" John. I shook my head and looked at them with a smile. "Nevermind. Shall we?" I said as I began walking towards where Yeshua and Boaz's secretary was. Then they followed but I could hear them murmur with one another.

"The adversary?"

"Does she mean the devil?"

"But why?"

"She said it was the bartender. If I laid my hands on that person…"

"Simon, she just said that it wasn't the bartender himself."

"Himself or not, he better face the consequences."

"Something definitely happened to her, you don't boys know?"

"If something happened to her, we'll know because she tells every little thing that happens in her life to us." Not all.

And when I came near both Yeshua and Boaz's secretary, the secretary quickly looked at me. "Are you okay now, miss?" He asked, I nodded with a smile in response. "Don't you worry now, the suspect will be captured and face the consequences of their actions." Said the secretary firmly. "Thank you." I thanked him. He then removed his coat, walked closer to me and wrapped his coat on me.

"I'll update Boaz and call for a driver to drive you to your accommodation." Said the secretary to Yeshua. He nodded in response and the secretary walked away.
