Chapter 75 - | ER

Ugh… my head hurts. Why do I hear beeping? It's so bright in here… where am I?

"Ugh."

"Maria?"

"Yeshua? Where am I?"

"They call this the 'ER',"What? We're at the emergency room? "Oh, so that's what it means,"Wh-why? "You blacked out due to… what do you generation call it again? PTSD?"

"Oh." The only thing I said and tried to sit down on the bed but felt the needle at the back of my hand. "Ow!"

"Don't hurry yourself, Maria," said Yeshua as He helped me lay down the bed again. "I shouldn't even be here. Who's gonna pay the hospital bills? We don't even have enough money on us." I said as I tried to sit down again, even when the needle hurt me. Yeshua helped me sit down.

"You don't have to worry about it, Maria. All has been taken care of. You don't have to worry." Said Yeshua as He sat down at the chair beside the bed I'm on. Who…? "Boaz's secretary is already taking care of it just outside. The drink has already been forwarded to the guards by both Simon and Jude. You only have to rest, Maria." Answered Yeshua with a smile. That's that smile again. Yeshua chuckled.

I sighed deeply. "You're awake." Said the nurse as she came close to me on the other side of the bed. "You should've been lying down on the bed, not sitting." Added the nurse as she checks the IV fluid on the side. "But I feel okay now." I answered. The nurse looked at me then looked back at the IV fluid. "Yeah, tell that to the doctor." She replied then walked away from us. "Rude." Said Yeshua. I quickly looked at Him and He looked at me then the both of us chuckled.

"I'm okay now, Yeshua," I said. "I know. But not your mind." Said Yeshua. "What do You mean?"

"Your mind made you live through that traumatic experience of yours." You heard it. And I looked away, moved my legs closer to me, and hugged it. "Yes. And I already know what you've been through." I buried my face on my knees. I feel… unclean. I felt the bed move and then arms hugging me. "You are already a new creation, Maria. You are a new creation through the love that Abba has given." And I cried.

Yeshua's hug became tighter and I cried much more. "Let it out, let it all out." And I sobbed and sobbed and sobbed until I calmed down, still wrapped in Yeshua's arms.
